if you say yes, then u watch games with ur tv upside down.
what makes u think rooney and neymar will not follow the ways of ibra, villa and sancez to mention but a few world class forwards that have came after etoo?
if u like, add cavani to rooney, the only way out will be to avoid games with buyern and chelsea.

Darren Fletcher has undergone a third operation to combat his bowel condition ulcerative colitis, which will decide his professional future in football.

Fletcher has had three bouts of surgery in 2013 to battle against the condition and now begins the rehabilitation process to see if he can recover enough to return to United.

“It’s been a hard time the last couple of years dealing with something like this. As a professional footballer all you want to do is play, but that’s not been possible for me,

“But if the operation is a success I’ve been told there should be nothing to stop me being cleared to play again.

Fletcher had been a stalwart under previous manager Sir Alex Ferguson since the 2003/04 campaign, playing 295 matches for the Red Devils in all competitions and the midfielder was mentioned by name in the legendary boss’ retirement speech at the end of last season.

It’s believed that new boss David Moyes is also a big fan of the Scotland international and has spoken to the player personally since taking over at United officially last week. (Source: The Mirror)

^^ Wishing him the best in his recovery. But it is best we operate as if he isn't coming back, rather than hope. If he does come back then we can make room for him in the squad.

I don't understand why United are yet to submit any bid for Strootman despite the fact United is the only candidate for his signature, yet we hear of bids for an old man to come & play left back that is not even vacant! Is Moyes waiting for a bidding war to start or what? Rumors has it that Roma is now moving in. Is it that United is not interested in him? If this is the case, who exactly fits the CDM sorely lacking in the squad & is available in the market that the coaching crew may be looking at? Even the Thiago saga, I don't think his release clause has been activated by United, because I see no reason why this should drag up to this moment as Man United is the only realistic rumored interested candidate. I won't be surprised tho if all this is just hot air & United starts the season with exactly the same midfield as they ended last season, playing Wayne Rooney in CDM

Even Thiago that we heard had agreed personal terms with United still never land.

What excitement exactly are you talking about? There is nothing to be excited about, the need for decent MF players have been there for 6 years & counting, the end is not even in sight. Probably that's why Moyes was signed up, to keep patching Manchester United with shoe-string budget. I don't understand if there is really no money for squad reinforcement. If this is the case, then we'll continue being also-rans in Europe, & maybe the league now that Sir Alex is gone.

A United legend today said United don't need midfield players; Carrick, Anderson & Cleverley has the right balance. For fvcck's sake, that is blasphemy! Are we to read between those lines?? & the fans have refused to be deceived any longer. If van Persie cops an injury, the season goes down the drain for Man Utd. Wayne Rooney should wash his socks properly cuz he'll be playing defensive midfield for majority of the 2013/2014 season

On a serious note, who is this legend? Probably he held a meeting with Coogar 'cos Anderson and Clervely pairing will win all matches for us. May be that is why we have not seen Coogar again, he travelled to see that legend.

My excitement is to see the team getting set for training. I love to watch United and next week is preseason.

If RVP injures, the team will adjust well. Afterall we won virtually all the league games when he went dry. Only that his presence alone unsettles opponents and allow others to score. The reason big players are needed in a team.

I agree with you jare, the thing tire person sef, might it interest you that the passion and support for man utd in like 5-6 years has really reduced compared to today, most times when I watch our matches, I am not always happy, the standard, quality, and winning streak has reduced drastically, before we can beat a big club in England, we must have 12 man utd players, and check out what happens outside england (since it won't be easy to have 12 players on the pitch in Europe)It is shameful. Baba spoilt the club before he left jare.

Well, let's hope for the best this season sha, God dey!

Hmmm hardly vindictive. If price is the issue here, what about the guys that have buyout clause & won't mind joining Man Utd? *Thiago & Fellaini at least* Just activate it & BINGO! All these speculations may be propelled from the Glazer family to get fans excited & buy tickets in anticipation of great talents joining the club. The funny part is that you can deceive some people sometimes but can't deceive everyone every time. I still hear an improved bid will be returned to Everton for Baines....
