I think its just an unconscious action, especially 4 those who r really in luv. But some guys and ladies close their eye when kissing cos they r shy or r tryin to avoid eye contact (especially girls).

it cannot be an unconscious reaction, and there are no sympathetic or parasympathetic reactions which are predominantly found only in people in "love".

the only times i need to close my eyes to concentrate is when i'm listening to many people talk at the same time and I want to keep track of all the conversations. If my eyes are open, I tend to focus only on the people I can see. If I close them, I can concentrate on all the different conversations. Every other situation requires my eyes to be open for me to fully concentrate - there is almost no other situation which does not benefit from my visual observation.
