It's often said that behind every successful man is a woman but I say behind every successful woman are PLENTY MEN!
We can still say in front of every successful woman stands a man.
I doubt with relevant examples that "behind every successful man, there is a woman".
That joke is stale.

Behind every successful man there are very many battling unsuccessful years of struggle.

Learn to communicate like an adult if you are one.

But if you are not, stop meddling in things you do not understand.

Only little boys think everything is about f.....g when it comes to women.

grin Bro, CIVILIZATION ORIGINATED BY A WOMAN?!

Even the term “FEMINISM” with which these 'CIVILIZED WOMEN' pride themselves today by FACT originated from the French word “feminisme,” COINED by the utopian socialist CHARLES FOURIER, ........A MAN! A man whose dream of an Utopian society is the illusion called 'EQUALITY'!

* I don't do gender wars. Am for uniting men and women in TRUTH. Some ladies need to stop living in FALLACIES OF COMPOSITIONS.

Civilization as we know It would crumble. Women don't build.

Stop blaming men for your woes. We are all responsible-men and women - for the chaos playing out now. Imagine if men starting crying all over the place that they want to have wombs, give birth like women, menstruate and do all things women do.

Get this into your deepest heart: men do not contest with women. Just by the fact that women are the life givers, carriers of the womb they are high up and
should be so honoured.

Feminism has nothing to do with women. It's a psych op. It's cultural Marxism.

By nature I detest anything that has an 'ism'.

It's the stupidest war ever fought. And women are likely to win because men are not wired to do battle with women. Just by constant whining and nagging a woman will break a man's spirit more than the blows of his fellow man. Women will likely win as things stand now but when they've won it would be their destruction and ours.

Amara you are sounding more feminist these days.
To be a man isn't really easy.

Can a lady go hungry for complete whole day knowing nobody is ready to lend you a thousand naira? Not possible except the lady has no male friend who has a 1000 naira.

That's a simple example above
Bro, Sense tie you bomb..Your head dey there..

Very apt and intelligent comment. Men who are failures also have women behind them. That statement of women being behind successful men is an half truth and half truths are dangerous

Quite illuminating.

Once women stooped and they conquered. Now they stand aloof and are defeated. How ironic

Most of these young women espousing feminism have not even the slightest clue about the underpinnings and ends of feminism. Some cannot even mention a single renowned feminist yet they are champions of feminism, fighting the men in their lives with weapons forged by people whom they do not know. It's not feminism that angers me, it's the ignorance of its proponents here on nairaland that sickens me.

Really pitiful.

Amarabae, Take my words for it.

You are an idiot and a very foolish human.

I think your ovaries should rot completely there in your stomach or your fallopian tubes should get twisted or God should crown you with barreness because you don't deserve to be a wife or a mother in this life.

I wonder the kind of an effeminate man you have as a husband.

It beats my imagination how so much foolishness can be embedded in someone with a noble profession.

I wonder how you really managed to get yourself a nursing degree.

You don't sound learned or intelligent at all.

You are really-really a very foolish and mentally unstable person.

Always out to have issues with men, is that what you do for a living as a "nurse"?

I weep on behalf of your unlucky husband.
lol.......... Please pity her, allow her to enjoy her bitterness

Although I know very little about people in my environment, I started thinking in my head how many families I know that d woman is d bread winner and out of d much I could think of, only one comes to mind.
So the statement baffles me.
She has a point but 60% is just too high.
