Unknown someone keeps sending money to my diamond access bank, this is the second time am recieving money to my account, which is 30,290 & 30,136 naira and the text on the remark is a foreign name.

At first i got alert of 30,260 with remark "Stepan zemalek", at first i thought someone mistakenly sent money to my account, i said lemme wait if i will receive a call from someone claiming the money but nobody called to claim the money, not knowing that my bank have deducted 530 naira for sms fee nd 200 naira for stamp nd postal fee, i have to transfer the money the money to my rubies bank account with the hope somebody will call me nd claim the money.

Secondly, i got another alert of 30,136 with the remark saying "Jaonna LiebeltEtzler/18.9.20".

I dont remember giving anybody my bank details apart from my mom nd uncles, i have called my bank customer care to complain about it and to know who sent the money from my account but he said he cant disclose the information to me. i have complained to the bank and the keep saying their normal bla bla.

I need help on what to do next....below is the screenshot of the alert...

The money is coming from a foreign country, it's best you try to recollect who you gave your account details to.
For now, I don't think there will be any issue or complaints from your bank yet... Until maybe when the payment tends to increase... The bank will eventually flag your account for fraud.

Go to police station and make a report. Endeavour to write a statement.

Ensure you get a copy maybe by snapping it with your phone.


Trouble will come but with the police statement, you will be free.

Also sent an email to your bank.


This two things will save you in future.

Finally, don't spend the money.

Visit any Access bank branch and make a formal complaint, because when the real owner complains, you will pay!

On a more serious note, did you give anyone your BVN of late? But since you've lodged a complain at the bank and they seem helpless about it, maybe you should.... I don't know. Just be careful though.

Don't mind those terming it blessings o... Na express dem de push you enter so... Report to the police asap and also make a report to efcc because, obviously, someone somewhere is using your account for fraud. Forget your bank, when the chips are down, na dem go first deny you.

Please escalate this issue now before you start getting story that touches the heart. Just as CORDROSS posted, Send a mail to the corporate complaints mail of your bank detailing everything including the response from the customer care agent (for all i care, he/she may be aiding an abating the criminal responsible for the issue on your account), do well to copy the CBN via cpd@cbn.gov.ng or you can choose to file an online complaint via this https://www.cbn.gov.ng/Contacts/Complaints/

Please find the above response resourceful.

Trustwallet please follow this advise, write to the bank official email or habd written letter and copy the CBN complaibing about the transfer you no nothing about and keep acknowledgement copy (that's why the hardcopy letter is very important).

Do not spend that money.

One day kasala go burst and you have to prove say ya hand no dey inside at all.

Search your account number on google.

You better go and make an official complaint to the police at the nearest police station and maybe request for a report or an extract from there book of entry. This is a delicate issue. You need to be careful. You will be totally free of any implications if the law enforcement agents are officially involved. God almighty will protect you. Amen

It's not blessing o.. It might just be someone who stole money and trying to spread it out.. DSS can come for you actually if that's the case...
