Please if you are using your NECO please take you birth certificate along and a scratch card or probably send them your transcript and a letter from ministry of education approving Neco as a criteria for university admission. That just my opinion. Neco or no Neco he who God as destined to be given visa will surely be given 1 Like |

Nobody is misleading anybody, i believe the essence of this thread is to learn from one another. People have gone with waec statement of result and were denied based on that, while some others went with statement of results and were issued visa. I have also read that someone went with neco on this thread and was asked to bring waec reults. You guyz need to understand something, everybodies case is different, what worked for Mr A might not necessarily work for Mr B. Some part of an application might strengthen a weaker part. For instance if you did SAT and had a wonderful score and probably go with neco statement of result, the Vo might issue based on the fact that he is impressed with your SAT score, like i said every case is different, strengthen your application to the best of your knowledge. And focus more on the interview itself and not Documentation. I mean what's the point having all documents when you don't know why you want to study a course or have a goal in life!!! Just look at it from this angle, the more positive impression you make of the VO, the more likely he will issue your visa. |

Stantiques: This is the kind of advice I do tell the adviser to learn more first. NECO is acceptable. Moreover, as a graduate, little or no attention is given to O'Level results at the embassy. genxris: Hi House Don't be disturbed with that O'Level my friend. Concentrate on your GRE, BSc cert and how to prove yourself genuine to the VO. justwise: E tire me o and sometimes I can't stop laughing when I see some so called advice. |

Hello Peeps in dat house, I have problem with my SEVIS FEE, and I have sent series of mails to the department of homeland security. Upto this very moment they have not responded to the mail I sent to them. At this junction am confuse. Hope this is not going to affect to affect my chances of getting the famous green slip. Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part2 by king14: 6:58pm On Jun 11, 2012 |
I equally did pay my sevis fee sometimes last week, and 4 days after,my online status says 'paid' but receipt is still in process, though i have viewed and printed my online receipt. My possible Guess is that since its fall(major academic semester), it might take some time updating their records cause of the large number of applicants, most likely they are backlogged, so far you can print the online receipt, you should be fine for now. |

Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part2 by king14: 9:45pm On Jun 11, 2012 |
@smartmachine, just email them and quote your receipt number and other details, they should correct it with time @stantiques, like i said i believe they are backlogged for now, cause i sent them an email since last week, and no reply yet! It might take some time, but they will definitley not ignore your mail. |

Hi House, What is the content of the bank reference letter. is my sponsor going to give them the content or they have format they do work with? |
Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part2 by king14: 11:58am On Jun 12, 2012 |
@jimtosam The bank will introduce the account holder to the embassy, and probably state their relationship, this will be attached to the statement. Then your sponsor can just write a letter of sponsorship with is letter headed advocating this! Its is now left for you to defend yourself before the VO because non of this parties will be present at your interview! |

Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part2 by king14: 12:34pm On Jun 12, 2012 |
@profGinger, Bruv your case is simple, use your dad as your sponsor have him provide his statement and other documentations, and use the company's certificates (which i believe your name should be inclusive) as a tie to Nigeria. Finito! |
