The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board on Thursday unveiled the list of 2024 top scorers of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

The list was unveiled by the Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede during the ongoing policy meeting of the Board in Abuja on Thursday. They are;

Congratulations to them. I am not surprised Akwa Ibom produced quite a few this year. The scores by a school from Abak or Ikot Ekpene were stunningly high. I knew one or two should be in the top ten.

It would have been great to attach the secondary schools each candidate finished from.

That is not entirely true. Someone from Borno came top. Igbos feature in every list, but not always the No1.
