Until now---the Moscow Stock Exchange still remains closed until further notice---if Russia is sure of their economic stance---they should try and open it for just few hours---

The sanction thing works like a fight between a billion-dollar conglomerate and a tiny company.
Using Nigeria as an instance, Dangote conglomerate can stop buying sugar cane from a major farmer in Jos, and also influence other buyers not to buy the farmer's produce. To make up the shortfall, it could invest in farmers in Cameroon or Benin to supply it with Sugar cane.

Of course the farmer can fight back by refusing to buy Dangote cement for his one-room shack construction project. However in reality, Dangote can ruin the farmer by blocking 100% of its income while the farmer cannot even hurt 1% of Dangote's business in Jos alone.

Russia is about the size of Texas's economy. Worse still, it is not as innovative as Japan in high-tech goods critically needed in the USA. Therefore, it has almost nothing EXCEPT GAS! Unfortunately, it cannot afford to stop selling its oil and gas because 100% of its income comes from there too. Not to mention that USA has its own abundant oil and gas supplies too.
If Iran, Venezuela can survive the sanction placed on them why won't Russia survive it? Mind you despite the sanction American government and other European Nation's are still buying oil and gas from Russia.

Hahahha, what exactly did they ban that could as much as affect the British economy?
Did the items mentioned seem to you of any significant economic impact to an advanced country like Britain?
Russia that exports raw materials only to import the finished goods of those materials.
Deal with it, Russia has a relatively a weak economy and only ahead of Nigeria in technology and market share of the sale of natural resources.

I don't think so, he knew all this would happen before he started the war so i believe he knew the risks involved and was willing to take it. The US from beginning was always afraid of Russia and China bcs it believe their economy would pass theirs, this sanctions on Russia would even make Dem more stronger... At first it would fall it's normal but with time you will see them gain their feet back

Lol maybe Russia will suffer, I mean they have been suffering already form already imposed sanctions. But UK will still feel the hit. You might not know what a trade deal of 15billion can do to a countries economy. But their currency will be affected.
