@imperiouxx
Thanks a lot. But you cancel your first interview appointment date, do you have certain number of days before you can see another date. Why I'm this is because it took me roughly five days before seeing another date due to my first reschedule i made. pls one can give me more info on this.
Re: General U.S.A (student) Visa Enquiries by imperiouxx(m): 11:45am On Oct 27, 2011
I don't know about that but I guess that shouldn't disturb you from seeing another dates if they are open.

My SEVIS FEE payment has reflected finally. I just printed the online receipt. Expecting the hard copy soon. Still looking for a Late Nov/Early Dec date for Abuja.

You are good with the online receipt. I doubt the hard copy will ever make its way to you before you go for your interview.

@house,pls,wat does a scholarship offer cover? (2)a scholarship has being awarded to me,and my 1-20 and other docs are due to enter d country 2nd nov.pls,hw do i start my journey to d u.s. Please helppppp, help!!!

@ kuchikau

The extent of a scholarship is not determined by u. It's determined by d body offering it. If it's ur school giving d scholarship, the extent of d scholarship shld have been stated in d letter which notified u of d scholarship offer. However, if for any reason it is not written there, u cld write to d admissions officer inquiring about d extent of d scholarship. Scholarships could be full tuition or partial tuition. Rarely, u might get one that even covers ur living expenses too. The extent of d scholarship shld also be written on ur I-20 form. Hope this helps out.

The problem is that many of you newbies here don't go through some of the previous pages, that why you ask same question that has been answered uncountable times here. At this stage you hardly get someone to start spoon feeding you. Tired ooo.

I don't see any reason why you guys are looking for a way to jump the sevis fee. If you think you can jump, then go ahead but you can't tell me sevis fee is more than your tuition.

@lkyme, going to seme is not too stressful, but is only those border people that will make life miserable for u. Even if u stamp ur passport they will still collect their money, so if u want to save ur money i advise dont stamp it hide it because u will need it when u are making payment, but they might search u. When u get to d border take bike that will cross u, highest 100 naira , u will get to a point where u will ve to walk, if u have national ID and sch ID u can bring it out, but u will still be settling them with 100 to 200 for about 3places b4 u will finally cross. Immediately u cross walk down a bit or continue with the bike that carried u if he is still around. Check ur left hand side, Eco bank is just a stone throw from there. Dont allow anybody to deceive u. I paid one hundred and eight thousand cepha, which is about 37,300 naira so ask for the exchange rate. Today it was 343 cephas to divide whatever u have to convert to a thousand cephas.  dont allow the bike rider to take the illegal route follow the normal route otherwise u will fall into d hands of bandit on d way if u decide to follow d illegal route.
