Hello people, I have a little problem, back in 2008 when I was still naive and ignorant I was fooled by an agent who said he had connections @ the USA embassy, well I found the hard truth when I was refused. My problem now is that when I applied for visiting then, he filled the form as me being married , with a kid and having my own business, details like wife's name, dob, business name and kid's dob I can't recall since it was a lie, now I want to apply again as a student and thinking of putting separated as marriage details . But the form still asks for dob and previous work history which I can't recall, what can I do? |

@Franco273 Your case is very serious! You can't maintain consistency and that's a turn off at the embassy.You have 2 solutions either look for that guy that filed for you then and tell him to give you details on that form, so you can be consistent, or you simply and totally turn to GOD! Once the VO detects a lie on an application, you as good as being a male to them even when you appear as a female! Hope you comprehend! But like i said with God all things are possible, the VO might not even boarder to correlate your old status with the new one! |

@ house Please I sent mail to dhs but never replied so I think call will be better but the number I got from ice webpage is just an automated shit . Please anyone that has the correct number to go about talking to a representative shud kindly drop it off . Thanks |

king1_00: @Franco273 And you think any hungry agent can keep or remember such record since 2008? The agent has put his record in a state of mess with the embassy. I doubt if VO can miss the change in the name of business, wife's name, kid's name and DOB all at the same time without him able to give the former details if asked. Well juju fit do am sha. |

Your case is serious and complicated and you will further complicate it by trying to build on those lies. You have to start on a clean slate and hope that the VO doesn't dig up the details of the past application but if he does, then you have to tell the truth - - - - that you came through a travel agent and spice it up by saying he must have mixed up your information with some other person's details. *** my 2 quarters *** |

I can only but emphase that - if its impossible to locate that your former agent, your kind of case would require a divine intervention. For there is a God and He has ALL the powers to do and undo. @ All, Let's learn from this situation. It is better we do our things ourselves or even if we contract it out we should strive to know and keep the informations used on our behalf. |

I sent several emails but no reply yet . Friend, if you've tried everything and it doesn't work, why not just concentrate on your interview and forget about middle name on SEVIS receipt? We don't use middle name sometimes here once your first and last name are correct. |

Please let someone help me call this peeps at DHS , I want to transfer my sevis fee I still have the former status been paid , and ve sent several mails no reply . The number I got was just an automated voice prompt , I really need to talk to a customer rep., please anyone with better phone number or help out there . Thanks |

I sent several emails but no reply yet . 1-703-603-3400 although the waiting time is a bit long so I would suggest you load your phone well enough and have your sevis number with you while calling as I believe the necessary confirmations they would require you would have them. |

Pls what do i do....my i-20 has august 27 as my date but on booking an appointment the dates avilable in lagos are in september and in abuja are in october...Please anyone who wanna assist me on how to get an earlier date say august 23 or 24....please it's urgent...... |

I would suggest you read around page 50 on this thread where someone talked about system doing some automatic fixation of earlier available space. I think that should help. |

housemates, i have a bit of challenge, my school didn't require GRE, because i intend studying the same Major at Master level as my undergraduate, so it was waived for me. But i went ahead to do the GRE now, and i heard it takes about 2 months to get the Hard copy test result. So i was thinking since the online copy print out would be out in 2 weekd, can i take the print out copy to the embassy, cause i might not have received the Hard Test Result copy by the date of my appointment. What do you think? |

@samie4u I suppose your I-20 was attached with your online application relax then, cause that's the document they use to approve emergency appointment. So just relax! |

@king1. I didnt attach my I-20 form to the emergency page,i just wrote a short note to them about my resumption date(august 8, 2012),Tot i will show them I-20 during my interview. They also wrote u MAY upload a document, so i tot it wasn't important to upload it. really nervous here guys, i dont want to bungle this fall 2012 |

You had better apply again and make sure you attach your i-20 and also pay your sevis fee. That's what to look at before approving emergency dates. |
