hello guys! i've gone for the interview today.. I was interviewed buy an old German woman upstairs. Everything went fine except for the fact that the woman flares up whenever i gave answers she didn't seem fit for the questions being asked.

I guess the way we interprete questions are quite different from the way the Germans do. I also noticed the Germans to be direct, they don't like being flattered or reminded of their achievements. All the german men i saw at the embassy were very nice, smile at you, help you with stuff that you're not familiar with.. etc., but the woman almost changed my perspevtive about them sha.. she was kinda' rude. I almost attributed her attitude with racism but i'm not the kind of person the jumps into conclusion so i'll settle for "rude".

I got all her questions right except when she asked about how the structure of my program is, i thought she meant modules so i was telling her the courses i'll be doing lol.. I just hope that this alone won't affect the visa approval anyway. My passport got stamped and she said they'll get back to me. I took off immediately!

Bottom line is that it went fine (or so i think), thanks to all those that wished me luck.

Fill it in using the computer and then print it out. Leave the part for the signature to be signed at the German embassy (that's what I did) when you go to have the passport copy and bank forms authenticated.

I was interviewed by the same woman.i guess she has alot to do within a short time.she prefered yes or no answer and she doesnt want ur compliment.

I was fortunate to understand her before the interview.even the receptionist there says her interview is very fast.

@all pls dont go to german embassy without adequate preparation.

Her question was based on the following
-purpose of travelling.
-study program,structure and curriculum.
-your sponsor(occupation)
-location of your school.
-intension after studies.
-accomodation.

I am a sis. The form you fill in for opening a blocked bank account in Germany...it has to be certified/authenticated by the German embassy in your country, including your passport copy.

of course, you will be allowed a withdrawal of 670 euros per month

Yes but only 670 euros per month for one year. So if you use up all the 670 euros in a month and want to withdraw more money from your account within that same month, you won't be allowed to do so until the following month...that's why it's called a blocked account.

just tell them the truth... I actually already paid for accommodation before my interview so I told the VO about it in a conversational manner.... she was friendly (it was not that elderly woman)

About the accommodation ish,during my interview i was asked the same question and i simply told the lady that i am going to stay in an hotel firstly pending the time i get a nice and suitable accommodation which i think will work well for everyone,since Germany is a new place to you and probably you told them you don't have a family or relative in Germany,then are you suppose to be stranded?
