So I did my hydrotubation(sono) today.also known as "flushing" of my fallopian tubes. Hmmm! E pain me sha. Buh the saline solution opened the tubes. I watched the screen monitor as the procedure took place. After 2 attempts. The solutions flowed freely thru my tubes and d radiologist kept flushin and flushin till I screamed blue murder. She said she's just repeating it in order to be satisfied. So, na so I lie 4 there till she got "satisfied".
I stil feel some mild pain buh I was assured that all is now well as per my fallopian tubes. The procedure cost abt 18k, medication inclusive.

By God's grace, I'l announce my bfp soon. Amen!

D fact dt u screamed shows dt it is painful and Ȋ̝̊̅ so don't want anymore pains. Pls did u use any drugs before the procedure? D last time Ȋ̝̊̅ did d Hsg some yrs back, d pain was bearable at first but later...e reach part 2. Am glad ur tubes r now free. Was told dt one of mine is distally occluded.

@lizzy, yeah I was given some painkillers before d procedure and an injection, after.

Well, it might not be thaaat painful when u undergo it cos me, am a cry cry baby oh! Even injection, I will wail.
My mum is a matron and I had my fair share of malaria injections as a child. To d extent that my mum would chase me round the building in order to give me injection. Neighbours even join in sef! Lol!
So dnt fret sis, it is well. At least u'l know u've climbed that hurdle.

I stumbled on this thread just out of interest and I've followed silently.
Took me a while to join and I kept forgetting my username or password!
Like I shared in the other TTC thread, it took us 5yrs before our cute daughter arrived.
we used to live in South Africa at the time and the doctors had said it was impossible for me to conceive naturally
due to blocked fallopian tubes.
We eventually decided to go the IVF route in the 4th yr but 3wks to our appointment, I discovered I was like 5wks pregnant.
while waiting for our appointment, I was recommended to buy a product called INOFOLIC (it's in individual sachets and u just dissolve in water).
U can google and read about the product. It's sold in Clicks Pharmacy or Dischem in South Africa @ about R280.

Please d dose is just 1tab a day either morning or evening. The lady dat took it told me 1tab daily even though I unknowingly started with 2tabs but she corrected and I changed. Please 2tabs am and pm is highly overdose dat is 4000g per day. What we nid is just 1000g daily. Am happy you got it and I pray you will be pleasantly surprised. Make sure your dh takes it everyday o men really really need daily vit e even if their SA is okay. When I took overdose I noticed dat I had a small blister on my tongue and it stopped immediately I reverted to taking 1daily. Please where did you buy your own?
