Nigeria as a nation has oil, sunshine(throughout the year), countless rivers, trees, green vegetation and many more.
America does not count. . . . .That land(originally) belong to the Red Indians and mostly Mexicans and they are not better than Nigeria.
Look at the Amazon forest in Brazil. . . . .those natural resources cost a fortune but the people are suffering.

Of course we do have genuine rich people (and genuine poor people too) who serve God with sincerity and not for what they hope to obtain from him by force of prayer. The problem is they are too few.

I have also wondered why we don't have hurricanes, no volcanoes, no typhoons and YET are still as backward . . . you can't blame the Nigerian farmer. In developed countries government provides numerous incentives in the form of subsidies, the Nigerian farmer has no way to access credit loans. Where are the import waivers for the poor farmer? How do you expect him to break even when he can't even get cheap fuel to run his farm commercially? Where is the market for his produce when we have cheap food flooding the market?

The day Dangote started importing rice, the local rice industry in nigeria died a slow death.

Its not God's fault, what are our legislators doing in that house of assemble besides constantly increasing their salaries?
