Without metering how have we been measuring our oil export all these years? Reality is that no 3rd World oil producing country can be allowed to measure their oil cause it will disrupt global economy that depends on mostly free crude from developing countries. This attempt will be resisted by them using unconventional means.

Properties / Re: Is Onitsha Market Really The Largest In Africa? by Abagworo(m): 4:26pm On Jul 12

Shut up this envious ediot. Onitsha main market is the largest in all ramifications in the west Africa. Onitsha market has the highest number of multi story shopping complexes in Nigeria.

Multistorey complexes inside or outside the market? Simply present evidence of some claims not bogus claims. Maybe you are adding street plazas to market which makes definition of market very difficult and nullifies any arguments.

That is what Ibo people want to believe
It makes them feel important
Even though there is no evidence whatsoever

Largest could mean two things
1. Land Mass There are no statistics to back this up
2. Good sold value. Again there is no statistic to back this up

Just some wild claims from people who overdose on akpu and start spewing unsubstantiated figures

I've done the research and the largest market in Nigeria by total land area is Trade fair complex Lagos but the entire space isn't fully occupied. The largest market by occupied land area is Ariaria market, Aba.

I've not seen statistics on volume of trade but Onitsha Main Market might actually have the largest volume of trade by a single market. As f

On the number of shops the United Nations assisted Market energy projects rated Ariaria Market as the market with the highest number of occupied Stores at 37,000 shops . More information can be gotten here

Why didn't he make this statement during Buhari's time?
He has no moral right to criticise any government in power.

Nigerians didn't suffer like this during Buhari time. Food was cheap. Bread was 400 Naira and a crate of Egg 1000 and this was just a year ago.

This is not the only Igbo page I have seen. There are thousands of them going around spreading hate and I used to assume maybe they were paid posters, but what about the thousands of hate filled comments on these posts. They all cannot be bots. Benin people are peace loving people, you come to our land and even abuse us just as you do in Lagos, call us lazy and all names but we still don't go about hating. Even after the Biafra war and what you did to our people, we still don't go about hating. Stop dragging our people.

Well that's an Ikwerre page.

Sim is almost toying the same line. He has done a one sided promotion exercise for workers in the state. Promotion that was done about 7 months ago, Only one Local government workers promotion has been implemented, so other local government workers have not been promoted for 9 years now.

For now, Rivers people are supporting him. We pray he doesn't turn out like Wike.

The world is gradually returning back to dark ages where a stronger person can molest the weak and get away with it because those who would have confronted him are also busy molesting others. The leader of the world is USA without doubt but they might get weakened if diplomacy is not employed in tackling the variious crisis rocking the globe. Trump seems to be the man that could being back normalcy and put the US back as moral leaders of the World.

Oga give me a break you guys did nothing abeg Lagos is what it is because it was a former federal capital, there was nothing fantastic you did or anyone did there, If for anything you guys have degraded Lagos, at a time Lagos was far ahead of cities like Nairobi, Accra Dakar and other prominent cities in Africa, but right now can you confidently say that Lagos is ahead of these cities? the answer is No.
Please focus on your freestuff business and stop this show of deceit. I think you need to be gainfully employed not this nonsense you are doing.

Abuja will sooon claim super power for sake of dumping our wealth there. To me the most resilient cities in Nigeria are Aba, Warri, Onitsha and probably Nnewi. You appreciate these places cause Government did little and they aren't State or Federal Capitals but yet wealth is created from the scratch through self effort.

This Nwifuru man is turning out absolute disappointment. He should stop investing more money in the Airport and find something else to do with the funds. I thought his major focus would have been investments in human capital development. Most Ebonyi natives know their priority and they have been outspoken about it but every successive Governor does what he likes and not what the people want.

Politics / Re: Arise! Oh Ikwerres. by Abagworo(m): 5:58am On Jul 08
The other Rivers tribes know Ikwerre as Igbo till today but then also know them as fellow Rivers people. It's just like Kalabari and Ijaw whom we all know as one group but then Kalabari are Rivers people. I've noticed just like some Ikwerre people say that political rise of Ikwerre and Rivers people in national politics is often pitched on perception of their ethnicity by outsiders which is what usually leads to having their leaders choose a side between being Igbo or denying Igbo. The Amaechi, Odili, Jonathan and Wike example is enough for any interested party to study. The perception of Odili as Igbo cost him Vice Presidency as the other South-south groups argued that it was the turn of minorities and he was swapped with Jonathan.
Ikwerre is recognized in constitution as distinct ethnic group from Igbo but culturally and linguistically Ikwerre is part of the many districts of Igboland belonging to the Southern Igbo broadly called Oratta Ikwerre comprising Ikwerre, Etche, Oratta, Ngor, Okpala, Omuma and Ohaji.

hahaha..... Pity that boy nah? He is talking out of infirioriy complex.
As u just remind him that it took an Anambra man to deliver his state from the pit of hell; his next comment/move is to find a way to Add Agulu, Aniocha to his Orlu madness just like he smuggled Anedo (Nnewi/Ozubulu) in in his last comment. Then remind him that Omabala is the Igbos' Ancestral home+ Richest Igbo man alive... He will find a way to drag Omabala communities into their Orlu madness just like he added Aguata. And when u remind him that Nri ji offer Igbo, he will device a way to add Umunri communities. Hahahaha......

What more could best describe inferiority complex?

Omambala is Aguleri wnd Umuleri area not the Isuama area. The guy is right on his comment. Nnewi belongs to Isuama like most
part of Northern Imo and Southern Anambra.

Politics / Re: Oba Of Benin's Position On Ikwere Heritage by Abagworo(m): 12:08am On Jul 07
Whalis:
I am Ikwerre. There is no historical tie between the ikwerres and Igbos. My grandma was from Umuahia and said Igbos have always been a distinct ethnic from Ikwerres. That they called us NDI Ikwerre.
On the Bini connection it is hard for me to agree. But the closeness here is that the ikwerres have a lot in common with the Ekpeye. And the Ekpeye has a lot in common with the Binis. Now the Ekpeye claims they left Bini with the Iwhurnohna (Ikwerre) People. This is where the ikwerres keyed into the Benin narrative.
The Ikwerres have always said they are not Igbos. Ikwerres had Ogbakor Ikwerre in 1963 to identify themselves as a distinct ethnic group even before Igbos remembered to form Ohaneze Ndigbo in 1965. Ikwerre gathered in 1965 to declare their unique identity in a communique released in Rumuomasi even years before the civil war.

Ikwerres are Igbos but not Isuama or Etche that's the difference. Prior to modernization there was no generally accepted term for everyone now called Igbo as each district had a distinct name they identified with and many never even knew the word Igbo existed. However in diaspora they developed common identity.

Culture / Re: Ikwerres Deny Ancestral Affiliation With South-East by Abagworo(m): 7:38am On Jul 06
Trying to modify history again after realizing that the earlier modifications had some clear falsehood. Ekpeye and Ogba only had some migrations into Ikwerreland especially Emohua axis. All the Southern Igbos have a link ie Ngwa, Etche, Oratta, Ikwerre, Ohaji, Asa and Ndoki. Ekpeye and Ogba belong to the Niger River Igbos alongside Egbema, Ndoni, Oguta, Ogbaru, Ukwuani and Aboh. Ikwerres should stop playing politics with their history which is well known by every traditionally inclined Igbo man. There are 7 group of villages that make up Ikwerre ethnic nationality and all 7 migrated independently so Ikwerre is actually Ikwerre Asaa or Esa depending on dialect. The 7 groups at a time agreed to come together which is the origin of the term Ikwerre. Some Ikwerre elders coming together to appropriate their origin to one place and then Benin is like Americans whose clearly known origin is Europe outnumbering the original natives and then later having some Africans and Asians suddenly saying that they all originated from China.
