OK - on a serious NOTE

Let's get a committee together - first things first

Not too large, not too small

mixed ages

mixed gender

A 10 person panel sounds good for something of this size -  our first gathering should be the month of December because more people will be in Lagos at that time (assumably)

Then we will put together an agenda:
city location
event duration (1 day or multiple events over a weekend)
interview talent for the talent contest
contact performers (bands, soloists, actors, etc)
additional ideas

I still think having this gathering at 3 different locations in the world would be the best bet

The US could have theirs in New york

UK their's in London

And Nigeria their's in either Abuja which would be more matured or lagos

There might be No need for getting musicians and those things

Just a social place where people could meet, have drink's, talk and interact

You are seriously not wanting 2 hold a hugh party cos its gonna get gate crashed

Someone like Born2fuck could come into the arena with his 704 crew from the sexuality section and violation

That's very, very kind and sweet of you.  For accountability sake as donations will be what will fuel this event (donations of everybody's time and money) - prior to accepting donations, we will have to open a bank account (if it isn't done right - I don't involve myself) to track $ and expenditures

we should collect enough $ to fuel the event, reserve the space for the following year and retain a small amount to keep the account open and any monies collected that exceed the costs of the above - the balance should be given to assist the poor of the city that hosts that gathering that year. (Lagos, Abuja, etc)

Since NL is a Nigerian specific website - I feel that the event should remain in Nigeria - just be hosted in different areas of Nigeria to assist Nigerians.

Bruh, there's nothin bad organizing & doing the party in lagos but it aint gonna work since many members only on romance section claimed to live in abroad thats d reason why i suggest the states.

I have been giving gathering/parties for years - fantastic, simple, detailed, over-the-top, basic, etc.

you will have a great time!  when i am done with you - you won't even think about bare bosoms you will be laughing sooo hard and having a great time

it could be over one weekend and they can visit family during the holidays - it would be something they can attend while in Lagos that is why it would be planned for when most people go home for the holidays
