Unfortunately, Torres does not have the inherent footballing ability and technique on the level on Berbatov or Demba to wiggle out of tight spaces.

Demba possesses brilliant tecnique And as Chelsea still build up slowly and allow opposition to sit back, it is likely to suit Demba more. This is why you will find Demba inside the box most times - poacher style and Torres outside of it. Torres tries to find space for himself but we don't play to his strengths.

Strikers can adapt!!! Did you see Falcao in his early days at Porto? All he did was knock in tap-ins! These days he even scores free-kicks!
