Moderators are arbiters who only work with available evidence. If anybody insults another but the post is not reported, the moderator may not take action but when a poster is severally reported by others as a troublemaker then unfortunately the moderator will need to crack down on that one. The Yorubas say "Eni ti won ba mu ni ole" i.e. only the one who gets caught is deemed guilty: the unwieldy hand of justice. I guess maybe Mudley should also report posts that offend him rather than attacking the offenders in turn.

i must admit it's a little encouraging to see an actual nigerian attempt to take an IMPARTIAL stand on this christian-bias-infested boards. this matter is as inconsequential to you as it is to me but it's quite nauseating to see how the play of christian/buddy poster favoritism, despotic type power-politics and outright bias is being carried out here. just read through the thread and see the buddy-buddy going on amongst dem christian folks with discussions (involving the mod) centered on how best to get rid of people with differing opinions. it's funny how mr. dulcet7 has deliberately tried to ignore all contrary evidences of how my threads were rashly and unfairly locked due to the mods personal sensitivity and bias while hanging on to whatever he can to portray me as the guilty party, like he's some kind of personal lawyer for jesoul. they're countless posts here of christians desecrating (according to dulcet7) allah and islam as a religion of the devil, countless posts depicting muhammad as a terrorist and craddle-robber, etc i even gave a good example of the "to all mumu atheist" thread from a christian with an actual insult/curse word on the title itself but arrogantly intolerant christians only wanna see things their way, and pretend to be blind to anything contrary. is this how christianity works?

well, i just did that to test the bias of the mods (and in turn point out the double standards that unfairly got my mudley313 id banned). Your last two topics (Santa versus God and God Is An Epic Troll) is what really caused this problem. Both topics raised questions which i thought were funny but (later realized) that Chrisitans found very offensive. I noticed that two people in pacticular who were offended by you ridiculing their belief system did not bother to come up with answers to questions you posed in both your topics just took to dearailing both topics and launching personal attacks on you instead.

Me who had been following everything did notice how you tried to keep your cool and ignore them. But at times you did retaliate so when i deleted some of their posts i had to delete some of yours. They even followed you and attack you on nearly every topic that you posted in.

JeSoul (who locked both your topics) is on one side of the coin and i am on the other. So it is a lot easier for me to see things from your point of view than it is for her. I who have been monitoring both topics from the start (just like you) know the whole truth.  Two other people should've been banned instead of you.

But then wetin don happen don happen. Theres nothing i can do about it now. I see you as a militant atheist which means you come over as agressive and combative. That could be the reason why some people don't like you. I suggest you cool down bbecause i wouldn't like something like this to happen again.

*now to the mods* the punishment I and Mudley were apropos to the regulations of Nairaland forum. But Mudley has a germane point; toba was let off the hook and I want to know why. i personally dont believe mods should take sides whether muslim, christian, or atheist. even though we all have our own personal biases but once you accept the job of being a moderator you should be able to separate your biases from how you impartially resolve issues here. the only advantage i would give you is that you were the mod who was there from the very start but once jesoul logged in she rashly jumped into her own preconceived/bias conclusion unfairly handing a ban to screen names she dont like while conveniently overlooking the main cause of all the brohaha. her buddy TOBA

And furthermore the differences are not 'religious based' as I am buddies with atheists, deists etc here and even ogaga the satanist - we never clash or fight - its all about respecting one another inspite of those differences. Edit: Uyi, I just saw your question. Toba was banned along with yourself and inesqor - your bans were hourly bans which is why he was back 'so quickly'. Bans are given based on the current issue as well as history/past behavior.

Let's wait and see if mr Mudley will behave himself in the future. I will give the benefit of a doubt, albeit something I'm skeptical about

Yes, it would seem so. I am also aware of the deficiencies of the current search function, but trust me, it is waay better than the yahoo that was there before.

Thanks so much JeSoul. Meanwhile I have also found out I cant upload on youtube because the videos are too large and even if compressed, they are 30 mins long (exceeds youtube specs). I will keep looking.

I'm resigned on religious matters but I'd like to see those videos of yours. I'm curious. You could re-format the videos into little manageable chunks and label them serially and then upload them. Open a youtube account if you don't already have one so they can be catalogued somewhat.
