Word of caution- are you intending to work part time as a student? I believe Stouffville is a private college and you cannot get permission to work as an international student unless you are at a public college or university. You might want to ask the school's international students' office about that ahead of time. Also, I think somewhere much earlier on this thread there's been concerns raised about whether the High Commission is favorably disposed towards visas for the ACCA as technically you don't need to be in Canada to do that program. You might want to look into that. If you're really looking to get an accounting designation, you could for instance do an accounting diploma (eg through York Univ, Toronto) that would cover the courses for the CA (chartered accountant) designation which is a pretty prestigious Canadian designation and internationally recognized. For that you would need specific work experience and professional exams after graduation-- you can of course research further and look into all that if you are interested...just wanted to throw some thoughts out there that you might find worth considering. Regardless, all the best in your endeavours. |

canadianboy: Congrats. Please post ur submitted docs. If you feel its too early, please PM or add me on bbm- Xxxxxx @ nairalander, Sumone asked a question on using coy account, from previous threads, its not advisable to use coy account. Personal accounts is preferred, however, i read sumwia on US thread of a success story with Coy account. If it must be used, apart from bank writing who the signatories of the company are, there should be a board resolution signed by the directors accepting to sponsor the son or daughter of the chairman (you) to Canada. It works for US, i dont know for Canada. |

Please what is the penalty for someone who uses fake statement of account by the CDHC |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by efosa12345(m): 1:36pm On Aug 22, 2012 |
spencer3705: @spencer3705, nothing bad in asking for sample of letter of intent, is just a guide to enable u formalise urs. Not that pple are going to write verbating every thing written there. Nobody brings the format from heaven, we learn from different persons in this world, we don't pay for learning, we only pay for education. Pls if it is within ur disposer to help do instead of pushing them to the street. But I don't know the reason pple needs this letter of intent to embassy, you can equally draft comprehensive life story. I did submit comprehensive life story to canadian embassy becos I did not see any letter of intent (purpose) as requirement. |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by Nobody: 2:22pm On Aug 22, 2012 |
mercylicious:I totally disagree with above, I am a successful trv holder and I can tell u it's very much acceptable by the cdhc, I used my Dad's coy's Acct during the course of my application and I also submitted his personal Acct of about 900k..... My point is, even without submitting his personal Acct it is very much possible to get my trv cos his coy's Acct was used as the major Acct to sponsor my edu in Canada. Do not discourage people who have coy's Acct as major Acct, the fact that other people used it and got refused doesn't mean everybody who used is gonna get an outright refusal. Cases are treated differently. NB: a good coy's Acct must have proof of source of funds. |

efosa12345: thanks dear,my point is dat if u were in an examination hall and u were asked to write letter of intent pertaining to ur case, wnt u draft it?we are not naive bt learned.there is no special format 4 dis.just take ur time to write and be logical.dnt think some1 is superior in reasoning to u....remember if u dnt av dis forum u gona do ur assignment.GOOD LUCK.. |
