LOL, OGA IF YOU APPLY SMALL SENSE YOU'LL SEE THE STATEMENT TRANSLATE TO "BEING SUCCESSFUL, OR MAKING IT IN LIFE ISN'T EASY".

If you keep the sense you think you have to share you will see that being a man on any level is a disadvantage on our society.

Even in crime, women robbers are not lynched as compared to men. Even the law is partial to women, their sentence are always less.

During nysc soldiers caught some girls doing Lesbos stuff, nothing happened, if it were gays, hell will let loose.

Even people don't mind Lesbos but will burn gays at the stake.

Fact being a man is harder. Whether to succeed or just be okay.

The richest woman in Nigeria, what did she do to get her oil block?

Protector, Provider, Priest. When you realise how difficult it is to build cities, empires, whole civilizations and sustain them through strength, innovation and intelligence, if you come to terms with how daunting it is to create something outside yourself, to bend the forces of nature to your own will, then you'd realise how much truth is contained in that statement.

All the great historic civilizations were built by men: we built cities from ancient Egypt to Babylon to Greece to modern empires like the British empire and America. Almost all scientific inventions were brought about by men, we beat paths through thick forests to create pliable roads, we dredged the rivers and drove the waters to irrigate fields, we cut through hard and unyielding rock, turned crags and deserts into verdant palaces of beauty. Almost all the great philosophers, painters, writers, musicians, inspired bards were men from times past till date (not denying that here and there you won't find women who do this things but on the whole, by a vast proportion men predominate). Yet we do this things out of a secret sense of gratitude to the woman for being the source of life, we do it to protect her, to keep her warm, to provide for her and to win her love and procreate with her so that our specie will continue. It's wired in our DNA to do it. We even do it without complaining.

"If civilization had been left in female hands we would still be living in grass huts" - Camille Paglia renowned feminist.

To be a man is war.

No doubt being a woman has its own challenges and that's why this needless battle of the sexes engineered by crazed people should end. If it continues it would mark the demise of our specie.

Let men pack up just for one day and see if civilization as we know it will not crumble. If women do the same life will go on just fine-even right now men are trying to invent how to make babies without women.

Let each sex recognise it's place. All this attempts to cross over no go work. Even in nature male species are generally bigger, faster and stronger. We want to use thinking to alter nature. Truth is that it's possible to do so but the ensuing chaos will be inevitable.

Amarabae, Take my words for it.

You are an idiot and a very foolish human.

I think your ovaries should rot completely there in your stomach or your fallopian tubes should get twisted or God should crown you with barreness because you don't deserve to be a wife or a mother in this life.

I wonder the kind of an effeminate man you have as a husband.

It beats my imagination how so much foolishness can be embedded in someone with a noble profession.

I wonder how you really managed to get yourself a nursing degree.

You don't sound learned or intelligent at all.

You are really-really a very foolish and mentally unstable person.

Always out to have issues with men, is that what you do for a living as a "nurse"?

I weep on behalf of your unlucky husband.

On Nairaland, some people use their phones to watch porn. Some use their phones to e-fight. Some use their phones to show how intelligent they are. Some use it to ass-lick while some use it to make legit money. Money that will keep coming every month and from year to year.

That is all I have to say. Be wise. This is not to show you, but to encourage you to turn your phone to legal wealth. Google and YouTube are there to learn all you need.

Ever wondered why most contemporary men are weaklings and emasculated? That's the kind of men feminism produces. In nature you cannot have two strong active principles. The male principle is the strong, active, giving and direct principle. The female principle is passive, receiving, soft principle. This is how untainted nature is. But since feminism essentially or by implication means that women are no longer to be soft and passive, men have to become soft and passive. Nature always seeks to maintain the balance. Is it not the hard penis that penetrates the soft vagina? Think beyond the sex organs as mere biological instruments. They are metaphors for how men are and how women are and how both sexes must combine to create not just life but anything.

But Feminism says no to this natural arrangement.

I can't remember who said this but I read it once: Feminism is the liberation of the masculine in women and the liberation of the feminine in men.

The liberation has been achieved: Enjoy your contemporary weak, emasculated, sissified men.

A society in which women are taught anything but the management of a family, the care of men, and the creation of the future generation is a society which is on its way out. … The historian can peg the point where a society begins its sharpest decline at the instant when women begin to take part.

The French Economic Philosopher, Jules Simon said, "Women have started to work in Textile factories and printing presses etc...
The government is employing them in factories, where they can earn a few francs. But on the other hand, THIS HAS TOTALLY DESTROYED THE BASES OF FAMILY LIFE. Yes, the husband may benefit from his wife's earnings, but apart from that, his earnings have decreased because now he is competing with her for work."

Your dogmatic nature is why you think her question was stupid. Instead of dealing with the subject, you chose to attack the messenger. I guess being a man is hard 'cause virtual hasn't worked for you yet. Actually, life isn't fair to us all; male or female, so that expression is subject for questioning. Last time I checked, some women are breadwinners. Shouldn't we just say being a man/woman isn't easy? We are no longer in the era where women were only house keepers and I guess the propounder of that statement didn't think the world would evolve.
