Nobody fit talk say him mama food no sweet. Once the leader is from your tribe, you will defend him. But let's for once call a spade a spade; this government is not favourable at all sad

This is for small, unenlightened minds, and the sad fact is that this is how the overwhelming majority of Nigerians think.

And this is the same reason Nigeria cannot make any reasonable progress to join our counterparts in the 21st century.

Until we have a majority of Nigerians become enlightened (not talking about "educated"wink and until we customise this so-called "democracy" to fit out peculiarities as a people, we will remain in the 19th century.

I rest my case.

They want the people to pray for God intervention, but they will not tell the people that God does not meddle directly with the affairs of man.

When a man prays to God, God sends another man with the answers to his prayers. Nigerians are suffering because they fail to identify the man God sent to alleviate the sufferings.

I'm a Muslim, but listen here, oyedepo was among the pastors who campaign against this APC,he warned them not to use their vote bring back this APC led govt. So dont muddle him up with those other Pastors.

https://www.nairaland.com/7526889/learn-past-oyedepo-tells-nigerians

Exactly!! Oyedepo seems to be the only one they have not been able to sway. I guess there is no envelope they want to give him that he's not bigger than plus his sons are not romancing government agencies for contracts. He is the only one that has boldly spoken against the failure of leaders we have been suffering.

The funny thing here is the picture of protest used is during Buhari's regime

https://punchng.com/photos-pastor-adeboye-carrying-placard-leads-protest-against-insecurity-killings/

And the comment attributed to Daddy Adeboye was obviously taken out of context since 2011 or 2012.

https://dailypost.ng/2011/12/11/end-afflictions-adeboye-urges-jonathan/

But what do I know, Agenda must agend.

From emilokan to ebilokan. Nigerians should start now to work on 2027 election.

1. Working on Inec and their bvas machines and other factors that will guarantee free and fair elections in 2024.

2. Working on judicial independence and courts that give fair and unbiased judgements.

3. Working on rallying the masses behind one candidate, one party or one coalition.

Is this the Same Eedris that was beefing Burna and You all were supporting saying Burna was disrespectful ? Now he’s Shading a famed pastor and no one is talking

Nevertheless he’s right, Pastor and Politics should not be in the same sentence sef. If you want to criticize a government, no issue but don’t be selective with your criticism. You can’t criticize a PDP government and keep quiet about a worse APC government. That’s just a double standard

Keep shut!!! He is a citizen and can express himself freely. Illiterate.

The truth is that people who have failure as fathers will end up blaming someone else's fathers for their frustration.
Someone whose father squandered his resources on pool, betting, alcohol, women etc in the 70s, 80s, 90s are the ones angered by the success of other people's fathers today.

Eedris should STFU.. GEJ was part of the problem in the country too and should never have been President.. When we had surplus and oil boom, he didn't build any notable infrastructure, didn't make any meaningful impact, instead made a mess of the country and was using media propaganda to deceive Nigerians that Nigeria was the best performing economy and whatnot when reverse was the case. Yar'adua would have performed far better in that Office.
The likes of Diezani and co. were busy lo0ting our treasury dry while South East folks kept quiet because they felt they were in power. 2nd Niger bridge and other notable projects in South East were completed by Buhari, though he too had his own faults but still tried his bit.

I expected a man who claimed to be from South to have fixed at least one or two of our refineries like Warri and PortHarcourt refineries and put a stop to importation of petroleum products, make strategic economic policies to boost local industries and employment opportunities in the country but what did we get?.. noise of almajiri schools that noone is using anymore. Even road to Bayelsa, he didn't fix.

A scholar and PhD holder in Mathematics like Pst. Adeboye understand the situation of the country and dynamics of what is on ground more than Eedris so he should shut up and get some education.
no time to read all the rubbish u wrote down..
I don't think u are mentally stable

😂😂 Really, so he can criticize a govt that sold fuel between 150 to 300 but he has kept quiet about a government selling same fuel at 700 .

Double standard . If it were another person now people will criticize him but because it’s a pastor, whatever he does is right.

I’m not the one who should keep shut , your beloved pastor is the one who should have kept quiet rather than giving biased criticism.

But generally most Yorubas are very greedy and that is one of the things that unite them.

This is quite true . But then it’s not only Yorubas that are greedy, some Igbos are greedy and some Hausas are also greedy. If u think am Lying , look at the price inflation in the market, is it only Yorubas that inflated price ?

It is obviously wrong to tar all Yorubas with the same brush of mindless tribalism....However, the disturbing dynamic is that an overwhelming majority of Yorubas display that trait so much that the minority who choose to be objective and fair-minded are hardly visible...

If Peter Obi were the president as at today and chooses to distribute suffering and misery like a bazaar like Tinubu is currently doing, I can promise you that it will be we Igbos who wichampion his expulsion and disgrace from Aso Rock...We have no place for failures...
You are 100% correct . Tribalism and Adaptability are what is Killing us both as a Tribe and as a Country. Cos no matter how bad the situation , we always adapt and because it’s a Yoruba in power , we keep quiet. Sad

It's impressive that YOU brought this documented video facts up. The objective of the thread was to insult folks of Yoruba descent based on all the hate speeches I have read on the thread right from Page 1 and it even got pushed to the frontpage. @Seun would have to rejig his mods again because infiltrators have moved in to keep pushing anti-Yoruba and anti-Ogun State posts to the NL frontpage just like it happened in 2022 with a former mod here who was sussed out for pushing these negative threads out back-to-back.

This shows the OP of this thread to be a very toxic and highly dishonest ethnic bigot for trying to MISLEAD his fellow ethnic bigots and other NL readers here to WRONGLY think the picture of Adeboye holding a placard was during the Jonathan Presidency.

It's important to speak out when things aren't going on right in any goverment but it's very wrong to falsely accuse folks of Yoruba descent who are over 50 million worldwide of being complicit or even for Idris to single out Adeboye out of all Nigerians in his music track (which after listening to it contained a lot of incorrect, criminally defamatory comments). Idris could have just stuck to singing about the economic issues caused by the fuel subsidy removal and floating of the Nigerian currency in addition to proferring functional solutions instead of going off-track or rambling on about freeing Kanu out of jail when the case is still in court. He obviously had limited solutions to give himself and was just trying to be populist and patronize Ibos in that track. I read that Idris has kidney failure, so, yes he has to spend a lot to treat himself and take care of his family so that could have led to him making that song out of frustration.

With the new mega NNPC CNG station in Isolo Industrial Estate in Ilasamaja, Lagos, where happy car, truck, and tricycle drivers have been buying cheap CNG since May 30 , 2024 at the rate of N200 per standard cubic feet, it would help to sharply drive down the cost of transportation of people and food items in Nigeria within the NEXT 2 to 3 months if sustained and other regions of Nigeria have similar CNG stations like NNPC has planned. I read all these online and watched the videos of the launched of the NNPC CNG refill station in Lagos as well so it's true.

Dangote Petrochemical Refinery too will finally start the production and distribution of PMS from July 17, 2024 so, that should further drive down the entire cost of living for Nigerians with effective price monitoring because obviously some greedy shylocks would want to maximize profits by NOT wanting to bring down the cost of things they sell.
