Sanol you don't need to worry as long as u submitted original documents. Latest 22nd of September 2011 you should be getting a reply. 18days exclude weekends and public holidays. Mit is well jare

When I read ur message I knew it was serious business and that is a question to be asked because it is the reason for going thru this visa application stress. Justwise I am of the opinion that you make this whole explanation so that we don't lose focus on d reason for UK postgrad with part time job and other hustle.

A friend who applied on d 9th Aug is in the air now abroad Virgin air and is with cash of 1260GBP, 46kg free load and a hand bag, He took of 10.20am to LHR. Those who applied btw 15th Aug-19 Aug be expectant next week for Good news.

I am of the opinion that the suspension of application is over. It was last monday due to techical hitch let's not be bothered.

You can go to vfs and I am sure ur application will be taken. Let's all hope for the best news&be prayerful.

I just started counting down my 28days today because I the last tranche of money was deposited yesterday. I will be making my application on the 17th August 2011 and my school resumes 12th september 2011. further to this my CAS also states that i submit only my certified original degree certificate.

I want to ask
1. will there be enoygh time for application processing and grant of visa from 17th aug to 9th sept? Can i still apply on that date?

2. Does it mean i dont need to submit any other acedemic document except my degree certificate as stated on the CAS or are there other acedemic documents ( SSCE result, etc) to be submitted though not stated in the CAS. The CAS stated I dont need to show proof of my english ability to the UKBA. Pls clarify what documents I should submit?

I dont think so. As long as you had the required sum needed in your account UKBA will verify the conversion.

@phraoh,
OandA converter is a currency conerter that has updates on rates. The UKBA uses the conversion rate as the day of your submission to convert the currency to GBP.

For example if on 19th July 1 GBP= 256 Naira, then your maintenance fund and tution balance is 9200GBP just multiply that by 256 to get how much you much have untouched in your account.

That is to the best of my knowledge.

Hi. You said in your last post that we cant use a CAS that is more than a month old. I thought a CAS is valid for 6 months.

Please clarify because I got my CAS on 7th June 2011 and am waiting for my balance to mature for 28 days before I make my application late July or early August.

I am sure you signed the last page of declaration. Where can I print out the new application form? with the past of declaration or we can use the old application form?

Thanks for the reply. I can pay my visa fee on the spot not at the bank? What of biometrics? Bank statement? Do I need to print the CAS and put in d application? I can envelope it from home or I should get to the venue?
