thebosstrevor1: 1. Oil well was captured by Biafran Soldiers during the war. It was in 1969. So lying that Biafra took over oil well being reason for Biafra war shows that the North can't say anything truthful. 2. A person from Biafra origin was the president of Nigeria, Tarawa Balewa was the prime minister. He was overthrown by the Nigerian Army and not the Igbos. If not, Aguiyi wouldn't have been recognised as a military head of state in Nigeria history. 3. The Anti Igbo Progrom/ Genocide was carried out by both military and civilian of Northern origin. In a sane society that Aguiyi was recognised as head of state, the soldiers would have faced charges for mutiny and murder. But no. You guys were on killing spree. Killing innocent people instead of facing the soldiers that killed the people you mentioned. That is Genocide. You still didn't stop after you killed the head of state, Aguiyi, that benefited from the coup that led to the death of the people you mentioned. That is Genocide. You took over properties of people you killed. That is Genocide. Mind you, the civil war has not started when all these were going on. So define genocide again. 4. Genocide is not the war. The war started after Ojukwu declared the eastern region republic of Biafra. Why did he declare the republic of Biafra? Because of the Genocide going on. The declaration halted the genocide giving the remnants that escaped to and those in the east to take a stand against the government of Gowon that benefited from the coup that killed Aguiyi. You can only do propaganda against the Igbo. But deep down, you know the truth. No matter what the Igbo people have gone through, they still remain a group you can't compete with on a level playing ground. The only weapon the north has is population you people gained from religious manipulation of your people. 1 Like |

thesolutions: 1. Nigerian oil was captured by biafra and Nigeria took what belongs to her. 2. The coup was organized by an igbo man who killed tafawa and let his own kinsman Nnamdi Azikiwe alone. If the coup does not have a tribal underling, how come no igbo leaders were killed. 3. It is not genocide when the igbos massacre northern leaders and killed southern leaders but it is genocide when a backlash happens on igbos. You can not project the truth to me, your one sided and bias history is not the truth to me. 1 Like |

freshvine: To answer your question. The political elite of the south east, do not want to leave Nigeria, but ipob terrorist group want to leave Nigeria with Nigeria's oil. Most igbo will lose out if they leave Nigeria, the igbo business men and traders know that, they are the ones scattered all over Nigeria doing business. |

Investigative: Answer the question he put forward If 5 million igbos were killed during the civil war then where were they killed? If 5 million igbo were killed, how come the igbo population demography didn't change? |
