GoNGRMilitary:
SUPPORT OUR TROOPS NOT THE TERRORISTS

At a time like this, when our troops are taking on Boko Haram and their allies, it is important we do not, knowingly or unknowingly, become tools for their propaganda machinery.

As much as the battle is on the field in certain sections of our country, these evil forces seek to control the media and use propaganda to demoralize Nigerians and propagate terror which is what their campaign feeds on.

We must make deliberate effort not to aid their campaign by not helping them spread fear and terror.

The videos they do, the news headlines they sponsor and the lies they propagate, we must not become their channel to propagate it.

Take a cue from the attached picture below. This is the way to handle terrorists and their propaganda campaign.

They seek attention, they seek to spread fear.

We are Nigerians not Boko Haram! We must take on Boko Haram as one.
You may not be in the field with our troop but you have a role to play.

#SupportOurTroops not the terrorists. This must be our song!

Unfortunately, approximately half of Nigerians support the terrorist one way or the other. That's why it's not going away anytime soon.
But they'll be eventually defeated.

Did you notice how those who always abuse the military with each boko haram attack fell silent when the military recorded some victories? Did you notice how the few of them who spoke out during that time spoke of only doubts if the real shekau was murdered? Questioning the victories and some even developed conspiracy theories about how the victories were stage managed to make way for easy PDP campaigns?
Did you notice how these same people suddenly came alive with the next boko haram attack and that fake pre-made shekau video claiming to be alive. None of them questioned the veracity of the shekau videos the way they question the veracity of Nigeria army statements.
FFK was right when he said there are people in this country who rejoice whenever boko haram strikes somewhere.

By the way, kudos to that newspaper that brought the news and not the propaganda.

Truth shall prevail. Come what may cool

I support the Nigerian military to flush out Bokoharam in Nigeria. I support that all pot belly Generals who have been diverting funds made for this war and the welfare of our troops be forced to retire. I also support that operation be set up to rescue all the kidnapped innocents forced into terrorism including Chibok girls.

It's not the people's fault, it's the media and the Web. CNN is very culpable of that here in the US. If it is not ISIS, it is Ebola, if it is not Ebola, it is one person killing someone or kidnapping and raping the other. The media has a hand in spreading these monsters' propaganda. When James Foley was beheaded, the number of hours the media dedicated to that story alone was even more than what they gave to the president's speech. Liveleak.com had a very high number of traffic from people who wanted to view the beheading video, and due to their stupid "rights" to free speech and information here, the authorities couldn't tell them to take it down. Sames goes for the other beheading videos and other atrocities these monsters portray on the media and Internet. But can we blame the media as well? All they care about is the number of viewers and hits their stations and sites get daily. It's all about who gets the "exclusive" first or who gets to release the story first.
