Is it just me? Ribadu seems very clueless and naive. Shekarau is the only one making sense.

Ribadu eventually made a little sense about creating security and a business-friendly climate for foreign investors to boost economy. That's after Chimamanda actually said his answers were too vague.

Yes , he did well there but I would still like to see one of these guys mention the SME sector because it is the backbone of any Country's economic greatness and progress. Laudable Ribadu mentioned employment but he should know that the SME is the biggest employer of Labour in most advanced Countries eg the UK. I think a Presidential candidate must understand the how vital the SME sector is . Put simply , if the sector boomes and succeed then nigeria booms and succeed also.

LOL. "They would go to the embassy with their passport". Doesn't have to be that complicated. I like her. Shekarau rambled after that obvious point was made.

Ribadu like Superman will do everything. I will do it, I will pursue it, grin
Re: Official Thread For What About Us? Presidential Debate by SkyBlue1: 9:59pm On Mar 25, 2011
Ribadu how are you a member of the diaspora? LOL. I really like her.

After this debate, I have come to the conclusion that women should lead us.  angry

I really just feel sorry for Nigeria. I can't believe the (including absent Jonathan and Buhari) are our options. Dele even seems the strongest candidate in the debate.

I agree. I'm embarrassed for my people.

The hope though is that we get someone who can choose the right people and make sure they get the job done. These people are simply uninspiring. I'm sorry.

BTW, Shekarau basically goofed with the Diaspora vote answer, I feel so sorry for him.

Chimamanda killed his tongue with that simple retort; They have passports. undecided

It is only you . Ribadu is not brilliant today but none of them are . In fact Shekarau is doing nowhere near as good as he did last week . He has been vague on virtually everything . I don't think others see the "sense" you claim he is making .

Dele Momodu talked about providing credit for business start ups and the mortgage system.

One of them talked about putting the bulk of the responsibilty for driving the economy on the private sector. The thing is they don't say HOW.

I seriously do not see any sustainable change coming from any of these guys at all.

- Ribadu has too many "out of the blues" ideas, and he is not being realistic enough.
- In vast contrast, Shekerau is being too pessimistic. He represents business as usual. So much talk, no action points.
- Dele Momodu sounds like he just wants to party  grin

That bell ringer must have smoked something funny, what is wrong with him? You are ringing debate bell not town crier gong. gosh. lol

Momodu is a clown and a big F-O-O-L!!!!

He precedes all his replies with ''I've done it before'', ''I've been to so so country before'',  bla bla bla

Has anyone noticed he's not going round the country to campaign and he thinks he'll become President just by appearing on Teju Baby Face Show and some debates?

The minute we say women should lead us , because a few men are performing poorly in a debate , is the minute we are practising discrimination. Let the best Nigerians lead . Men or women.

Can't we get HD clarity on this debate?

Kano is the freeest state? Na lie.

No mind Shekarau, all talk. . .

Kano enforces a draconian, primitive censorship law that drove film/movie makers out of Kano!

or his Hisbau Police harassing people?

Shekarau is a sweet talking comedian.
Re: Official Thread For What About Us? Presidential Debate by Gbawe: 10:10pm On Mar 25, 2011
Ribadu does well here . Finally talks about the SME's as a way to improve the lives of Nigerians . Provide capital for the small scale sector and empower them with specialist assistance from specific support groups. Target the prevalent regional occupations i.e farming , fishery, etc .
Re: Official Thread For What About Us? Presidential Debate by Nobody: 10:11pm On Mar 25, 2011
Momodu will add running for the office of the president to his resume as one of his achievements. Can't stop laughing…….

In all honesty education is not everything. It is not a corollary to success,we have seen folks who never saw the four walls of a school & have made something out of their lives
