@George/Badaru i nail astra 1g @31.5e today at 11pm on my 2.4 motorise, i am sure if the set up was aling 4 this bird it will be nail in the day time, i got 55% with 11817v27500 just a little bit above big brother, people with 3m will have advantage. World beuty tv and the rest.

This bird is been there for some years now, can't actually remember when i come across it. Some feeds chn showing kicks are transmitted on it most weekend

@adewest,  i was able to track badr this morning  ,   it was so easy as if your tracking  a direct to home signal,   but discovered that mbc,s where not coming up,   i used  strong  prime focus lnb,  the same  i used for anilsat,  please  part from fuji  and digisat lnbs  ,  which is the best lnb  one can use for out footprint beams

Yes they are just 6.6 deg interval separating the two sat, for Intelsat 902 is 62 deg east where SABC is currently located AND I JUST FOUND OUT THAT EVEN THE SABC IT SELF JUST GONE WILD (SCRAMBLED), WORLD CUP FEVER

Emexi, it think from my last installation in Enugu few months back yielded a good result on badr very well, even i can tell you that the reception of Badr and Nilesat is better off in SS and SE compared to what is receivable in area around Lagos axis.

Badr is same as nilesat for those who don't need the effizies like showtime, art, etc. In this time of year when we mostly have cloudy weather, it is sometimes a better alternative south-south in terms of reception.

Also interesting to know that a parabolic surface of about 3.5m will be required (in places like Lokoja-Abuja-Jos-Bauchi and Gombe ie some northern zone) to matched or compete with the signal strength of what 2.4m surface dish will receive on Badr 4/6 at 26.0°E within south-south. Also as what 1.8m surface can receive on Badr in the South-south, 4m surface dish will not receive the signal to blink within Lagos and environs. In a nutshell South south region is well favor in term of High altitude freq on Badr 4/6 at 26.0°E; like 12226 H,12245 V,12265 H,12303 H,12341 H,12356 V,12456 H,12476 V and others.

What's in badr that u really hunting that Nilesat don't give enough with that surface within Lagos Well that shouldn't sound like am discouraging your research, for if you care to know, hunting Badr with 3m within Lagos is like hunting Nile with 1m dish surface. Just for your info ONLY.

I see your already missing those Nilesat packages a lot. Unfortunately, there is no other satellite you can get in Ibadan with your 1.8m which can give you all those packages in one position like you used to enjoy them in Sokoto.

What you can do however is to motorize your dish (if you really cannot afford a bigger dish like 3m now).

When motorized, your 1.8m dish can give you CNN @NSS7/c, EATV (music) @906/c, MBC3 (mauritius) @w3a, etc. In all you can receive up to 250 good stations in different positions with your 1.8m dish. In the long run however, you must consider buying a bigger dish (pan or fibre) if your really thirsty for Nilesat. Best of luck.

That fellow trying to nail NILESAT on 1.8m pan dish may go ahead if really he is within Ibadan township and environs. With the pan in a perfect shape,BBC world with freq 11766H-sr 27500 on nilesat will surely pop-up with about 43% judging with srt 4652 strong, Mbc 1,2,3 and 4 will hit about 50% (11938v-sr27500), MTV 11977v,11862v will also comes with high signals and many other TPS on NILESAT.

You can receive Infinity Tv on Nilesat 102 @ 7.0deg west. Use 12226 H 27500. It is on the same frequency as Aljazeera Children and Gear One. Do we have a server there?

Did you care to ask yourself the followings
1. Why was channel in question encrypted within sub-Sahara with negra3 @ 68.5E and 62.0E ?
2. Why all the chns on same tp 3951 working and the channel in question was left alone hanging all those while ?
3. Who as the legal right to re-produce the broadcast of this channels ?

Enjoy it while it last but mind how you draw peoples attention, remember this is Niger.

Why can't you guys see more and talk less , note that watching pay tv without a valid subscription is a criminal offense which attract a jail term offense; so learn to speak with wisdom and not  freedom. A word is enough for the wise one. They are on test txn isn't ?

Long time how your end, i really miss u ooo . i think within ur geo axis, jsc+ come green through out day but drop slightly towards 0100-0200am from my observation.
