THEY CLAIM A DWNLOAD RATE OF UP TO 2mbps, i get at most 300kbps and once in a navy-blue moon, 1mbps.

Chei ! Make una come h-e-l-p me o ! Starcomms don ban me oh ! I just renewed our N15000 (250hrs) starcomms connection when i was told that they were banning us. They said i am using their internet for scam. Me ! Scam ! Evidently, starcomms is monitoring what we are downloading and doing on the network. I do acknowledge that i am a massive downloader of things like music, ebooks, softwares etc. They quoted something like "p2p traffic harry potter protocool" something, something. I dont know what to do and need you guys advice. Any ideas ? Would give you more detailed info next time.

am also a massive downloader but lately my download don reduce drastically because of netwk speeds n i notice d connection kips brking recently^{(am sure dey r doing dat on purpose )}

just a reminder, mk reference to d rates frm ur download manager program/software n not starcom's software(e'g SleekAccess)
downloading programs usally gives a close to accurate figure of d rate u r getting at dat moment

i got the usb izap and on saturday when the 1x guys couldn't connect i got about 80kb/s but now sometimes i reach 58kb/s but it is definately slower than the card

I definately wil oh!, d only hitch is dat am on 250hrs so i got 2 watch hw i use d stuf(nt wit all dis brk in transmision recently)
I also feel d speed rates realy depends on d area n nt necesarily d signal strength cos most of dis rates i get dem wen am @ charity-oshodi while it drops wen am @ mafoluku-oshodi even on full bars(tho it reverts 2 x1 & bak in maf.)

this starcomms network problem is getting on my nerves. them no fit just put one evdo mast or radio to enhance coverage? na so the evdo radio cost?

This is what i have been hitting at, this their USB modem is slower than the others and yet its the most expensive. Starcomms una dey fall my hand o!
