Afam4eva:

I'm not doubting this man's story as there are similar stories that i've heard but i think it's imperative that i highlight something that does not add up.

Pls, when did we start using blackberry phones in Nigeria cos it seems this guy was referring to his childhood or teenage-hood and even if he wasn't. I was able to infer that he stayed 6 years in prison way after they had stolen a blackberry phone and gone into hardcore robbery. I may be wrong though.

I agreewith you totally, bros.
He is a liar but not good enough.
We all know that judging from what this man said and becoming a 'priest' he is not less than 30

And by the way, what kind of priest, the Roman Catholic or Apostolic, or the 3 months ordained pastors?

AOP, stop deceiving and confusing people.

From what you are saying, you are practically not happy with the way your God created you.
Big girls are supposed to be proud and shinny.
Just don't look down on yourself.
This guy must have read your mind and actions that is why he is acting that way
How long have you been together?

Just tell him what you want and when he doesn't accept, quit as advised

The designs are not what we are talking about now.
Where these things tested and seen to fly?
Which aviation officer was there to see that they were fit to fly?
However, if these machines can be made to even ply the street, then the propellers have to give way.

Kudos on their part, anyway.

6) completion of Enugu- Onitsha express way. Current status, bridge head to upper iweka section EXPANDED and COMPLETED, while work is ongoing at other failed sections.
7) reconstruction of Enugu-Ph expressway. Current status: still several bad portions but remedial work ongoing now, while we await plans for full reconstruction
cool restoration of the eastern rail line, ditto rail transport across the country. Current status: ongoing
9) construction of 2nd Niger bridge. Current status: actual ground braking and work expected to commence March next yr.
10) consolidation of democracy in Nig thru free and fair elections. Current status: delivered. In conclusion my vote and support for Jonathan has yielded tremendous benefits for me and my people. This is pure greed.

Where would they have stored the commodity if they had succeeded?

Man, this is awful. Only God knows if some families did not take all the people along.

May those they left behind find it easy to bear the lost.

Advocate666, I want to believe you that the state is governed by another person not from the Biafran Region?
This is when your so called Biafra Brother would have brought things to bear by performing exceedingly different from other governors from other parts of the country to bring home his Biafran ideology.

The thing there is that your people are full of GREED. They want to have it all to themselves.

There are better alternatives IMO

Thats how one of them started a thread last week, that he/she feels like committing suicide, cos of one paper, i adviced her to take hypo or DD force, maybe she's one of them..

What an advice.
You did well, but I hope you ended up saying the right after that nasty advice?

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: How Did You Get Your Present Job? by campella(m): 1:29pm On Jul 11, 2012
Dear Nairalanders, to be sincere, this is one great topic i am pleased to be associated with.
I believe it will go a long way to help those who are in search of their first or those wanting to change jobs.

I got my present job through a friend who asked that I apply online.
I did as instructed with my CV.
I also placed calls to the admin officer who wanted to how I got her number.

However, I was invited for interview.
We were four in number who were invited.
One of the ladies among those that interviewed us was blunt to say that I am good but there was pressure from above to take my second.
She assured me that she will call on me whenever the opportunity came up.

I had forgotten about the organization and was on my way to Abuja for an interview when a call came in from this lady, asking if I was still interested in working for them.
I said yes and a date was fixed for my interview.
Al I was required of was to update my application and other relevant documents.
I got the job.

To my greatest surprise,I was to replace the guy they took in place of me.

That is to say, what God has designed for you will always be yours.

I want to also say that be careful when you seek.

For those still on the line, your time is almost there.

[quote author=odumchi]I think Akwa Ibom and Cross River could've worked out an amicable solution to their problem. Maybe the oil wells could've been shared?

That would have been the only logical thing.
It was done during the reign of Donald and Attah.
These present scrubs of politicians are selfish and want only their pockets full

This is truly going to bring enmity between these two sister states,.

If I understand clearly, the poster asked which is the safest and best cities.
he did not mention where money can be made easily.
If you want to talk about making money, after Lagos, come Aba, and Onitsha.

Where are you from?
Kidnapping you say, where will you place owerri and Aba?

Crime / Re: Police Uncover ‘baby Factory’ In Rivers by campella(m): 2:37pm On Jul 03, 2012
Baby Factory I say No.

These babies are not manufactured but given birth to by young girls.
Some of these girls are victims of young men who would deceive and lore them to bed with the pretense of marrying them then push them out when they get pregnant. grin grin grin
Some are taken to this places by their parents, who were not aware of their daughter"s pregnancy during the early stage and who have tried aborting but could not.
I am a living witness to a pastor and his wife who according to them never wanted the church to discover that their daughter was pregnant took her to where she can safely deliver and gift the baby out.

The issue of kidnapping must have just come in or the girls found in the place must have been told to say they were kidnapped to make the offenders more guilty.
The couple must have refused to settle the police or were tired of the constant extortion from the police, because they operate with shoulders high as they are well covered by the police.
T say the police uncover, it is not true. They all know about these places and some of them are beneficiaries.

The only way to get to the root of this is for the couple to mention their customers, which they would not because they are certainly going to leave police custody in less than 48hrs.
Shit happens always. Search light should be in every location.

But wait, Is this not better than terminating the lives of the innocent souls?
I see nothing in willingly giving a baby out to a willing family instead of killing it.
Most of these bastards become future leaders.

I rest my case because this issue has no end. lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed

Have you bordered to check the source?
Some of these so called pure water are more contaminated than the water you get direct from a bore hold.
Though they all have nafdac numbers, their production pattern stings.
There is nothing one can do for now.
Price regulation should be from the makers, not the retailers.

buzugee: you know the problem with people like you ? you have that ME ME ME ME ME ME ME mentality. its only about you. the suffering of others is irrelevant so long as you are not inconvenienced. look a few post above this one. there is the picture of a kid hawking water. now lets do the math. how much does the packaging wrap cost ? how much did it cost to get the water ice cold ? how about the suffering of the kid-how much does that cost ? how much on the percentage of the profit does the kid get ? all of this on 8 pence per sachet ? but i bet your punk azz wouldnt bat an eyelid when you pay your blackberry phone bills and when you drop major money to buy your girlfriend recharge card. get tha fockoutta here with yo lame azz

Sienna,
Everything you said is right.

What I want you to understand is that no one is ever willing to adjust his car from the original form.
The bad roads are just the cause of the adjustment.

In this regard, what then do you think can be done to avoid you running to the mech each time you travel?
Please say something as currently, my Toyota Camry is raised to avoid constant exhaust welding.

We rejected removal of fuel subsidy.
Now a whopping N888bn is budgetted again to
enrich dubious marketers.

Worst still, by December 2012, they will tell us that actual
subsidy payment has risen in excess of 2 trillion naira. Is that
what we want?

No body rejected the removal of subsidy.
The people on top have not at any time wanted to remove subsidy.
They were only trying to see how Nigerians would react.

Who told you that these elements were not and are not still benefiting from the subsidy?
Why do you think it has been difficult to come out with the real truth as regards this issue?

And as for speaking pidgin english, come on,wetin bad for dere ; smiley smiley? how many of them at the oyo house of assembly can speak concise, clear and standard english or make a statement without additional Yoruba accent overtaking the proper pronunciation e.g EIGHT as HEIT, HOUR as AWA, THE as DE
