Pastor Arinze Okoli Mmaduabuchi, the general overseer of Higher Life World Fellowship in Imo state says being gay is not a sin.

The pastor revealed this in many posts on his social media pages. He wrote that although he may be wrong, homosexuality is not a sin.

“Homosexuality is not sin as am led to say,I may be wrong but God’s everything. When I say gay is no sin, I mean sin is judged sin with no disparity’s, all men have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory, but in grace sin is overlooked to count men righteous through faith even though they don’t qualify.”

“What is sin?According to James a disobedient of the law,or transgressions of the law, any man that wants the law is indebted to do the whole law, but Christ has abolished it and brought in liberty, in Christ no man is judge a sinner if he works in faith.

The issue here is can somebody be a gay christian. If men are judged sinners because of their orientation of sex,then all men are sinners in did.”

Following the 17 months failed marriage of the Ooni of Ife and Olori Wuraola, Nollywood veteran actor and playwriter Yemi Elebuibon says the ex queen needs to be cleanse

According to him, any man who sleeps with Olori Wuraola without the former queen going for spiritual cleansing will die prematurely.

He stated this in an interview with The Sun, adding that Olori Wuraola needs cleansing to return to her normal life.

For the woman, she might not really have a problem but for any man who sleeps with a queen or marries an ex-queen without the appropriate cleansing, the man may die prematurely, he may be struck with sickness or there might be retrogression in his life.

“Any marriage she would be going into must not be elaborate. They should go far away and avoid any flamboyant wedding,” Elebuibon stressed.

Tolulope Gaba A.K.A Abike Jagaban lives in England while Esabod- Esther Tokunbo Aboderin lives in Ireland. The two women have gained more followers including celebrities to get updated on their media feud.

Esther Tokunbo Aboderin A.KA. Esabod, became quite popular after a video she did, blasting controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo. The video had over 84,171 views.

Although her spoken English wasn’t fluent enough, many people stuck to her page to watch her speak. Esabod had been doing live chats and videos before she became famous through the Kemi Olunloyo video.

A top Lagos society woman, Mrs. Tokunbo Ashabi, says she likes watching videos of the two bloggers. She said: “My sister, you can’t help but laugh when you watch these two women’s videos. Though, they have taken it too far these days as they keep attacking each other ferociously, but we are enjoying it. Their chats provide a comic relief for us. I love watching it and laughing off the tension of my business challenges before taking a nap.”

How the Fight Began

56 year old Esther Aboderin had called out Abike Jagaban in a 10 minutes clip for outing her close friend who had a child for another man while still with her husband, while She herself was also sleeping with big wigs in London. The video went viral and was watched by millions.

Angered by Esabod’s video of her, Abike went on to make a video she titled “Dido Lobo” where she slammed Esabod and accused her of not being a saint either. She went on to rant about how many Nigerian women who live abroad go promiscous because of the very cold weather.

Her choice of words were quite raw and she advised women who feel threatened about their husbands being taken care of by single mothers.

Abike wasn’t too hard with Esabod in her own video but things went out of line after Esabod did two more videos, one on London-based Nigerian fabric merchant and the other a London-based celebrity newspaper publisher. Many of the things she recorded about them were found to be false.

A lecturer Ogah Onwe Chinedu, has been dismissed for sleeping with female students, extorting money from many and other crimes.

Mr Chinedu was a lecturer in the department of History and international relations in Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki.

A student of the school who knew the lecturer well wrote:

“All Mr. Ogah Onwe Chinedu does is to forcefully sleep with girls and treating to fail them if they refuse to comply with him. He has been sued before by HIR students but one Dr. Uche Okonkwo and some other Lecturers in the department pleaded on his behalf to be forgiven, yet he goes about doing the same thing over and over again. He hides people’s project topic just to delay them from going to service if you ain’t in good terms with him.”

A Facebook user Nolly Lee shared photos of Mr Chinedu and wrote about him facing panel for the above listed offences and many students and alumni of the university wrote on how the lecturer victimized them.

The Rivers state Police Command has arrested a suspected kidnapper and cannibal, Roland Peter, for the death of Pastor Samuel Okpara who was used to prepare pepper soup.

The State Commissioner for Police, Zaki Ahmed, revealed this on Monday while parading 25 suspects in the state’s capital.

Pastor Okpara was kidnapped on the 15th of August, 2017, by a notorious kidnap gang in Edoha, Ahoada East LGA. He was buthchered and his intestines were used to prepare pepper soup for the gang.

Ahmed disclosed that Roland Peter was arrested by the Anti-Kidnapping Unit (AKU) and the gang leader has been identified to be Justus, popularly called High-Tension, from Amarikpo in the same LGA.

He added that Roland was helping the police with further investigations but has denied having a hand in Pastor Okpara’s killing.

One of Nigeria’s favorite rapper, Olamide has revealed the reason why he dropped out of school, and how he ended up making it in life.

The former student of Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) said he dropped out of school because his parents could not afford to pay for his school fees, but he was still able to make it through hardwork.

He disclosed this on Friday when he went as a special guest of honour at the Summer camp organised by the Ogun State government at Akin Ogunpoola Model College, Akinale in Ewekoro Local Government Area of the state.

According to the ‘WO’ Crooner, he said:

“I am from Ogun State here, I do not joke with my culture and language, in fact, I came from a poor background. I had to drop out of Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, Ijebu Ode, when it was getting difficult for my parents to pay my school fees.

A top commander of Boko Haram terrorists, Auwal Ismaeela, has surrendered to the Nigerian military.

In his confessions, he said he led a squad that abducted Chibok girls in 2014. According to him, he surrendered because he was tired of the “senseless” atrocities of the insurgent group.

PRNigeria reports that Ismeela regrets his actions and is currently working with the Nigerian military with informations and locations of other top commanders of the group.

He said:

“My self and Abu Hafsat a Boko Haram commander led other squads to abduct the Chibok girls.

“We led the operations to invade Gwoza, Bama, Limankara mobile barrack, Bita, Bosso, Madagali, Chibok, Pulka, Firgi, and Mubi.

“In Madagali which was my home town, myself, Adam Vitiri, Abu Adam and Habu Kudama, some high ranking Boko Haram Commander led an operation in 2014 where we killed some students and youths at the Central Secondary School in Sabon Garin Madagali.

“In one of the operations, I abducted my wife named Maryam who had two kids for me in Sambisa Forest.

“It is unfortunate that I was brainwashed and misled not only on some abductions but in the killings of my own people that were innocent. I wholeheartedly regret my actions.

“During a battle in Konduga where myself and other Boko Haram commanders led the operations, I lost my right leg and was almost got burnt. Even at that, I did not stop fighting for the course. “I willingly surrendered to the military because I was tired of the senseless killing and fight. I realised that our people have resort to stealing and all sort of atrocity contrary to the teaching and practice of Islam.

“Women were being raped, sometimes publicly. Children died from malnutrition and disease as the living condition became harsher. As there was no food in the camp, people died every day because of hunger.

“I will continue to cooperate with the security agencies in providing useful information on our mode of operations and to disclose top-secret hideouts of our commanders.”

Known for opposing Buhari and his administration, Ekiti state governor, Ayodele Fayose says he can’t visit the President.

He stated that his actions while Buhari was away on medical leave prompted his return to the country on Saturday.

Fayose said this on Wednesday while speaking to leaders of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) at the government office in Ekiti.

He said:

“If not for our efforts Buhari wouldn’t have returned now. Buhari is sick and tired and even his physical appearance betrayed this and he needs to go home and rest.

“Today, they have cancelled the Federal Executive Council meeting. You cannot hide the truth forever, it will reveal itself someday. You cannot continue to deceive Nigerians.

“Every word that has come out of my mouth before the President’s return, I have no apology for them. President Buhari was indeed in coma and one of those who visited him said his recovery is a miracle, that shows that he was indeed very sick.

“Let Buhari go back to Daura and rest. Don’t send him to early grave. Buhari is not old enough to be my father, my mother is older than Buhari, he cannot be my father, he can only be my uncle. I am close to 60. I stand by all I have said about the President. We are glad he is back, but don’t over flog him.

“I am not a sycophant and I stand to speak for Nigeria. Somebody must be able to speak on behalf of the poor masses. This was how they deceived us during the time of Yar’Adua. I am not a hypocrite and I will never be one. This country deserves a very healthy person. The office of the president is not for a sick man. The president is tired and should be allowed to resign and go and rest.

“I have said it severally and without apologies. Everything I said when the President was away, I stand by them. The president actually went into coma and this was attested to by what one of the governors who visited him when he was abroad said that his recovery was a miracle. When somebody’s recovery is a miracle it simply means something very serious happened to the person.

“Since the President himself cannot disclose his health status and also the extent of his ailment, it apparently shows that there is so much to hide. Not until civil societies and people like us started making noise. You can’t be our president without us knowing what is happening to you. So, for me, the president went to coma July 6. Today, they can come back and organise rallies and all that; they attested to the fact the President recovered by miracle which we are glad about. We are happy that he is back. But when you look physically look at the President he is physically. You will see that he is emaciated tired and weak.

“You don’t have to be president at all cost, when you are tired. You go home. I don’t want to talk about 2019′ but I want to tell you that Nigeria needs a president that is agile and strong. The job is too much for an individual that does not have what it takes. It is a common saying that health is wealth. Everything is about health. We wish him well and we want him to recover but the President should throw in the towel, resign and go home.

“You see they said he would come back and resume in his office, he resumed in his office , they said rats have taken over his office! A presidential office, rats took over his office!

“Now they said he is working from home, tomorrow, they would say he is coming from bedroom. All these stories are ending up in a make believe. In a country where you have so much to do, I m not going to be a sycophants here. I am going to be on the side of the common man, the President is tired. I feel for the president like every other elderly persons, or even people who are not elderly. They could be sick. But when it comes to the issue of governing a country. There is so much responsibility to this and we must equally be able to stand up and say if the president does not have what it takes to continue, he should throw in the towel.”

Asked if he would oblige if invited to see the president, Fayose said: “I cannot go and greet the president if invited and the reason is that such action would be misinterpreted to be something else. So, it is good for me to wish him well from a distant and be able to tell Nigerians the truth.”

A new report indicates that President Buhari and other government officials spend over $1b a year on medical treatment in other countries.

This comes shortly after President Buhari’s return to Nigeria after spending 103 days in the UK on medical leave.

Clare Omatseye, the President, Healthcare Federation of Nigeria, HFN, disclosed this on Tuesday night in Lagos at an event. She said lack of investment on the Nigerian health sector makes prominent Nigerians embark on medical treatments abroad.

“In the last couple of decades, due to lack of investment in health care in our country, we have had a brain drain, where we have lost a lot of our good Doctors. Currently, we are suffering from patients’ drain, where there is a lack of confidence in the sector, and people are now leaving for medical tourism, where we lose over one billion dollars annually.

“There are about 37,000 Nigerian Doctors in the diaspora, with about 30,000 Nigerian doctors in the United States, and over 5,000 in the United Kingdom. We have almost equal number of Doctors abroad that we have in country”.

She argued that to develop an advanced internal healthcare system, there was a need to create an enabling environment for the private sector to thrive.

She said: “To achieve this, we need to create enabling environment; the two policies recently passed by the National Council for Health in Abakaliki, which include incentivising health care investment policy, and the new public private partnership policy, will make it easier to do business in Nigeria.

“It will make it easier for private sector partners with the public sector, protecting their interest and give Nigerians access to quality health care.”

President Muhammadu Buhari canceled the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting that was scheduled to hold today, Wednesday, 23rd of August.

Today’s meeting was expected to be his first FEC meeting since his return to the country. Premium Times writes that rather than hold the meeting, the president would receive reports on the probe of the director-general of National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ayodele Oke and secretary to the government of the federation (SGF), Mr. David Babachir Lawal, both of whom are currently on suspension.

President Buhari who now works from home will receive the reports at his residence. The cancellation of the meeting was announced by the Special adviser to Buhari, Femi Adeshina.

“The meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) will not hold today.

A Lagos High Court has seized four housing properties worth $7M (N2.6b) from former minister of petroleum, Diezani Alison-Madueke on Tuesday.

The former minister who is still being investigated for fraud was ordered by the presiding judge, Justice Abdulaziz Anka, to hand over the landed properties found to be bought with stolen funds.
During a search of Amamgbo’s property, investigators also found documents indicating that he owned some 18 companies and property in Britain and the USA — as well as Nigeria.

He told officers that he had registered the corporations in order to hold property on Alison-Madueke’s behalf, the court heard.

The online media stated this in a report titled; “Buhari’s First Day Back On Duty A Loud Disappointment, Concerned Aso Rock Sources Say.”

Although the audenticity of the reports is yet confirmed, Sahara Reporters write that Buhari was forced to return to the country by Asr Rock cabals due to the upcoming Sallah celebration.

“President Muhammadu Buhari’s return to work on Monday got off to a limp start despite the celebrations which accompanied his return to Nigeria, on Saturday, his health clearly not much improved despite the best spin efforts of the cabal in the Presidency.

Aso Rock insiders who had been made to believe a rejuvenated and energized President would kick-start governance with energy and commitment became disillusioned, as they came to terms with the fact that President Buhari is still reeling in poor health condition.

Several Presidency sources told Sahara Reporters that the manipulative cabal managing the President made a number of moves in the 24 hours preceding Mr. Buhari’s return aimed at consolidating the fictional story of his having fully recovered from whatever ails him. Since arriving in Abuja however, it has become clear he is in no better shape than before he travelled, characterized by incoherence and inability to stay composed, and alert for more than 10 minutes at a time before lapsing into some form of health crisis and serious coughing. The first assignment of the day, the sources said, was the 7 AM speech which he supposedly gave to announce his return to the country. But the villa sources said the speech was pre-recorded, with no one being sure when it was recorded.

But if the managers thought the Monday breakfast speech would make the President look good to Nigerians, it seems to have achieved the opposite, many Nigerians condemning him for failing to speak about his prolonged absence from work, and the nature of his illness.

Instead, the President addressed perceived division caused by Biafran agitators and the insecurity caused by Boko Haram. He also vaguely addressed Arewa youths, concerning their ultimatum to the Igbos to leave the North.

While that effort clearly rubbed concerned and nervous Nigerians the wrong way, Buhari’s media managers followed up with photos of him signing his resumption letter, with a very short video clip on Twitter, showing him and his controversial Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, and another voice in the background giving directives as to which letter would go to Senate or the House of Representatives.

Later in the day, the office of the President released more photos showing Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, visiting him for a “briefing”. Presidency sources disclosed that although the VP was around for close to two hours, there was nothing plausible to write home about, as the President was only “present” for a few minutes, making the meeting very brief and unproductive.

One clear strategy by the cabal, our sources stated, was to keep the President from making offhand comments that could reveal his true health status. That trend started when President Buhari’s cabal began letting visitors see him in London, after he regained a semblance of normalcy following intense treatment that lasted for months. The practice has been to release very short clips of him joking or saying a few words.

In today’s media game, three different sets of photographs were released to the public, with President Buhari donning three different hats in one day. In some photos, he looked quite robust, while in other photos he looked decidedly emaciated.

The News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, reports that the conference’ theme is: “African Business: Penetrating through Institution Building”.

Mr. Danbatta, at a breakout session with the sub-theme: “The Business of Cyber Law, Internet Policy and Privacy Rights”, moderated by Augustine Alegeh, a former NBA President, said the number of internet users in Nigeria has hit 91.6 million.

“About N127 billion was the estimated loss to cybercrime in Nigeria in 2015; Nigeria ranks third in global internet crimes behind the UK and U.S.

“A critical factor militating against Africa’s economic resurgence is the weakness of its institutions.

“Nigeria ranks 169 out of 199 on the World Bank’s ease of doing business rankings; we are in a middle of a revolution and the rise of what we call the networked society.

“The NCC stipulates the laws of engagement that will make the cyberspace safe and ensure the confidence as well as the safety of the cyberspace,” Mr. Danbatta, a panellist, said.

“There are benefits and risks of the use of cyberspace and both has to be properly managed.”

A Ghanaian man recognised as Naa Kwesi in deep trouble, he reportedly shot dead his colleague who is a hunter during a hunting claiming it was not intentional.

The sad incident happened at Akyem Hweakwei in the Birem North District of Ghana.

The 42-year-old hunter shot his colleague to death, he claims he mistook him for a grass cutter.

MyNewsGH reported that Odikro Kofi David a resident of the area reported that the suspect and Acheampong Daniel alias Obolo, before his death, were seen heading into the forest to hunt.

“In the evening the suspect returned home but Obolo never came back. When the family of the deceased asked the suspect of his whereabouts, he claimed they both parted ways when they entered the forest.

A search party was ordered the next day when he failed to return home to look for the deceased but there was no trace of him.

On the third day, a complaint was lodged with the police leading to the arrest of the suspect who confessed to killing him revealing that he mistook him for grass cutter. He led the police to retrieve the body”, he revealed.

He was tried before the Birem North Magistrate Court and provisionally charged for murder and remanded in police custody to reappear on August 26, 2017.

A married woman, Mrs . Omotola Akerele, was sent packing by her husband after her pastor impregnated her.

The 32 year old woman claimed the said pastor, Mathew Olakunle of Christ Apostolic Church , Oke Itura in Iju town, Akure, Ondo state, had slept with her during a spiritual healing.

Omotola who narrated her ordeal during a programme on Adaba FM Akure said her mother introduced her to the pastor.

“I had a severe cough and my mother took me to Pastor Olakunle Mathew for prayer in Iju . After praying for me , he said I needed a shaving stick and a handkerchief to perform the spiritual exercise , which I took to him.

“The pastor told me that he wanted to use my hair to perform some spiritual work that would solve my spiritual problem. On the night of that first day we got there, he asked me to take off my clothes in the presence of my mother to enable him pray for me in the mission house.

“Since that day , he has been asking me to come for deliverance and when I got there, he would ask me to remove my clothes and lie on the bed. He would lie on me Unclad and be praying for me.

“On the seventh day, he shaved the hair of my private part and my armpit hair and put the hair in the white handkerchief. After that, we had sexual intercourse and after the intercourse, he asked me to go and bury the hair in the handkerchief”

She said she got pregnant a month after the sexual intercourse but aborted the baby without her husband’s consent. She added that her husband found out and sent her packing.

The lawsuit filed by kidnapper Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike aka Evans, against the police has been granted by a Federal High court in Lagos.

Recall Evans through his lawyer, Olukoya Ogungbeje had filed a fundamental human rights lawsuit against the Nigerian police, IGP Odris over illegal detention without proper trial.

The presiding judge, Justice Abdulaziz Anka, dismissed police argument that the case was not ripe for hearing due to the Inspector-General of Police and the Nigeria Police Force being served with court papers in Lagos rather than in Abuja.

He upheld the argument by Evans’ lawyer that the IGP Idris and the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) were rightly served the papers.

Justice Anka also agreed with Ogungbeje that Mr. Emmanuel Eze, who appeared for the 3rd and 4th respondents in the case, had no right to speak for the IG and the NPF, which were joined in the suit as the 1st and 2nd respondents respectively.

He stated that the hearing of the suit will proceed on Wednesday as there is enough proof of service to the NPF and IGP.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), has embarked on a nationwide indefinite strike.

The strike was announced today, 14th of August, 2017, by the union’s President Biodun Ogunyemi, following meetings and deliberations over the weekend at the National Executive Council (NEC) in Abuja.

According to Biodun Ogunyemi said: “During the strike, there shall be no teaching, no examination and no attendance of statutory meetings of any kind in any of our branches.”

In a document titled: “Strike Bulletin No.1”, which was signed and issued bythe president stated that the strike action was to be a total, comprehensive and indefinite action whereby no form of academic activities including teaching, attendance of any meeting, conduct and supervision of any examination at any level, supervision of project or thesis at any level should take place at any of the nation’s universities.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo says the world is coming to an end and he’s getting ready for the second coming of Christ.

Obasanjo said this during the 2017 Camp Meeting Concert by Apostolic Faith Church Choir and Orchestral at the Camp Ground in Igbesa, Ogun State.

He urged Nigerians to be prepared as he is ready to join heavenly choir to sing praises of the lord. He said:

“You have to be fully prepared for the second coming of our Lord, there is no compromise.

“I have a friend who will always say that when we get to heaven that we will be exhausted praising God and it will be like a prison and will be very boring.

“But what I have seen this afternoon by the choir, I will want to go to heaven and join the hosts to sing.

“If this is an example of what praising God in heaven will be, then I want to be part of it. If what I have seen here is an indication of how heaven will be, I will like to go to heaven.

“Jesus Christ came to the world to show us the way to salvation and eternal life. We have a good heritage and we have everything to be proud of.”

He added that Nigeria cannot be saved unless God is invited into the lives of many individually and collectively.

“We have a lot of things wrong with this country, if all Nigerians are sincere.

“Nigeria can be fixed by God but we have to invite Him into our lives. What we have to do about this country is in our hands.

“Gods grace abounds when we do not abuse it.”

Steve Ayorinde, the Lagos State Commissioner for Information says men should stop sucking their wives breasts and allow their children breast feed well.

He stated this during a Breastfeeding Awareness Campaign organized by the Lagos chapter of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ).

The commissioner who was represented by Mrs Toro Oladapo, a former NAWOJ President and Director, Public Affairs, Lagos Ministry of Information, urged women to breastfeed their babies rather than their husbands.

A ritualists has reportedly been burnt alive at Obadeyi Ajala, Ijaiye end of the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway after a highway sweeper discovered kidnappers den around a canal

An underground ritualist den has been discovered on Tuesday, a highway sweeper with the Lagos State Waste Management Agency who raised the alarm when she heard the voice of a woman calling for help from the canal.

However, the a suspected kidnapper fled from the canal before he was caught by a mob and set ablaze before the arrival of the police at the scene.

A young man Adeyinka Grandson, leader of The Young Yorubas for Freedom says Yoruba’s are no longer interested in the restructuring of Nigeria.

The Young Yorubas for Freedom is an affiliate of Movement for Oduduwa Republic as well as Yoruba Liberation Command.

The man highlighted some plans made by the group in order to achieve its set aims, adding that Yorubas want to agitate for their own country.

He added that if Yoruba youths are attacked, the group will contaminate the Hausa and Igbo air space.

This comes shortly after a Yoruba group, Yoruba Liberation Command (YOLICOM), declared the decision of the Yorubas to secede from Nigeria to form Oduduwa Republic with immediate effect.
