Crime / Re: 18-year Old Blessing John Sold Her Baby For N20,000 In Suleja by campella(m): 2:58pm On Feb 05, 2012
In my opinion, I do not see what these two have done wrong.
A helpless girl, who for being good offered her self to a useless guy.
She became pregnant. As God fearing as she is, she decided to keep the pregnancy.
If she had the intention of disposing of the baby, she would have done so long before the pregnancy got to 2 months.

And for the poor widow, if she was doing what she did criminally, she would not have gone to the extend of writing a legal document.
Would it had been better if the innocent child was thrown away for lizards to feed on?

The police are always wanting recognition.
Let them go to where is hottest and arrest those terrorizing the Nation.

My dear girl, you did the right thing. And You he widow, thanks for accepting to take care.

Funkymallam:

What crime was committed here? Cant see any.
She willingly gave d child out, since she cnt take care of her and even signed an agreement to get back d child later when she can care for her and she was helped with some cash for upkeeps.
Where is her family?

My dear, I wonder why people should be shouting fowl.

cool cool
Believe me, Buying a car is good but as one of us said earlier, depending on your income.
#2m can fetch you a nice car, land and to start something, if there you have good friends with worthy advice.
On the other hand, your wife's situation should be put into consideration.
How heavy is the pregnancy and when soon are you expecting?

To me the idea of these two is okay, if you get something very economical, not the type that would keep drying your pockets instead of adding

All the same, I wish you the best.

Both are bad but people with cancer get more love than people with HIV.

If not for the stigma, HIV would not be worse than hepatitis or syphilis.

The stigma kills faster than the virus itself.

That is if you allow yourself to be mocked.
I am not saying it is better, but I believe cancer should be given the same publicity.

What caused the divorce in the first place

What makes you think another divorce is not on the way?
My dear, your man is yet to come. What you have for your boss is nothing but lust.

If he was in love with you as you with him, he would not in any way assist you in getting away from that organization.
The fact that he is a muslem, you should have seen the hand writing on the wall.
The guy is married probably to more than 3 wives.

What do we say?
Do we blame those who chose night to travel?
Do we blame the govt for not putting adequate security on ground?
I must say we all have a share of the blame.
If we avoid night travel, we are surely going to reduce the rate at which people lost their lives.

I pray for these gentle souls to rest in peace.
This is what the national assembly should be looking at and not for tenure elongation and finding ways of cutting corners.

I sympathize with the families dearly. What a great lost to the NATION?

T be sincerely fellows
This is my true stand
That the MID-NITE talks should yield positive results
Reason being that only the poor masses would feel the impact of the strike.
However, Govt on their part should see reason and do what labour is asking for.
We can always source for funds in emergency situations.
This should be regarded as emergency.

Imagine just telling a silly story about sex to a girl or boy friend, the reactions from both.
How much more wife or husband?

Truly, most confessions are not worth it.
The priest is the rightful; person, and your God to do all the confessions.

Some people who react so rashly to some confessions are those that commit them the most.

My believe is that what you do know that will bring the slightest pain to your happiness especially in marriage,
avoid saying even to your best friend or family.

We must learn to be a little cautions.

If she is keeping both of you, who is going to be known in the society, and who is to be the secret lover

so when result komot we go say , JEGA is not "JUST ELECT GOODLUCK AGAIN",

I still don't trust the JEGA bobo after the Delta look away he did from all the malpractices a few months ago

Now after the Security council meeting, they now have an excuse to send Military Police and MOPLOL to scare the people away from following their votes until counted a planned due to the tension the elction shift has generated, 9ice 1 PDP, /GEJ,

Tell me who go follow MOPOL when MOPOL say go back

this stinks and i can see through it big time

INEC is acting, (how van you be expecting a plane with most of the materials needed 3 days to an election, if not that u a risking the electorates rights,

N85Billion naira spent and things are arriving 3 days before Election, Which kind Project Management be dat,

its smelly very smelly,  :- and I am waiting for JEGA PART 2,

wetin he talk wey den dey talk say treason, na lie the bobo no offer to resign, na dem leak d made up story 2 give JEGA some kind of credibility, den they will all finish their passy passy under under, as Fela talk am

we are ready for them ds time, do or die, BB, camera, everything, utube, google, iphone, j phone, betamax sef, and vhs,

My brother, you get personal problem with GEJ?
To me all arms of government should be blamed.
Who in this country has ever been courageous enough to do what Jega did.
I give the man KUDOS

With voting already in some states, the former INEC chairman would have gone ahead to announce the results.
Jega has made Nigerians to know the difference between ballot and result sheets.

Even if INEC is to take the blame, for the man publicly admitting the blame, I think he has done what no man has ever done in this country, not even IBB?

Dear Valued Subscriber

Re: Annual Subscription price increase for DStv

It has come to our attention that there are some queries around the DStv subscription price increase that comes into effect on 1 April, and we would like to ensure that the truth is communicated to you, our valued subscriber. Most of all we would like to reassure you of our best intentions and reaffirm our commitment to Nigeria, which is clearly demonstrated through our continuous investments in the country.

In the last 5 years we have only had one price increase 18 months ago. Since then, despite the high inflation rate averaging around 11.95%, we have not increased subscription prices until now. Our current subscription price increase percentage is well below the inflation average with a 5 to 8% increase on DStv Premium bouquet.

Additionally, we have added a total of 18 new channels over the last 18 months to the DStv bouquets, thus giving you, our subscriber, even more value and choice than ever before. These channels include channels made in Nigeria and showcased in Africa - displaying Nigeria's ingenuity and artistry; these include AfricaMagic Yoruba, AfricaMagic Hausa, NN24 and Sound City. The range of newly launched international channels includes Discovery World, iConcerts and Afro Music.

Over and above this, MultiChoice is the only operating pay TV company that has invested in the latest television technology with High Definition (HD) television and launched the following channels - M-Net HD, SuperSport HD, i-Concerts HD, Discovery Showcase and SuperSport HD Extra - thus ensuring that Nigeria is up there with the best internationally in terms of access to the latest television experience and technology. The introduction of HD channels and the HD PVR decoder has revolutionized the television viewing experience of our subscribers. But that is not the end of our increased offering - in April we intend to add another three exciting new channels; so please keep a look out for these announcements.

There is currently no other pay television company in Nigeria that has made as much investment in the production of local content and infrastructure. Over the last three years the business has invested over $100 million in the coverage of Nigerian sports, including basketball and football; has bought the latest outside broadcast (OB) vans to show live events, built studios and trained technicians. Our investment has not only been in sport, but also in Nigerian productions such as Tinsel, Naija Sings, Jacobs Cross, Comedy Club live in Lagos, Moments with Mo and Jara. We are also excited about the upcoming Big Brother Africa which has made many Nigerian stars!

Our mission is to make pay television accessible to all Nigerians and to offer our subscribers a range of DStv bouquets which deliver both world class Nigerian and international content. We have stuck to this mission and our lowest cost bouquet - DStv Access - currently offers more channels than our nearest rival's premium bouquet for only N1,500.

There has also been propaganda in the market that the price in Nigeria is more expensive than other countries, we would like to point out that Nigeria's subscription of $66 is 21% less than the subscription paid in South Africa which is currently R559 ($80.12) (SA has had annual increases). It is also important to note that the DStv service in Nigeria has the most number of channels, including HD and Nigerian channels.

MultiChoice Nigeria is a Nigerian company and is the only pay television operator that has put significant investments into the upliftment and development of communities - this we have done through our schools projects and support of the Sickle Cell Foundation. We have also helped build sustainable small and medium businesses around the industry with the financing and training of a DStv SuperDealer network which are owned and operated regionally by independent Nigerian entrepreneurs to support the DStv customer experience for you, our valued subscribers.

DStv has been in Nigeria for 15 years and has made massive investments to enable us to provide a world-class home television entertainment experience, we have many exciting new plans for the future to ensure you receive the best possible experience from DStv. In order to ensure the continued viability of our business and a marginal return on the investments that we have made, and are continuing to make, we unfortunately have to increase subscription prices from time to time. As has happened, we have always endeavoured to keep these as low as possible, whilst giving you so much more.

We are most grateful for your continued support and will continue to provide a service that is consistent, efficient, and accessible.

Yours sincerely
