She and her father goofed when they decided to twist ADESHINA for Adetshina just as ADETOKUNBO changed to Antetokoumpo.
That's an unpatriotic act on the part of the father all because of SA citizenship.

I don't think anyone really had a problem with Rhodes having mixed parentage. They had a problem with the fact that in the past he had shown that he identified more with his mother's heritage, while hurling insults at his father's own. This was exacerbated by the fact that Rhodes appealed more to a segment of Nigerians who at the time were engaged in a bitter online feud with his father's people whom he had also insulted.

South African model, Chidimma Vanessa Onwe Adetshina has made it to the last 13 of the Miss South Africa 2024 Pageant. However Adetshina, who has a Nigerian father and South African mother and was raised in Soweto, has faced backlash from some South Africans who say that she is not South African.

The Miss South Africa Organisation says that Chidmma Adetshina has met all the criteria for participation. Responding to the insults and xenopbobic attacks that the 23 year old law student has faced, the organisation said “All documentation provided by the entrants is screened and vetted”.

I don't understand, what is "AdeTshina"? You can't be Adeshina and still be Chidimma, especially when your mother is from South Africa! I understand your mother is Zulu from South Africa, but your father can't be Igbo and Yoruba at the same time. So, Miss Chidinmma AdeTshina, that is not the correct spelling of Adeshina in Yoruba. Who are you truly - Igbo or Yoruba?

Anyway, I want to believe you're Igbo, and perhaps you would have loved to be Yoruba, hence the name "AdeTshina" - Adeshina, no "T"! The bitter truth is that you can't be "Chidimma" without facing some hatred. There is something about the people from the land where your father came from in Nigeria that makes others hate them immediately. Your father's people are seen as toxic, hateful, envious, domineering, boastful, and above all, criminal-minded. You shouldn't be using that name - Chidinma; it's responsible for what you're facing right now!
