Wat happened in London was extremely annoying. D coaches are to be blamed 100percent. In d snatch why go 4 something as high as 133 wen her main rival stop at 128. In d c& j why didn't dey start with 158, which could have given her an advantage. |

Over ambitious coaches for a 21 year old, at least they could have reduced the kg in the 2nd attempt. |

See our coaches putting their hands on their heads. They messed up our medal winning chances at weightlifting. Very overambitious folks making our lifters bite more than they can chew. Why not start them around their PB and allow them progress, like in training (i suppose)? |

Why not start them around their PB and allow them progress, like in training (i suppose)? You're correct. Mariam pushed too hard at 160kg. Did anyone see how the coach threw towel at her. As if it was her fault. Mariam was coasting so well. The person who took the bronze lifted 166. Mariam could have done that on 3rd attempt |

Nigeria's medal hopes are looking bleak. Hopefully Chukwamerije can repeat for a medal in Tae Kwan Do. Right now I'm rooting for second generation Nigerians such as the very pretty Foluke Akinradewo who is killing it for USA indoor volleyball team. UK also has a ton of second generation Nigerian athletes to root for in track and field. |

Maryam had a very decent run for Gold, but the tactics was totally wrong, i wonder why they didnt ease her to it, just went straight for the jugular perharps she was lifting more in training |
