That is just a counterfeit and is not an original US Army uniform. In SA there is no shop which sells SANDF uniform and the army recovers it to anyone seen wearing it in public. The reason why such is done is because there were incidents in the past about people who pretended to be soldiers in disguise of robbing other people of their cars, property and money.

This your information is outdated. There are many British who visit South Africa everyday and many of them have even bought themselves beach houses in Cape Town and Durban. For your information, the Brits prefer to have South African citizenship and have made it their norm ever since.
