Celebrities / Shola Shobawale Beheaded. How True Is It? by bionic: 2:48pm On Dec 01, 2008
over the wekend it was that shola shobowale, the popular yoruba actress, known for role as Toyin Tomato in the TV drama super story. was said to have been beheaded alogside the other Ngerian convicted of drug trafficking in saudi arabia.
i dont know if anyoe has information as regards this startling news.sola shobowale has been out of circulationboth in the society and in te movie industry, hence the rumore that she was serving time in jail in either england or saudi arabia.
please how true is this story?
Culture / Re: Tips On Dating A Nigerian Man by bionic: 12:57pm On Oct 16, 2008
one thing i know, every culture, man or woman; we all have our issues and personally i dont understand why we should wash our dirty linen not just publicly but globally.
what exactly do we expect to gain form this reputation assassination? i wonder.
whether africaans, naija, causasian, chinko, everybody own full him body.man na man, the same everywhere.
so please give naija and its men or its women a break.
am not sure the creator of this site intended for this portal, an avenue to damage naija and naijas as a whole.

we can be critical but in rational ways, and for we the responders(if such a word exists), lets not get carried, cos insulting the poster is not very mature and further tarnishes the image of our beloved green-white-green
a word is enough, they say
i have said my piece

Family / Re: Husband In Nite Clubs/discos by bionic: 1:30pm On Jun 09, 2008
m gonna say this just once, i dont know who sheniqua, and co, i mean those it seems are not impresed with leila but am gonna say this, this is a public forum, and last i checked , we has sth called freedom of speech except of course in Naija, where this rights can be infringed upon under certain circumstance.(thats a mater for another day). so my advice to them is, whatever the poor chic has said on this thread doesnt mean or allow for us to be unruly with our tongues. this chic na foreigner, she needs some clarity, give it to her nicesly and not harshly, cos wat u guys are doing is further feuling the already rotten image, pple have about us.
as leilah, seeking explanation in terms of race for every unruly and animalistic action ur husband metes out on u, s totally awgwash!!!. cos everyman on the face of the earth, has the natural tendeny to cheat, adultery, wife batter, abuse, harrass tye list is endelss, so pls stop looking for answers that are unwarranted.look in wards and try to make amends.
sad though u chose the bad nigerain egg, it doesnt mean that every man in nigeria or from his tribe or wit his physique is wat your husband is.
i hope i have been able to convince and not confuse of the above.

Family / Re: My Friend Consistently Beats Up Her Mum! by bionic: 5:32pm On May 02, 2008
here is wat i say:
i have nothing to say to help ou or ur friend, other than tell u to switch ur focus on your friends mum, else she might be in be 6ft under before u blink
as weird, strabge and mytic this story is, i kinda belive it.
i read 90% of the thread, and the one thing am gonna ask to do to save ur pal's ma' is to ask why she's concerned about protecting her family name or reputation, cos believ it or not, that reputation, pride and wateva was long gone the moment her kid hit her. so if she gives as much as a penny value to her life or for her other kid, she should make a big court case, metal case and public scence form this.thats her only means to escape, send the kid back to naija, were she can get a good beat up for as much as slightly expressing her thuggery to the public. here jungle justice rules.
one more thin, there is a family secret and if u want to truly solve this issue, inverstigate that secrecy, then u'll mos-def make a head way in reolving this trauma.
and its only in uk this can happen, doesnt she have neighbours, dont they hear scream when she's been beating? why dont call 911. oh naija, her neighbours would have long time clipped this evil wind blowing in ur gal's brains.
Family / Re: Do You Have A Step Mum? by bionic: 3:05pm On Apr 30, 2008
one thing i'll say, is that, this is the first thread ave read that pple have bored their minds without much criticsm. i cant really say i had a step mum, but i had a stepdad, who made it a duty to disengage me from my mum's love, and i tell u, he tried so hard. i ran away from home, came back, stayed away from home, cos i just never did anything right. when he couldnt find fault, he began to make up stories and guess wat the cheapest lie you can tell against a young teenager is that she's promiscous. so much wahala, so it came as a shock after my mum passed that he insisted i stay with him, so i sort of had a stepmum. guess that must be my mum's death having an effect on his thinking, cos right after the mourning was over, took himself a woman friend, who had kids as well, soon enough she moved in with us, and in no time, her kids began to experince the fire i went thru. my sort of step mum, was not a woman who wasted her time on niceties, so we made a deal to avoid each other. thankfully i was semi financially independent, so i had no cause to rely on either of them for cash. but the malice, backbiting and gossip almost made me mental. i just stayed away from home.
i just was a dull good for nothing chic as far as he was concerned, even when i began a radio-tv face, i still didnt get it right according to him.
his pain, was he never really got me to subject myself to him.
then the one way to get at me came, when i fell pregnant, without much ado, he told me to pack out of his house. today i look back at the gang up, the malicious lies, deciet and am here still standing tall, doing well, living well and my dreams intact.
i forgive him, but i am not sure i want to have anything to do with him again.
even when i took my kid to visit, the reception was so cold, why? cos we were looking so good and so well. infact, they just see me on tv, or hear am travelling someplace. and am getting married soon and aint inviting them.
bottom line is, we've all been thru shitty times, but we learn, and they only make us tougher and a story to share to encourage others.
iave read some sad stories today but hey i can only say this, lets get over our griefs, and ensure that we dont make this same mistakes our parents made, by making sure we look before we leap. and pls let God do the directing and not you.
thank you!! smiley

Family / Re: Help, My Sister Is In Love With Our Cousin by bionic: 3:25pm On Dec 10, 2007
this is a candid advice. i think this happens to alot of gals, even on thread, howver they are busy casting stones.
anyways, most of us girls, our first crush more often than not happens to be our cousin, close family friend. i have a ben a victim of it.was during my puberty days, but ofcourse i was too naive, scared to even pursue such lucid aspirations.somehow i got over it. i went a mixed sch, met finer boys had more silent crushes, infact i was obsesed with a dude at some point. and after 9 months, the fela asked me out, gues wat i did i totally refuesd, cos i tot it fly to say no, to any form of toasting even if ur were dying quietly on the inside.

there is no need for prayers, your sister needs to experience some more boys/men. not by sleeping around ofcourse.and your cousin ned sto be aware of how he makes her feel, hopefully he would be weary of the intended incest and put a end to the crush or obsession.
hows that for advice.
dont listen anyone of these people quik to insult, they are just hypocrites, aint we all?(at some point in our lives)
Career / Re: Office Dating: For Or Against? by bionic: 3:16pm On Dec 10, 2007

Romance / Re: Can't I Marry My Girlfriend? She's Fifteen by bionic: 3:20pm On Nov 28, 2007
forgive but u are a sicko! complete arse!!!!!!!!!!!
i dont have problems with u dating a 15yr old, when i was 15 i met my first boyfrined, and cause of my height and frame, i didnt quite look my age, hence my 1st boyfrind was 10yrs older, but even at dat, realising i was so young, he never tried to do anything stupid, as a mata of fact, he smartly redefined our relationship into that of mentoring and tutoring.
i didnt lose my virginity until 7years later. wat is the essence of my story, that is a real man.
you even have the effontery to say on this thread, that u disflowered her at 14, your really crazy!!!.
then again, the little girl child should be spanked good. whats the hurry.
dont u know she might have medical complications if she falls pregnant., dont u read or at least go to sch?
absolutely nothing wrong with falling love, but there is evrything wrong with fucking an underage.

worse still,u have d nerve to ask advice.i dont believe you. @31? you should cover ur face in shame. i cant afford that u meet my 1yr old, very beautiful child, u just might fall in love and start sex under pretext of love. who knows u might have brainwashed the girl.

look, her parents are quite daft, if they are aware of the sexual pleasure u derive from their child, but if they let u marry d child and u cant wait for  year, then go jump into the sea,its right under the 3rd main land bridge.
Romance / Re: Can Adultery Help My Marriage? by bionic: 3:03pm On Nov 28, 2007

biko, no take ur sexual urge take cause katakata for yasef n family.
it will pass. afetr d babay arrives, shagging resumes, then u can talk to her about it. even talk to her wen she is in a confrtable mood.
i no how pregnancy feels. am a mum. so discuss.
am sure no woman wantsto share her husband talk more lose him
a word is enough

Family / Re: How Do I Leave The Mother Of My Baby? by bionic: 2:59pm On Nov 20, 2007
first, am not going to call names, cos there's absolutely no word, phrase that can descirbe your inhumaness(is there is word like that)
why do u men behave like this, she is not the kain of girl you, but she is the kind of chic your blokus will erect and penerate to the point of pregnancy.
you are totally in all ramifications DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!!
your excuse is mediocre, lame and mundane, it just goes to defines the intensity of your weaknes and ineptitude.
anyway, you can get your ass of the chic, but if you dont take care of her and her baby, am going to curse you every waking moment of life.
BANZA!!!!!!!!!!!
IT IS MEN LIKE YOU WHO MAKE IT DIFFICULT for other men.
just ctaer for them, am sure she will find somebody better than, and trust , you will regret ruining her life.ZULU
