Yes they will drop you in one level backwards, that is why it's advised you do conversion when you just get promoted to a new level immediately not when you have spent 2 or 3years on a level, like from 12 to 10, but if you do it immediately you enter 13 you fall back to 12. Goodluck

Says who. How will an engineer choose NPC over REA. Seems you guys don't know the benefits of your courses. Ofcourse NPC do travel, but did they tell you that it applies to all the departments. Always use your area of specialization when you have choices to make.

Leave them, they always claim to know but basic things that would shape their decision they won't know, just like saying you studied Geology/Environment Engineering and you given between Ferma and Nesrea to choose from, trust me 99% here will choose FERMA over the NESREA while because they see Civil Engineers enjoying, not even considering whether they would be job growth with what you study, allow people deceiving you that with any degree you can work anywhere in Nigeria, until you enter FERMA if you no study Civil Engineering, you go old nothing go gum you. Aside Civil engineering in Ferma your chances of ever heading even a unit not even department is next to zero.
