which broswer do you use ?

have you checked if working offline is ticked or not

I can`t download with my internet download manager. I keep getting this `connection closed by server` and some other annoying stuff like that so techies in the house please what`s the solution to this problem?

You can't download because you are using fbt with a server that is getting too many requests and trying to moderate their server load by closing some connections wink

i used to have the the IDM on my system. That was quite some time ago but it was a trial version, valid for 30days after which it stopped working so i deleted it since i could not re-register it then but i just downloaded it again some three days back and successfully got it registered but to get it to download now is the problem.

Dear all,

I posted this a while ago but did not get satisfactory response.

Could there be new knowledge that can assist in resolving the issue?

I recently used bitlocker on my Windows 7 to encrypt a Portable Harddisk but decided to decrypt it when i found out that bitlocker can't be opened in XP.

But halfway through the decryption, i accidentally pulled my laptops cord and it shutdown. When booted again, i can't open the Harddisk When i Try to open bitlocker drive encryption in control panel, it is not responding and also, my computer is not recognising the HD.

What do I do to recover the data in the HD please?

wen DZ problem started I tried removing n putting back both the hard drive n ram. ok I try checking it out on an external monitor but wat I've noticed frm d time I hv been using it is weneva I turn d lappi on d cap-lock light indicator flashes a light in d process of booting, it hasn't been doin tht since dis ish started wat do u it, I do app d help

I just tried putting on my DV6000 laptop, it came on was happy den I tried adjusting d screen it showed blue screen n went off, tried putting it on again, on my third attempt it made two beep sounds on my fifth or sixth attempt it came on. Decided to switch it off, tried putting it on but it just came on but notin else. Notin on d screen

ok my last fews questions:

1.the blue screen you saw did it have words and numbers on it?
2. when you said it went off do you mean the power shut down or the monitor went off again?
3. what do you mean by you tried adjusting the screen? do you mean you tried pressing the buttons to adjust the colors
4. did you plug it into an external monitor? if you did what happened? (did you hold down F8 while pressing Fn to toggle the screen)

so i read a bit more about your laptop and i found that it generally has a lot of issues with the boot and monitor any way read the different fixes that others with your same issue tried hope one of them works for you.

It happens to all my browsers, Internet Explore, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome.
And I've checked, it's not working offline, and I use and MTN fastlink. Paid for not fbt.

Looks to me like malware infection altered your settings. Try to log on through safemode and lets see if you can connect.

Get to safemode by pressing F8 key continuously when your system starts.

Hello friends, my pc just started dumping memory as soon as it  boots up to desktop. As soon as it dumps memory it goes off saying some incompatibility is found, but I never made any hardware or software changes on my PC. Please I need help. It is a Desktop PC, Athlon AMD with windows XP. Thanks in advance.

I need advice on what sort a lappy i'd need , or specifically, what elements i should look out for in choosing a laptop that'll seemlessly handle heavy graphics work. I cant use desktops now 'cause im very mobile. outside Apple, what PCs can "stay in the kitchen?"

HELP HELP HELP, I cant upload with my laptop. I tried uploading my credentials to one website but all to no avail. An error message was what i saw,it reads like this; 'open uploadtester.asp to edit bla bla bla' i cant get the lines straight now,but i know is something like this.
Please can someone help me on how to fix it, i surf the net with mtn.
