It was a disciplined performance. Lagerback got his tactics spot on. With a little bit of luck we would have drawn or even won the game. I don't know whaat most of you guys are talking about. This was Argentina remember (the top seeded team in our group)

This really isn't the time to start criticizing. It's to late for that. We have to start supporting this team whether we agree with the selections/ formations or not. The coach knows what he is doing and believe it or not it is IMPOSSIBLE for any coach to please every Nigerian because different people have different opinions. Hell NO! He is not. I've never liked that guy because he poses more than he plays. The last time he played a good game was during the under 20 world cup under Siasia. Since after the struggle between Man U and Chelsea over him, he lost his head and has not found it back till today. We need a real player in his place. And we need to ban him from Super Eagles permanently.

It doesn't matter if you like him or not. Mikel is the best player in the Nigerian team right now. He plays regularly in the highest level not to mention all the awards and trophies he has won in the past. Please I don't like his attitude too and I don't think we should rely on him too much but he is simply the best we have and the coaches know it.

Anyone who is happy to see Mikel go clearly knows nothing about football and definitely doesn't have the country's best wishes at heart. Even the likes of Aguero some days ago acknowledged that his team(Argentina) have to be wary of Mikel. Mikel was integral to our success at this tournament and his absence is a major loss.
 Those asking for anichebe to be his replacement don't know what they are talking about as anichebe is an average striker/winger who has a lot of commitment at best and Mikel is a midfielder. If anybody should be picked from the 7 dropped players it should be Ideye or Uche who can both play as attacking midfielders
