Family / Re: Dino Melaye's Wife Files For Divorce + Proof Of Assault Domestic Violence (PIC) by Ade1966(m): 5:36am On Dec 18, 2013 |
This is rather unfortunate. Every one should focus on making a success of their home rather than making a vocation out of criticism. Like the Holy Scripture said, it is better we try and remove the log in our eyes before making any attempt to remove the speck in other people's eyes. Look at the type of people who want to be our leaders. May GOD save us. 3 Likes |
Politics / Re: If There's No Partiality, You Won't Be Governor Yourself" - Tinubu To Fashola by Ade1966(m): 10:59am On Mar 29, 2012 |
What is being practised is called "guided democracy". Leadership is about taking the right decisions witth or without complying with protocols. Bola Tinubbu is a Great Man with a lot of Loyal Followers. |

The worst performance of Fashola is better than the best of any PDP Governors. |

Ordinarily, I would have expected a detiled due diligence before tying up this transaction. Tinubu as an accountant must have done all this. I hope this is not sensational reporting. |
Politics / Re: Buhari Answers Reporters In HAUSA After Casting Vote! by Ade1966(m): 5:00pm On Apr 17, 2011 |
What is wrong in Buhari speaking his native dialect. We have some colonial slaves among us who are bearing indigenous names but cannot speak their native dialect. Yeye People. Buhari for LIFE. |

Politics / Re: Buhari Rejected Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala As Running Mate by Ade1966(m): 6:54am On Mar 31, 2011 |
What is the quality required of a Vice President? If you ask me, I will say time and time again, there is no better Vice Presidential material than the bold, principled Pastor Tunde Bakare. Come to think of it- Obasanjo's interest in dropping Pastor Bakare was a personal vendetta not National Interest. Then for somebody to insult my intelligence that Babangida will support Buhari is like living in Fantasy Island. Who is fooling who? Buhari may not be an academic Ph.D holder BUT He is a Man of FOCUS, not easily moved by material or greek gift. With due respect, Mrs. Iweala is not made for the Nigerian Vice Presidential Post but will get my full support to come back as our Finance Minister with her vast experience, unlike the 'Agangas' we have now. The future of Nigeria should START Now with the Buhari/Bakare ticket. The Time is NOW. |
Politics / Re: Official Thread Of The Bon Nedg Presidential Debate by Ade1966(m): 5:43am On Mar 31, 2011 |
Too Bad!Too Bad!! Too Bad!!!. Is this our President? Our Leaders(including the so called, 'certificated' illiterates) are totally at a loss on how to manage themselves, not to talk of managing a Nation. I have been struggling hard to come to grip with the Nigerian Reality Show, where our leaders thrive on religious and ethnic sentiments, lack of focused direction and inability to come up with intellectual, incisive analysis of how to solve problems. It is either they are borrowing ideas without considering the peculiarities of our unique environment or they are busy looking for under-age girls to conquer and developing pot bellied status to reflect their Grand Master status in Corruption. The malaise has run deep. Nothing to jubilate in the Nigerian Ph.D or most of the other degrees for that matter(B.Sc,MBA, etc), if we are unable to reflect higher level of thinking to justify the training and education received. Anyway, what do we expect, when it is now the norm that conducting serious minded research has been jettisoned for 'dubbing' at Tertiary Levels. It will be a VERY SAD day, if the likes of Jonathan and his PDP Rulers get back to Government. That will be a day of National Mourning. Our present crop of Leaders is a terrible disservice to the focused Intellectuals we have in this Country. No wonder, a lot of them are now living in Environment that will not call your SANITY to question. We need a SERIOUS DELIVERANCE not from DEMONS but from these SATANIC RULERS without CONSCIENCE. |
Politics / Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by Ade1966(m): 5:56am On Mar 20, 2011 |
"I didn't watch the debate but if this is Buhari's closing remark then he clearly knows the basic thing Nigeria needs, Strong institutions. Ideas are great and Bakare has great ideas, I think bakare will trump Shekarau any day when it comes to ideas, so if it is about the leadership team then Buhari + Bakare is the clear winner, Bakare with the great ideas, Buhari with the fundamental idea and the integrity and will power to deliver. For everyone who thinks Buhari does not have what it takes in intellectual capacity to rule Nigeria my response is yes Buhari alone does not have what it takes in terms of intellectual capacity but he has demonstrated (in choosing Bakare as his vice) that even though he doesn't have the brains, he can get the brains to do the job. Leadership is not just about having intellectual capacity, It is about delivering results through other people. Please Vote Buhari + Bakare, Vote for Change!!! Nigeria needs you!!!" You have just spoken my mind. |
Politics / Re: Who 'Won' The Lagos Governorship Debate On Channels TV? by Ade1966(m): 12:26pm On Mar 03, 2011 |
As far as I am concerned, the opposition are just that-nothing but opposition. They have not done any homework or critical review of the governance of Lagos. The only thing in their skull is just to grab power and start thinking thereafter on how to utilize it. The whole show was a 'walk over' for Fashola. I consider Fashola, a Governor with a vision and a purpose backed up by Action. As at today, Fashola is the BEST. |
Politics / Re: Why Gov Saraki, Sanusi Hijacked Intercontinental Bank ! Akingbola by Ade1966(m): 8:04am On Feb 20, 2011 |
These Guys(Akingbola, Saraki and Sanusi) are six of twelve and half a dozen , interpreted to mean they are two sides of the same coin. Look at the man talking about depositors and shareholders as if they care. How come the same depositors and shareholders were kept in the dark, until the power play resulted in one of them getting severely politically injured. Honestly, I am not fooled. While I do not doubt the truth of his allegations, what I cannot stand is the tendency to make himself look like a victim. He got what he deserved. If the game is all about power, then you have to be on the right side. If it is about the interest of shareholders, then don't do what you cannot be proud of to say on the front pages of the Newspaper. I thought he said he was a Pastor, how come his lifestyle does not reflect the humility associated with his calling?. Maybe, he is a 'modern day definition of the prosperity(by whatever means) ministry. |
Politics / Re: Bakare Liable To Death By Stoning In Islamic Law- Jibrin by Ade1966(m): 7:47am On Feb 20, 2011 |
The comment by Jibrin is the height of spiritual irresponsibility and should be condemned by all positive and forward looking Nigerians. It baffles me that at this age and time, any right thinking public officer should make such comment. When I look at the ways and manner, some public officers talk(including GEJ, OBJ,et al), I am deeply concerned that there may be need to carry out some psychiatric tests on them. We have voted for a Muslim/Muslim(Abiola/Kingibe) ticket in this country and the christians happily did this without introducing the religious sentiment of imbalance. The Progressive members of Nigeria are not talking this type of rubbish anymore. What we are looking for is a Nigerian imbued with leadership qualities and a progressive mindset to deliver democratic dividends to Nigeria. How many people in Lagos State are bothered by the religious practice of Fashola(who happens to be a muslim)?. Nobody, because the facts speak for itself. Tell this Man to keep shut and restrict his reckless statements to his family meeting. |

Investment / Re: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by Ade1966(m): 5:55am On Oct 22, 2007 |
I am of the opinion that FCMB's offer is to improve their cashflow. They appear to be finding it difficult to maintain increase in shareholders fund as at August 2007. What do the gurus think? |

I will like to know if FCMB is a good buy. |
