I've been to his corporate office at Abule Egba, but I was told he has since sold off the place. He is owing me over a N100k which I must surely collect otherwise his accomplice, Dr Sunny Ojeagbase will pay!

I have contacted my brothers in the Military police and we are all frantically searching for him - Why promise something that you know you can not deliver? That is stealing, ole, jaguda!

Religion / Secrets Of Effective Prayers For Immediate Results by AwojobiA: 9:23am On Aug 27, 2010
No doubt, prayer is a very powerful weapon for a christain's survival in his / her earthly sojourn. I'm talking about real, effective, focussed and whole-hearted prayers and not the playing-to-the-gallery, psychedelic prayers reminiscent of the pharisees of old.

To start with, do you know that there are different prayers for the different hours of the day - morning, afternoon and night? And that there are prayers that you do on your own that can effectively overcome all manners of sicknesses and infirmities?

Let's take a quick look at John 4; 46 - 54 - Reading this passage at the 7th hour of the day with total belief in the healing power of God will spare the life of any sick person at the point of death.

Indeed, there are many potent secrets of effective prayers to achieve immediate results - For more information, please visit http://godanswersprayersvilla.info

Remain blessed.

Incredible, I used to think that night sweating was essentially due to insomnia! However, having gone thro' the recommended site, I'm now a lot wiser. Thanks
Celebrities / Re: Meet The Four Richest Nigerian Pastors. by AwojobiA: 6:22pm On Jul 15, 2010
Please Nairalanders and unbelievers out there, be advised to make haste very slowly in condemning any man of God.

Pastors Adeboye, Oyedepo and Oyakhilome made a lot of sacrifice in deciding to follow Jesus Christ over many decades ago. Pastor Adeboye, PHD holder in Mathematics, for instance, forsake his vain quest to be VC of Unilorin to follow God and the same applies to the other two (who forsook their highly lucrative first calling of Architecture to follow Christ). Pastor Kumuyi, also a renowned Mathematics don gave up the teaching profession to follow Christ.

At the initial stage, when they forsook their various callings to follow Christ, nobody saw them. When Pastors Adeboye and Oyedipo were using peugeot 504 then in the late 70s under their respective mentors, nobody saw them then. At that time, the best cars in Nigeria then were the mercedes benz, peugeot 505 evolution etc and yet these men of God were using dilapitated cars then! Please go and read their respective BIOs and you will then better appreciate the hand of God on their lives. Bishop Oyedepo, starting out in Kaduna then in the 80s, recounted how to pay their rented flat was so difficult every month.

If you saw the picture of Matthew Ashimolowo then in the 80s under his mentor in Ibadan, you will mistake him for a famine-stricken victim of Ethopia!

The whole thing is about self-denial as instructed by Jesus Christ Himself. Let's look at Matthew 19:20 - 22 = The young man said to him,''All these things I have kept from my youth. What do I still lack/'' Jesus said to him,''If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in Heaven;and come follow me''

A certain man of God (whose name I will not want to mention here) recounted to us how, when he was still under his mentor in the 80s, he was receiving a monthly salary of N20! And he had a wife and kid to cater for. That he was almost tempted not to pay his tithes (as advised by his fellow co-pastors in training), but that God ministered to him to be ''faithful in little things and biggers things he will receive'' So, he ended up on a monthly salary of N18 after paying N2.00 tithes!! But today, almost 2 decades after, he is quite comfortable as the pastors listed in the subject.

So, to a large extent, these people have really paid the price (and nobody saw or knew them then), but now that (in fufilment of the scriptures) ''other things have been added unto them'' people are now shouting and saying nonsese all over the place!

How many of you can sacrifice a day's lunch or give up a bad habit to follow Christ, eh? Please, be very careful - ''All sins shall be forgiven except the sin against the Holy Spirit''

And besides, these men of God are not the richest in Nigeria or the world. Anybody can indeed be blessed or rich - Aliko Dangote, Mike Adenuga, IBB, OBJ, Femi Otedola, Jimoh Ibrahim etc,etc are amongst the richest men in Nigeria today. But when you even go globally and mention people like Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Tiger Woods, Oprah Winfrey etc,etc you will even discover that Adenuga or Dangote's wealth pales into great insignificance not to talk of this men of God's! So, wealth is a relative thing. Adenuga used to be a taxi-driver in US in the 80s, the late M.K.O after graduation from Glasglow started out as a teacxher before later being immensely rich. Anybody can be rich - Their are christain and non christain principles for success.

There are members of Winners, Redeeemed, Chris Embassy that are by far richer than their respective pastors! Yes or No. So, what are we talking about?!Please let us exercise great restraint in condemning things that we do not know about. Warren Buffet, Bill Gates or Mike Adenuga are not pastors or born-again christains and yet they have been so immensely blessed on Earth.

Our focus should not really be on the vain, earthly riches, but on making heaven when we die. Not all rich men will make heaven and not all poor people will go to Hell. Many are called, few are choosen. Only God can judge men of God; not for any carnal man to judge.

And lastly, what God wants from us is to, in true repentance and obedience to the word, seek His face and not to unravel His mysteries. These men of God obeyed, denied themselves, sought God's face and every other thing was added unto them for God is ever faithful. The same can also happen to you today if you can truly obey the word. But always remember that Earthly treasures is different from Heavenly treasures.

Sports / Who The Hell Is This Netherland's Arjen Robben? The Man Has Wrecked Brazil! by AwojobiA: 5:43pm On Jul 02, 2010
I have not heard much about this Holland's fantastic player called Arjen Robben (No 11), but watching him play is such a great delight! He single-handedly wrecked Slovakia (that had earlier threw Italy out of contention) and has now also single-handedly wrecked Brazil out of the World Cup!
He is such a mesmerizing player that I'm surprised that he is so unpopular in World football! All we hear everyday is Messi, Messi and Messi, Wayne Rooney, Cristain Ronaldo and Drogba! And Messi is really yet to mes(si)merize!

Based on popular opinion, I hereby declare Arjen Robben of Holland as the World Best Footballer. grin

Politics / Re: Sanusi In Tears; Says Reforms Are Not A Northern Agenda! by AwojobiA: 3:18pm On May 15, 2010
I can now see clearly why it may be difficult or forever impossible for us to get out of the woods in this ominously dark part of the world. It is sad, pathetic and tragic. Even the blind  knew that there was a lot of rot in our banking sector - how do you explain the unrealistic targets dished out to marketers for which a lot of the females have turned themselves into corporate prostitutes to meet these 'sacred' targets. These MDs needed to drive deposit mobilisation to such a mad frenzy as that was the only avenue to create 'bad loans' which was written off in due course. Ofcourse, these 'bad loans' were caused by their friends and proxies naturally acting on their behalf. They consequently made good fortune to the extent that 2 of the sacked MDs had over 1,200 exotic houses between themselves scattered in exotic places all over the world.
Even Bill Gates, the erstwhile richest man in the world, has only 2 houses;most of his fortune has been channeled into the Melinda and Bill Gates Foundation and are being used to help poor countries around the world. Warren Buffet, erstwhile 4th richest man, also has 2 houses, but still lives in an old looking mansion that he first bought 40 yrs ago and has only 2 cars!

Meanwhile, the banks of these 2 useless MDs had become technically insolvent with a combined bad debt figure of over N300BN and their hapless marketers running helter skelter like mad men and women trying to meet impossible target so that prima facie the banks will still appear to be meeting the CBN statutory loan to deposit ratio of 40%.Although interest rates are still in double digits, the loans are not even being channeled to the real sector due to the greediness and corrupt tendencies of our bank MDs (which is not also helped by the 'poor' state of the Nigerian nation & several other 'Nigerian factors').  sad sad sad

A Sanusi now comes on board and exposes all these rot which Soludo, no doubt, also saw but he preferred to hobnob with these MDs rather than to go the whole hog of sanitising the system because he did not want to die. The truth is, it is only the person that is ready to die that can clean the Nigerian augean stable. Sanusi was aware of the consequences of his action, but he preferred to damn the consequences. Some of the consequences are what we are now seeing;'', northern agenda'' ''incompetence'' '', sack him'' bla, bla, bla. But the truth is we need a completely radical person, a Sanusi to put us on the straight road if we are ever going to make it as a nation. Let us remember that the US has predicted that there would not be a Nigerian nation anywhere on the map by the year 2020 if things continue like this!

To condemn Sanusi is to condemn the truth and the path of honour. Indeed, I sometimes wonder, if Jesus Christ comes back to the world again, would he not be crucified again? Nigerians, we really need to pray.
