I gummed the 2 passports but you would need another loose one (they'll request for it) and then 'date of the day of application' is the date of interview.

Application forms were stapled togeda and d each set of photocopies put inside each form. Arrange d forms in order of d doc named 'student' attached 2 d email dt u got scheduling ur interview. I gummed d passport photos to d forms.
Authorization to return to: I left it blank
Passport issued by: Nigerian Immigration Service, Ikoyi, Lagos.

@ Wildchild, yes you can. However, visa will not be issued until account is funded.

I sent in my request for student visa appointment on the 2nd of July and got a response on the 4th. My appointment date was today, 16th. I believe its cos my school starts enrollment next month, that's why I got an early appointment date.

Interview done! That ibo man for gate been wan spoil my groove this morn but God no gree am. I got there by 6.45am and informed the security guy that gives tags that my apptmnt was for 7am. E say make I go queue. I still kept calling their attention that I was for 7am, no response. At 7.30am, they tell me that I am too late. Eventually, I was allowed to go in after waiting for a wile.

The interview itself went well, no surprises. I no solve maths either. The standard questions were asked. I was given back my passport and told that I would get a reply by email.

In order news, pls o, how long before I get my account number of the blocked account?

Do you intend to maintain your permanent residence outside Germany? - is this asking if I plan to return home afterwards?

Trade or profession for which trained - since I'm going for studies, do I need to fill this?

Do you have any health insurance cover for the Federal Rep of Germany? - am not sure of the answer to this.

I hereby apply for residence permit for ------ months - this should be for the entire duration of the study right?

Like I said, I did mine in the east except you people are saying that the high court here is fake, then whenever I come to lagos, I will still re-do it. And Yes, the age declaration was deposed by the head of family being my father. I did one first at the magistrate court when I wanted to get a passport from the Immigration service and even that one, they didn't request for passport photo and to be on the safe side because someone advised it must be from high court, I still did another one of recent.

abiegirl, since you're in Lagos, do follow what they advised. Danke.

this is the format, take it to the high court and ask for the commissioner for oaths office, you will meet a fair lady. Tell her you want to minute your declaration which she will do, then proceed to the cashiers office and pay your 250. Both passports will be stamped then you go back to the commissioners office to get another stamp and her signature.
Finito. You are ready. NB the receipt will signed by the declarer so also the affidavit so you have to be careful here not to have different signature.

Age declaration is N250 and not 1k, don't use any tout you see around the court premises. Do it your self and you will thank me later....lol
And don't forget to attach the receipt given to you, its important.
But if you have the small birth certificate issued to you by any local govt, then you dont need to do an age declaration. I actually did the two but on my interview day i asked the receptionist which one to use, she told me if its the old one from the local govt that it is accepted. So i ended up not using age declaration.
But if you were born in the 90's then better go get NPC birth certificate. To be on the safer side.


You will need to attach your passport and that of the declarer.
Note it has to be deposed by the head of the family.

If by passport you mean photo, NPC asked for it during my time. They emblemed their stamp on it.

If that's much trouble for you, why not google NPC location of where you reside or ask people around, they will direct you. My friend did his birth certificate from NPC here in Enugu at 2500 and no such thing as providing passport even at the NPC.

I did mine with just 1K. It might vary according to location. Walk into any high court close to where you reside. I am going to use an age declaration. It won't even take an hour before it gets done. Don't worry...Just provide them with the necessary information and sign then you're good to go.

Yes its next week. If you have a testimonial from your primary school, you can do as someone here advised (that's what I am doing as well). Get an affidavit dt the certificate is missing. You can do it at the same time as your age declaration since they'll both be from a court. The statement of result should pose no problems, after all your school admitted u witout a certificate.
