That a former government official has to resort to making stu.pid statement on social media just to get paid for impressions or clicks is quite sad
Worse is that this doo.fus worked for one of the best leaders in the history of this land

This is pointless
The man rejected national awards when he was alive

Heck he even turned 50 cent down
That is called principles

Business / Re: 'Obituary': See What A Loan Shark Did To One Of Their Defaulters by Branco6(m): 1:52pm On Apr 09
aremubabs:

What are you even jabbering on about?

Do you know how many Americans are in debts, from mortgage to student loans, etc. If lenders resort to cheap abuse, blackmails and all that, you think society will continue to function optimally?

No one is saying that it is good to owe money, but there are ways for recovering debt. Legitimate lenders take you to court to recover their loans. They don't resort to lies, falsehood and criminal defamation.

Did you know that all of these criminal loan sharks originated in China? The Chinese government had to send them packing when the citizens began to complain about abuse and all. The loan sharks ran to India. Same complaints. Indians were committing suicide because of lies and falsehood. The Indian government drove them out.

Look at Okash, for example. OKash ran to Kenya and began to terrorize the Kenyans, driving people to commit suicide, sometimes over loans not more than a dollar. As soon as you default, they fabricate lies and tarnish your image. The Kenyan government clamped down on OKash. A variant of OKash appeared in Nigeria and continued its onslaught until Nigerians began to cry up to the government.

FCCPC began to deal with the loan sharks. Go and check OKash now. Once you default, they wait until your debt is critical (I think 90 things or so), and serve you a court notice.

That is how it is done in sane countries. If you want to open a lending facility, especially one that gives unsecured loans, you need to understand that it is a very risky business. On no condition should desperation to retrieve your money make you lawless.

Defamation (libel), blackmail, and other tactics of these loan sharks are criminal offenses.
Even Tanzania and Mozambique had to chase them away

What has addressing you with your rank caused you- demotes or elevates you? This is sheer display of arrogancy and inferiority complex. You can't be a gentleman office even among your subordinates. A course they taught them in the NDA.

Perhaps the officer should go to the battle field to enable BH terrorists help him assert the peeps rank he is bragging about. What nonsense! Discipline have really degenerated in the military.

I think you may be confusing the Benin wall with the OTHER massive Nigerian wall, the Eredo Earthworks also known as Sungbo's Eredo, located near Ijebu Ode. wink

The queen who ordered its construction was Bilikisu Sungbo, and some have posited that she was the legendary Queen of Sheba. ('Ijebu' and 'Sheba' could well be referring to the same place.

'Sheba' sounds like what an oyinbo person would call Ijebu.

Sheba is Ethiopia tho
Just saying

Nathan2016:

There are many metrics to know a cosmopolitan state and one of them is through real estate rental ratio. Go to jiji and search for house for rent, input N1Million as your minimum price and search. Check the screenshot.

Ogun state has only 33 houses that are 1 million and above. In all the state.

Enugu has 573 houses for rent that are 1 million and above.

Both Anambra, Enugu and Imo has real estate that are price above 1 million naira than Ogun State.
