chamotex: Very crucial the outcome of the game at the Lane --- hopefully the result of tomorrow's game will favor us with some breathing space! |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by cougar1: 1:06am On Jan 05, 2011 |
RuuDie: i am not worried about spurs. play vds, rafael, vidic, rio, evra, carrick, anderson, fletcher, victoria beckham, genevieve nnaji and pope benedict and we will beat tottenham. the key is having a solid defence and an impenetrable midfield. it doesn't matter who starts in the attack. ohhh, i forgot we have chicharito who can also come off the bench and nick a winner. the mexican was born to score goals. |

Hernandez HAS to be the bargain of the season so far by far. For someone with so little reputation outside Mexico,I have to say he is proving every cent spent on him as justified. Van der Vaart is having a great season at Spurs but he's not really surprising anybody, given that he played well for Real last season. |

tkb417:Bulls-eye. The FA Cup to me is just another competition to stretch the legs. . .it lost its appeal to me in 2000 when United refused to defend it in preference to the inaugural World Club Championship. |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by tkb417(m): 9:47am On Jan 05, 2011 |
A win against Spurs will separate us from the pretenders! We should field a 2nd team against Liverpool. If they like, they beat us 10-0 Spurs game is a must win for us |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by Nobody: 9:59am On Jan 05, 2011 |
tkb417:Not necessarily, but a win against Spurs should give us a boost. I wouldn't necessarily see it as a must-win game ,knowing how tough they've become and also, the game is coming a bit earlier in the season to be termed "must-win" in my book.I'll be fine with a draw there, but I'd like a win. Having said that,it's an important game all the same-all games from now on are important.Heard we play Stoke the day of the CC semi-finals. |

Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by cougar1: 11:00am On Jan 05, 2011 |
mbulela: why is everyone on neville's back? he didn't select himself to start, fergie did. fergie confessed if he bases his selection on what he sees on the pitch, players like giggs, neville and scholes are past it but these players have shown him enough loyalty to justify their starts so i expect fergie to keep playing them till they are 40 yrs of age. fergie went on to say the three players are the bedrock of man utd - which you cannot argue against. |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by presido1: 11:07am On Jan 05, 2011 |
mbulela:He signed one yr extension yesterday. . Nice win last nite. Smalling has finally pushed Evans to the sideline. Hope he continues like this. HNIC:And he will definitely finish the game victorious. Citeh will share the points with you tonite. But i will like you to win cos your winning does not matter. cou-gar:Let him be prepared to kiss the tittle goodbye if he insist on rewarding loyalty. Scholes and Giggs i gat no problem but Gary is a no no. He can come in when we are leading with a comfortable goal margin as he is a calamity waiting to happen |

I really dont care about the FA Cup but I'd rather not lose to the Scousers. |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by cougar1: 11:19am On Jan 05, 2011 |
Mr_TA: the league is almost in the bag. it's been a while we won the fa cup(the last time arsenal won their league title). anyways, knowing united are usually stronger in the 2nd half of the season, it will take a monumental capitulation for chelsea or citeh to take it from us. 09/10 - half 1 - P: 19 W: 13 D: 1 L: 5 GF: 39 GA: 18 Pts: 40 09/10 - half 2 - P: 19 W: 14 D: 3 L: 2 GF: 47 GA: 10 Pts: 45 10/11 - half 1 - P: 19 W: 11 D: 8 L: 0 GF: 41 GA: 18 Pts: 41 10/11 - half 2 - P: 01 W: 01 D: 0 L: 0 GF: 02 GA: 01 Pts: 03 if we can replicate the second half of last season, then liverpool's proud record in the domestic league is under a massive threat. |

cou-gar:in January Just like Nani said. . . 'we would win without losing' I like this confidence coming outta the Manure camp. Let us wait and see! cou-gar: cou-gar:All this 2nd half,2nd period,2nd quarter thing. . . . . We will see this season . . . . |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by cougar1: 9:34pm On Jan 05, 2011 |
HNIC: shut up your mouth. . . . .nani said he hopes united can win it without a defeat. he never said united would win without losing. that is how you lethargic gaynners put words into the mouth of players.
what are you seeing? arsenal have been beaten already. there's nothing else to see. yes - i said if united can replicate 2nd half of last season. and that means losing twice and drawing thrice - i don't expect the lads to go unbeaten - i expect them to win the title. |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by MrTA(m): 10:40pm On Jan 05, 2011 |
Dont care about unbeaten season its all about the title. What a wonderful set of results for us this evening. Absolutely fantastic. |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by debosky(m): 10:42pm On Jan 05, 2011 |
I think it's safe to say the title is Utd's to lose. Mancini nor go die well. |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by cougar1: 10:44pm On Jan 05, 2011 |
Mr_TA: sir alex ferguson remortgages his soul to the devil once again tonight. |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by MrTA(m): 10:48pm On Jan 05, 2011 |
lol, I reckon he even added his son's soul to the deal. |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by cougar1: 10:51pm On Jan 05, 2011 |
Mr_TA: sometimes i think we underrate what fergie represents at old trafford. this is one of the worst united teams ever and fergie is working wonders with what he's got with brilliant squad management and smart purchases. how much is javier hernandez worth now in the transfer market? rafael da silva? luis nani? hats off for ferguson. he is the best at what he does. |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by Emperoh(m): 11:42pm On Jan 05, 2011 |
^^^^^ Thank God points are not humans!! Some Gaynners for don export kidnapping to the EPL!!! The coast is getting clearer!! I dey put my DJ request on Shessy thread!!! When Fergie mortaged his soul, the Devil granted his request and added hari dryer treatment to the package!!! |

debosky: blame mancini or blame your flops. arsenal played at home, didn't they? |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by tkb417(m): 12:41am On Jan 06, 2011 |
Good gameweek for us They all dropped points. I hope we follow up with a win over Spurs. Yeah a victory over Spurs would tilt the title towards us @Presido If SAF wants to reward loyalty, he should probably re-sign Steve Bruce or Ole Gunner. *smh* Gary is USELESS to our aspirations. He shd fckin resign. VDS at his age is still very useful same with Giggs and Scholes. Gary? Sorry, dude is passed it |

And d goalkeeper of the decade award goes to Buffon! Cassilas 2nd and our dear VDS 3rd I can remember one of those noise makers calling VDS an average goalie. Well, he just added another feather to his cap |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by Nobody: 7:58am On Jan 06, 2011 |
tkb417:Thank you. cou-gar:No point arguing with someone whose mentality is fault-finding by default. Add that to being a Gunner,(which translates to brainlessness by default),and you have a no-brainer. |
