Romance / Heart Of Grace Part 2 by charisville: 9:22am On Jun 09, 2013 |
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Colossians 3:16 Charis Ville Capsule Beloved, we have met with the person of Grace, who is Jesus Christ. Grace brought, presented and gave us salvation, that we now enjoy. But believers receive this gift from Christ and move ahead, instead of referring back to the giver, who is able to assist us in completing the process. Many believers continue to live the saved life- Zoe life, without allowing grace teach them how to live this life. Like the story of the ten lepers in Luke 17:11-19; Jesus(Grace) met with these ten men, whose lives were write offs. They had no hope of getting out the shame and ridicule, that surrounded them. They cried out to Grace for mercy and Grace responded by giving them a word; "go shew yourselves unto the priests". They accessed salvation for their needs, by faith and whilst they were on the way, they got cleansed. Saints, nine lepers were excited by the gift they had just received, but only one of the ten had the heart of Grace: he came back with thanksgiving. He did not forget his source and giver, i.e. Jesus, Grace Himself. Beloved, a heart of Grace is needful- heart of thanks toward Grace, Himself. There is wholeness in giving thanks to our Daddy God. *To be continued* Prayer: Jesus the source of my faith, hope and existence; I thank You for Your gracious words over my life. I continually give thanks to You in all situations, in Jesus Name. Email: charisville@gmail.com Url: www.charisvillecapsules.org CVM Blackberry PIN: 26655112 Shalom, Charis Ville Ministries. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another [t]in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Colossians 3:16 Charis Ville Capsule Beloved, when you think of all the Lord has done for you, all He has brought you through from the beginning of the year to this point, you should have every cause to bless Him and to be thankful. We usually wait to see the "big" miracles we hoped and prayed for, without seeing the little things that God has already done for us. Another word for grace is gratitude or thanks; you cannot have the grace of God working in your life and not be a thankful person. One of the evidence of a grace filled life, is the amount of thanks and gratitude that comes out of that life. Our older brother, Jesus, always gave thanks to the Father and miracles, signs and wonders, followed His thanksgiving. The key to unlocking the treasures of our Daddy God is thanksgiving: He inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). Beloved, let your heart be full of grace (thanks) to the Lord. We shouldn't thank Him once in a while or only when those "big" miracles we prayed for come to pass. Let grace fill your hearts, saints and watch the miracles flow, as you thank our daddy God. Declare " My Heart is Full of Grace" Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your grace that floods my heart, for all You've done and for all You are doing, in Jesus Name. Religion / Righteousness By Believing Part 4 by charisville: 8:49am On Jun 07, 2013 |
Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Romans 4:4-5 Charis Ville Capsule Beloved, for by grace are we saved through believing; and not of ourselves or our works: for it is the gift of God.(Ephesians 2:. Saints, you are righteous and holy, not by your own works but by Faith. I know by now, you believe that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. But do you also believe that you became holy the moment you got saved? The word saints means "Holy ones"; those separated unto God, by God. Ephesians 1:13 states; "In Him you also who have heard the Word of Truth, the glad tidings (Gospel) of your salvation, and have believed in and adhered to and relied on Him, were stamped with the seal of the long-promised Holy Spirit" Saints, the Holy Spirit cannot be stamped or sealed in anyone who is not holy. Holiness or sainthood is not an attainment; it is a state into which God in grace calls men, the moment they become born of God (born again). Beloved, God has saved and called us with a holy calling: not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began (2 Timothy 1:9). Always remember that right believing will also produce right living. Declare "I am righteous and holy" Prayer: Thank You my heavenly father for calling me with a holy calling. I believe that You've made me holy and this produces holy results in my life in Jesus Name. Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Romans 4:4-5 Charis Ville Capsule Beloved, God is a merciful father and a loving God. In Acts Chapter 10, a centurion named Cornelius was mentioned; he was a devout man, doing the right things. In the sight of men, he was a righteous man: he prayed to God and even fasted (Acts 10:30). But he wasn't saved (Acts 11:14) because he didn't believe in Jesus, obviously because he hadn't heard about Him. The angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, telling him to send for Peter. Peter's assignment was to tell him about Jesus. Why didn't God justify him by his good deeds? God is all powerful and there is nothing impossible for Him to do. But God had to follow the principle of Imputation of His Righteousness, through believing in Christ Jesus, not by works. When Peter spoke to Cornelius and his household about Jesus, they believed and were saved, receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit. No matter who you are or how many good deeds you've done, you need to believe in Christ Jesus to be saved. "If you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart, believe (adhere to, trust in and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). Like Cornelius, you can make up your mind to be saved as you read this today. Don't hold back, believe! Prayer: Lord Jesus, I believe that You came to die for my sins. I confess with my mouth that You are Lord over my life. Thank You Lord for I am now saved, in Jesus Name. Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Romans 4:4-5 Charis Ville Capsule Child of God, it's so amazing to know that we've been declared righteous by God. It's more interesting to also note that this righteousness does not come from works, if not, it won't be counted as a FREE gift but as a reward. Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. Our father Abraham wasn't declared righteous by his works; it was because he believed God. Today, we are not made righteous by our works, whether good or bad, but by believing in Christ Jesus. We know the will and purpose of our Abba Father; "that everyone who sees the Son and believes in, cleaves to, trusts in and relies on Him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up [from the dead] at the last day" (John 6:40 AMP). So for you to be raised by Christ Jesus you have to believe (cleave to, trust in and rely on) Jesus. It doesn't have to do with your works whether good of bad. In today's devotional, verse 5 of Romans 4 states; God justifies the "UNGODLY" by faith (believing). So it doesn't matter what you've done in the past, or how far you feel you are from God. Permit me to say this, "the more ungodly you are, the more qualified you are to receive God's righteousness, if you believe". Will you believe? Prayer: Thank You my Abba for loving me even when I was dead in sin. I believe Your love for me every minute of the day, in Jesus Name. Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Romans 4:4-5 Charis Ville Capsule Beloved, it should be settled in your heart and mind that our daddy God loves you so much. His love is not just word based but action based. He expressed His love for us, when He gave His Only beloved Son, who died for our sins to reconcile us back to God. He sacrificed His ONLY beloved, so that now He can have MANY beloved Sons and daughters. The payment or wages of sin is death and as the just God, He had to punish our sins. But as a loving Father, He knew we couldn't save ourselves; we needed divine help. Jesus was sent to die for our sins according to the definite, fixed and settled plan: the fore-knowledge of God (Acts 2:23). It was God's plan for Jesus to take the punishment that was meant for us. Isn't. He a loving Father? After He punished Jesus for our sins, He calls out to us to believe on the finished work of Christ. This belief is all that is needed to be saved and have His righteousness imputed on us. You don't have to work to become the righteousness of God; it's a FREE gift. Why is it so hard for you to believe that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus? Just Believe! Right believing will always produce right living. Prayer: My daddy God, I thank You for Your free gift of righteousness imputed on me. I live by Your grace, believing in Your love in Jesus Name. Romance / Your Steps Are Ordered Part 3 by charisville: 3:38pm On Jun 03, 2013 |
The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Psalm 37:23 Charis Ville Capsule A songwriter wrote, " I have known, the Father cares for me. Through it all, He's always there for me. God has been good to me". Beloved, God cares for us. From His overwhelming kindness, flows this desire that our steps be ordered aright. As believers, we shouldn't be afraid to take that step, even if it leads to the "valley of the shadow of death". Psalm 23.4, "Even when I must walk through the darkest valley, I fear no danger, for you are with me; your rod and your staff reassure me". If there's any time that we would be most reassured of Christ's love, it's during storms; because His staff draws us closer and His arms are wrapped around us, shielding from the tempest. A man once had a dream that he was with Jesus on the beach. He noticed that previous footprints were synonymous with past events in his life. He noted that during troubled times in his life, just one set of footprints was seen versus two sets at other times. He asked the Lord, why this was so. Jesus answered," I was carrying you during those troubled times" So , we shouldn't be scared of moving ahead, taking that next step. When all seem dark and cold; quicken your gait, skip along, run into the embrace of your Daddy God. He's our ever present guide. Prayer: Thank You Lord for loving me and caring for me through the storm. I rest in the embrace of Your love in Jesus Name. The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Psalm 37:23 Charis Ville Capsule Beloved, not only does our Daddy God order our steps, He is also interested in every area of our lives. Isn't it great that the Creator of the universe and Lord of all, is interested in our well-being? This ought to give you confidence, to face every situation and see it as bread, because you have the backing of the Almighty. The issue is not that our Father is not ready and present to help, but that we are not used to receiving from Him. We get busy trying to please a Heavenly Father, who is already delighted about us. Instead, we try to get people to talk to our Father, on our behalf. Won't it be disheartening, if your kids asked your neighbour to speak with you on their behalf, even though you all slept in the same house overnight? Sometimes we treat our Daddy God this way, because we've been misinformed about Him. Be confident, for the Alpha and Omega is on your side and His Holy Spirit is within you. Talk to Him about the slightest issues; He is waiting and ever ready to help His beloved- you. Prayer: My Daddy God, am overwhelmed by Your loving-kindness. My confident expectation of good is anchored on Your love, in Jesus Name. Email: charisville@gmail.com Url: www.charisvillecapsules.org CVM Blackberry PIN: 26655112 Shalom, Charis Ville Ministries. The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Psalm 37:23 Charis Ville Capsule Beloved, it's so refreshing to know that our steps are ordered of God. We are not like those who wander aimlessly. Our feet is established in the foundation of God's grace. Some believers might try to disqualify themselves from this grace, maybe because they think they are not godly enough to have their steps directed and ordered by daddy God. Just a reminder beloved, before you go on disqualifying yourself, your righteousness is not based on how good you are. It's based on the goodness of someone else- and that person is Jesus. He took on Himself all your sins, having committed no sin and He has given you His righteousness. The more you understand who you are, the more you would yield yourself to God's leading. The word used for "directs" in our text, is the word "established". The Lord not only orders your steps, He establishes them on grace, so you can stand firmly. Your standing firm beloved, is not by your own ability but through the ability of God's grace working in and through you. So beloved, rejoice for your steps are ordered, directed and established in grace. * To be continued* Prayer: My Daddy God, thank You for establishing my steps in grace. Romance / Believing - The Antidote To A Worried Heart Part 4 by charisville: 8:46am On May 31, 2013 |
Do not let your hearts be distressed. You believe in God; believe also in me. John 14:1 Charis Ville Capsule Beloved, there is power in believing; transformation occurs when we believe. The greatest miracle known to man, is that of salvation (being born again). This miracle came by just believing in Jesus. To change an individual's state In the natural, his/her belief system would have to change. This in turn changes the thought pattern, behaviour and character. Romans 12:2, "Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind". So, transformation comes with the renewal of the mind, through the word of God, i.e. it is based on the word being the belief system. In other words, what we believe about God really matters. Abraham was faced with the challenge of sacrificing his son, after he had waited many years to have him. He might have said, "God why are you being so wicked and cruel to me? You wouldn't have given me Isaac in the first place, you raised my hopes just to dash them". But, Abraham focused on God's faithfulness and he believed; being assured that even if he killed Isaac, God was able to raise him up again(Hebrews 11:17-19). Saints, this is how we ought to believe in Jesus. He is a friend that sticks closer than a brother, the one who holds the key of david, that opens a door and no man can shut it. Are you yearning for real transformation? Believe in Jesus with your heart, not with your head and begin to see real transformation in your life. Right believing will always produce right living. *to be continued* Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, I believe in You. I believe You came to die for me. Do not let your hearts be distressed. You believe in God; believe also in me. John 14:1 Charis Ville Capsule What issue makes your heart ache, causing agitation and worry? The only antidote to a troubled heart, as prescribed by Jesus, and that's "believing". When we believe in Jesus, it means we trust Him enough to cast all our cares and worries on Him. Jesus had just told the disciples about His departure and the kind of betrayal and death He would be facing. The news broke their hearts. But if they had really understood what all this signified, they would have known it was for the best. His going away created the better way; the way of righteousness and the new covenant. Saints, you have to continually see God's promise in that challenging situation. He has promised never to leave nor forsake you and all things are working together for your good. Stay on the promises of God, beloved. The truth is that, "many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivered him from them all". You might now think that you don't qualify for righteousness. But beloved, our righteousness has nothing to do with our works or deeds. It's a gift, purchased for us, by Jesus' obedience. The way to overcome in every spiritual warfare is to bring all thoughts and imagination to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). When you believe in Jesus' obedience, it produces your own obedience. Remember that right believing will always produce right living. *To be continued* Prayer: Lord thank You for the power of believing. I believe in the obedience of Jesus and my life is being transformed from one level of obedience to another, in Jesus name. Do not let your hearts be distressed. You believe in God; believe also in me. John 14:1 Charis Ville Capsule For us to be saved, we have to believe in the Lord Jesus with our hearts. Romans 10:9, "with the heart man believes and he acknowledges his believe with his mouth and becomes saved". Believing is very crucial to living the Zoe life of God, in this present world. Faith is 'believing in action'. So you cant have faith, if you don't believe. The more of Jesus we have in our hearts through believing, the more faith we have. Jesus is the author and the finisher of our faith, i.e. this faith begins and ends in Jesus. Without Him, there will be no bible faith. So beloved, you should not dwell on increasing your faith, but on knowing more about Jesus and having Him unveiled to you more and more. We also know that faith expels the presence of fear, worries and cares. Let the word of Christ reign and rule over your life. Believe and receive all of God's provision, through His Son Jesus, and see yourself reigning over life and its challenges. Have addictions continually plagued you? It's time to keep on focusing on Jesus, for He is the beginning and the finishing of your belief. The righteousness of God is revealed to us from one level of believing to another. The more you trust and believe in our Lord Jesus Christ, the more difficult situations will turn into bread for you. Prayer: Lord I believe Your word. I believe that I'm the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Do not let your hearts be distressed. You believe in God; believe also in me. John 14:1 Charis Ville Capsule Our Lord Jesus before He was betrayed and arrested, told His disciples not to let their hearts be troubled or distressed. Whenever we go through persecution for righteousness' sake, there might be a tendency for us to become worried. But the more you focus on Jesus and His grace, the less the worries and anxieties. Complete believing is not just belief in God; it is also believing in Jesus Christ. And this is what brings us salvation. Many people would say, I believe in God, so what's the point or need to believe in another? But beloved, Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who came to die for our sins. He who knew no sin i.e. did not commit any sinful act, took upon Himself our past, present and future sins and paid the full penalty. Now for us to walk in newness of life, without fear of judgment or condemnation, we have to believe in Him- Jesus Christ. And continue in this believing because that's our lifestyle. So, when we focus more on Jesus, through believing, our hearts ceases from focusing on the worries and challenges. Prayer: My Lord Jesus, my heart believes in You. All worries, cares and anxieties are gone, through Your grace, in Jesus Name. Email: charisville@gmail.com CVM Blackberry Pin: 26655112 Shalom, Charis Ville Ministries. Please Share. |
Romance / God Fills Your Future With Hope Part 2 by charisville: 8:54am On May 27, 2013 |
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope”. Jeremiah 29:11 Charis Ville Capsule Beloved, your Daddy God fills your future with great hope. This hope is not the natural kind, but the bible hope i.e. a confident expectation of good. Any prophet that tells you that God brings disaster to people especially believers, shouldn't be given any attention. Prophecy is meant to comfort and edify; in the old testament, prophets spoke of woe and doom. But, we are now in the new covenant. Thank God for sending Jesus to die for the sins of the world- He took all our punishment. God bruised Jesus for the sake of the world, judging the sins of the whole world, in the body of Jesus. So, whosoever believes in Christ will not perish, but have everlasting life. So beloved, have it settled in your mind; God is not punishing you ever again. When believers fall into sin, there are consequences for their action. But that doesn't mean that God is punishing that believer. Knowing this will not let us continue in sin, but give us the liberty to live above sin and for our Daddy God. God's goodness leads men to repentance; for even when we were in sin, God sent His son to die for us. Beloved, believe God's love and plans for you: plans of good and not evil, to give you a future filled with confident expectation of good. Prayer: My Daddy God, I believe in Your love and plans for me. I have a great confident expectation of good, in Jesus Name. "For I know the plans I have for you", says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope". Jeremiah 29:11 Charis Ville Capsule This verse was part of the contents of the letter Jeremiah sent to God's people, in exile, in Babylon. They were in distress and had become captives of King Nebuchadnezzar. There was an interesting fact about the kingdom in which they were taken captive- Babylon means confusion. They were in a confused state and didn't have any hope of being saved. In that state, there were prophets and fortune tellers present in Babylon and the Lord warned them about these prophets, who tried to 'trick' them. They might have been told that God didn't have their best interest at heart or that He didn't care about them. But our loving Father had great plans for them, He had planned that Jesus would redeem the world from confusion. Are you confused? Or are you going through some challenges that have weighed you down and you seem not to know what next to do? I have good news for you beloved, our Daddy God is ready and willing to lift you out. Don't believe in those lies; that God holds your sins against you or that He's punishing you because of past wrongdoings. Our Daddy God loves you so much- it caused Him to give up precious Jesus for us. Believe in His love, beloved. *to be continued* Prayer: Lord, I believe in Your love for me. And now I entrust you to God and the message of his grace that is able to build you up and give you an inheritance with all those he has set apart for himself. Acts 20:32 NLT Charis Ville Capsule Beloved, grace and truth came through Jesus. Sometimes people use the phrase, "I want to tell you the truth". And they go ahead, telling you about your present situation and then end by saying, "don't shy away from the truth, don't live in denial". Saints, the truth is that grace is on your side. It doesn't matter what the situation is, with God on your side, all things are possible- all things are working together for your good. The truth is not that you have faults or some sickness. As long as you embrace grace, your reality is not that situation but what grace gives. Lay hold on the benefits that the grace of God has brought to you. Sin cannot stop the flow of grace; grace stops the flow of sin. He alone bore our sins, so that we in Him can become the righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21). Beloved there was an exchange that took place- our Lord Jesus took all that you deserved, so you can have all that He deserves. Next time the devil, the accuser, says that you don't deserve to be blessed; declare to him, "I have grace working on my behalf". This message of grace isn't only on your side, but it's also enabling you live the life of victory which the Lord God has purposed. And now I entrust you to God and the message of his grace that is able to build you up and give you an inheritance with all those he has set apart for himself. Acts 20:32 NLT Charis Ville Capsule In Acts 20, Paul was leaving Ephesus and he wasn't going back there (Acts 20:25). So, he decided to give them some fatherly advice- that was able to keep them through all generations. Saints, this was very crucial, important and last minute exhortation. This advice still applies to us today- Jesus, the same yesterday, today and forever (Heb 13:. Paul said "I commend (entrust) you to God, and to the word (doctrine) of His grace which is able to build you up". He was passing onto them, knowledge that was capable of building them up. They didn't need to trust or depend on any other source except the message of grace. Do you desire to serve God and mature in the kingdom? You need the message of grace i.e. grace and truth that came by Jesus Christ; they cannot be separated. When you find grace, you have the truth. Jesus said; "I am the way, the truth and the life". I present to you today the way of grace. Prayer: Lord I walk in the way of Your grace. I am full of Your life, in Jesus Name. And now I entrust you to God and the message of His grace that is able to build you up and give you an inheritance with all those He has set apart for Himself. Acts 20:32 NLT Charis Ville Capsule Beloved, many believers know that they are saved by grace, but they might not know that they are also discipled and built up by the message of grace. They turn to self, outward performance and legalistic living: trying to "do" and in the process, become tired and worn out from religion and law. They fail to understand that being born again is not about behaviour modification but an inward transformation of the heart, through the message of grace. When Jesus was talking to the woman by the well, He said "the hour cometh , and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him" (John 4:24). We serve our Father with our spirit (Romans 1:9), not by outward performance. It's time for us to take a hold of the message of grace, beloved. As believers, all that is done must be through God's grace and nothing else. Grace should fill our hearts at all times: while worshiping, serving etc. The word of Christ must dwell in us richly in all wisdom- which is also the word of grace (Col 3:16). What do you need, beloved? I recommend the message of grace to you today. *To be continued* Prayer: The message of grace floods my heart in all wisdom. And now I entrust you to God and the message of His grace that is able to build you up and give you an inheritance with all those He has set apart for Himself. Acts 20:32 NLT Charis Ville Capsule Beloved, the message of grace has been overlooked for some time now. Whenever grace is mentioned, the usual response is "don't go too far or to the extreme". This is because, a lot of believers are yet to grasp the meaning of God's grace: His unmerited favour and the power associated with it. In our text, Paul talked about the message of grace being "able" to build us up. The word for "able" in the text is the word "dunamai", from which the word "dunamis" (power of grace) is derived. The message of grace gives an ability and empowerment, by which the believer grows or is being built up. You are exposed to the ability of God- His Power every morning, through these capsules, which are guaranteed to build you up. The grace of God doesn't only build you up spiritually, but also physically, financially, emotionally and otherwise. Paul was so confident and persuaded of the message of grace, that he entrusted the churches well-being to it. He knew there was no other way by which anyone could be saved and discipled, other than the good news of grace. Have you entrusted your life to this message? That's the only way, beloved. *To be continued* Prayer: Lord I entrust my life to Your grace. All that I am and will ever be, is only by your Grace, Lord. Religion / For His Name's Sake Part 2 by charisville: 9:28am On May 21, 2013 |
He leads me in the paths of righteousness, for His name sake... Surely goodness mercy and unfailing love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23:3,6 Charis Ville Capsules Child of God, cheer up! We have a new and better covenant in Christ. Jesus said to his disciples before He died, "henceforth I call you not servants, but I call you friends"(John 15:15). When Jesus rose again from the death, He told Mary "go find my brothers and tell them, I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God". The word for brothers here, denotes community members from the same origin with identical beliefs. So, when Jesus rose from the dead, the Zoe life was activated and his disciples could now have this same life. Beloved, believers today also have this Zoe life and this can only be enjoyed, by resting on Jesus' finished works. Beloved, it was the Lord's will to crush Jesus and cause him to suffer, so you can become His righteousness in Christ Jesus(Isaiah 53:10-12). You have to understand what it cost our daddy God to bring us back to Himself; His love is unfailing. God gives us richly all things to enjoy; we activate these things by believing. Right believing will produce right living, and right living will produce right results-the God-kind of results. Prayer: My Papa God, I thank You for richly giving me, all things to enjoy. These blessings are now manifesting in my life, in Jesus Name. Email: charisville@gmail.com CVM Blackberry Pin: 26655112 Shalom, Charis Ville Ministries. Please Share. |

.....for His name sake.......Surely goodness, mercy and unfailing love will follow me all the days of my life. And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23:3,6 Charis Ville Capsule Beloved, we have a great and loving shepherd who is concerned about us, who is touched by the feelings of what we might be going through. It's so amazing that our daddy God's love and grace doesn't require anything from us in order to bless us. For us to be saved, we didn't have to work for it; it was through His grace that we obtained salvation (Ephesians 2:. Many believers live in fear and torment, because of what they've been told and taught. For example; that he who breaks an hedge, a serpent shall bite him (Ecclesiastices 10:. The case of Job and his sufferings has been used for such an example; that he broke the hedge and the serpent got him. Beloved, Job prayed, wishing for a mediator between him and God (Job 9:33). We have a better covenant established on better promises (Hebrews 8:6). Jesus is the mediator of this better covenant (Hebrews 12:24). God found fault with the first covenant (Hebrews 8:7), because it was a "doing to be right" covenant. But the new covenant is a "believing to be right" covenant (Romans 10:5-6). In other words, in the old covenant you had to "do" to get blessed, but in the new covenant you only need to "believe" to be blessed. Beloved, we are blessed not because of our right deeds, but for His Name's Sake. His goodness, mercy and unfailing love follows us every moment: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, because of His Name's sake. So beloved, whenever you are asked, "why are you so blessed and loved"; you should reply "it's all for His Name's Sake". *To be continued* Prayer: My loving father, I thank You, for You have blessed me, for Your name's sake. Religion / God Cares 2 by charisville: 1:44pm On May 19, 2013 |
Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about you. 1 Peter 5:7 Charis Ville Capsule Beloved, it's not enough to know that God cares, but do you take advantage of that care? Do you also believe that He is willing and able to handle all situations and do the impossible? Then why do you still hold onto those worries, anxiety, and cares? You ought to give them all to God. The bible says "GIVE"; when you give something out, the burden of handling that 'thing' no longer lies on you. Saints, every anxiety, care and worry given to God should be left with Him: He is skilled at handling them. Usually, it's very hard to give up our cares because of pride. But thank God, for He gives grace to those who would trust Him. There is grace available for you brothers and sisters; grace to just rely on God's strength. You need to believe He cares and is able to handle all the situations. With a heart full of grace, sing songs of thanksgiving to Him for changing the story in your business, career, academies, job and ministry. Right now, picture yourself giving all your cares, worries and anxieties to our Father. Say this, "My caring Daddy God, I give all that has been troubling me to You" Prayer: My caring Daddy God, thank You for taking care of all my worries, troubles and cares, in Jesus Name. Amen. Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. 1 peter 5:7 Charis Ville Capsule Beloved, the issue is not that we don't disagree that God can do the impossible. But the issue is, do we believe that He is willing and caring enough to do it for us? We hold onto the worries and anxiety that have held us bound for a long time, and have learnt to live with it, even though it's killing us. You hear testimonies of the workings of God's grace in the lives of people around, but you disqualify yourself from it. It's because we think He(God) does not care. But friends, that's a lie from the devil. The next verse says, "Be at alert for your great enemy, the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour". One of the devices of the enemy, is to play the "CD of the roaring lion" to your hearing, so you'd think that the Lion of the tribe of Judah is against you. Don't believe that lie of the devil; God cares and He'll never punish or afflict you. Don't listen to that lying voice, our Daddy God loves you so much and He isn't willing to allow you go on carrying those worries and anxiety. Saints, we have a caring God. Declare this, "God Almighty, Creator of Heaven and Earth, cares for me" Prayer: Thank You my Daddy God, for caring about me. Religion / Look Away From Yourself Part 5 by charisville: 8:20am On May 17, 2013 |
After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.” Genesis 15:1 Charis Ville Capsules Beloved, let's take a different look at Peter. He sank while he was walking on water, on his way to Jesus. When Jesus said "come", Peter stepped out in faith, believing what the Master had told him. On his way, he looked at the waves; they were boisterous and fear gripped his heart. Fear wasn't the main issue because Jesus asked him "why did you doubt?". He didn't doubt the storm, he doubted the words of Jesus to Him i.e. the word "come"; he stopped believing. He sank because of unbelief. So beloved, our daddy God is saying that He is our shield and exceeding great reward, that His grace is all that is needed for salvation and the enjoyment of its benefits. Do you still believe His word? Do you trust your willpower when faced with challenges e.g. addiction or in His grace that teaches and empowers one to have self-control?(Titus 2:12). Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge His grace to direct your path. Declare: "I look away from myself and I look onto Jesus continually for my victory. God is my shield and my exceeding great reward" Prayer: Thank You Lord, for protecting me and also providing for me exceedingly, in Jesus Name. After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.” Genesis 15:1 Charis Ville Capsule Beloved, in this kingdom our "looking" determines our "doing", which in turn affects our "living". We are in a race and need to put off things that could slow one down; like unbelief, doubt, addictions etc. The only way to deal with these issues is by looking up to Jesus, the source of our believing. Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection] (Hebrews 12:2). Beloved, look away from the issue; look away from yourself and focus on Jesus. He is the initiator and therefore the perfecter of your believing. Beloved, when your believing becomes faulty, Jesus is the only one who can fix it. Peter began to doubt the words of Jesus- the words that beckoned on him to come. He doubted because he took his focus from Jesus, focusing instead on his limitations as a man and the challenges around. But when he began to sink and couldn't help himself, he cried out to Grace. Saints, Grace is always around to save from all challenges. Brothers and sisters, keep looking and keep living; look to Jesus and live. Prayer: Lord Jesus, my gaze is fixed on You from now on. I look away from all issues and challenges. Thank You Lord for helping me live a victorious life. Email: charisville@gmail.com CVM Blackberry Pin: 26655112 Shalom, Charis Ville Ministries. After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.” Genesis 15:1 Charis Ville Capsule Beloved, the salvation given to us by the Lord, is something worth more than gold. It's amazing that our daddy God saved us by His grace. And to enjoy the benefits of salvation, grace (unmerited, unearned favour) is still needful. Many people struggle to live a godly life, but we know that His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). His grace is the divine influence on the heart of a believer. Beloved, the kingdom we belong to is different from the world system: we live by faith (believing), not by sight. In our kingdom, what we focus on is important. If attention is paid to the wrong things, the full benefits of the kingdom won't be enjoyed. The more we look at ourselves, the more we see what can or can't be done. Then anxiety, discouragement and doubt sets in. When we look away from our "self" and up to the one who is Almighty and All knowing; we'll begin to live the life that is obtainable in our kingdom. Whatever the situation is, always put your focus on Jesus. He loves and cares for you. Remember, right believing (believing in Jesus) will always produce right living. * To be continued* Prayer: Lord, I look away from all my situation, problems and challenges. I look to You, my exceeding great reward. Email: charisville@gmail.com CVM Blackberry Pin: 26655112 Shalom, Charis Ville Ministries. Please Share. |

After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.” Genesis 15:1 Charis Ville Capsule Beloved, the Hebrew word for “exceeding” is the word “mehod” meaning “speedy, fast, or quick”. The word “great” is “rabah” meaning “increasing” and the word “reward” is “sakar” meaning “salary or wages". Putting all these together, God is saying "I am your speedy, quick and ever increasing salary or benefit". Just imagine: our daddy God worked and He gave the wages to you, congratulating you on something you didn't do. That's pure Grace- unmerited favour. Beloved, you have to understand the extent of our Father's love. He who didn't hold back His beloved Son but gave Him up for us; why won't He freely give us all things to enjoy? (Romans 8:32 paraphrase). God has done all these and much more for us, but why is it difficult to receive the goodness of God? Why do you still look to yourself, when God has given you His reward? We try to please God in a bid to earn what is already available. We are not accessing His benefits because of unbelief. Beloved, would you dare believe God today? Right believing will always produce right living. *To be continued* Prayer: My Abba Father, thank You for not withholding any good thing from me. After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward”. Genesis 15:1 Charis Ville Capsule Beloved, our daddy God is a good God. We can't fully wrap our minds around the goodness and graciousness of our Abba Father. God told Abram; "I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward". It wasn't a promise but a statement of fact. He said "I am that I am" not "I will be". At certain instances in our lives, when things go wrong, it's not that the mind of our Daddy has changed towards us. It's just that our mind and focus have shifted from Him and what He told us. When we begin to sink in life's storm, it's a clear indication that our eyes and focus have shifted from our source. Many times, it's not that our eyes shifted to our problems or the storm; our eyes usually shift to ourselves. After God assured Abram that He was not only his shield but his great reward, Abram still asked God in the next verse, in Gen 15:2; "Lord what will you give me?" God was trying to point Abram to Himself (our daddy God) but Abram was too engrossed in himself. Saints, God has given you His gift of abundant grace and righteousness to reign in life (Romans 5:17). But you still look at yourself and your self righteousness. The Lord is calling to you today; that you partake in all His benefits i.e. His reward. Brothers and sisters, let's look away from ourselves, our self effort and flesh. Let's look up to Him alone who is our great reward. *To be continued* Prayer: My daddy God, You are my shield, my exceeding great reward. I look away from myself, in Jesus Name. Religion / Controlled By Christ's Love Part 4 by charisville: 9:28pm On May 12, 2013 |
For the love of Christ controls us, since we have concluded this, that Christ died for all; therefore all have died.2 Corinthians 5:14 Charis Ville Capsule When you are born again, the Holy Spirit sheds abroad in your heart, the love of Christ. This love doesn't cut short your expectations and hope; the bible states that this hope will not be disappointed. The Samaritan woman at the well, experienced the love of Christ. Instead of condemning her for all she has done, He offered her the water of life. Revelation 2. 4-5; "return to your first love" (paraphrased) is usually construed to mean that, you need to re-ignite the love that you had for God first. But the first love refers to the Love that Christ has always had for you. His arms are always open wide to receive you, just like the father of the prodigal son. He thought he had gone too far, that his father wouldn't want to have anything to do with him again. He practised what he would say to his father; "please make me one of your hired servants". But he wasn't allowed to complete his speech before he was showered with love and provision. The father didn't say, "okay, I won't give my son these expensive gifts because he has not been prudent with finances". Beloved, this is love, not that we first loved Him, but that He first loved us. Accept God's love for you; bask in it. For He has proposed in His heart to do you good always and guide you through all of life's journey. Put His love in the first place. Prayer: I bask in the love You have for me. BB Pin: 26655112 Shalom, Charis Ville Ministries. Please Share. 1 Like |

For the love of Christ controls us, since we have concluded this, that Christ died for all; therefore all have died. 2 Corinthians 5:14 Charis Ville Capsule When we believe and receive the love Christ has for us, we are controlled by this love. The sky-diver allows the rhythm of the wind carry him as he jumps out of the plane; in the same manner, we as believers should let the love of Christ shed in our hearts by the Holy Ghost, lead and direct our affairs. Have you gotten to a crossroads and don't seem not to know what to do or where to go? When you receive and believe in His love for you, how he has promised never to leave you nor forsake you, no matter what you've been through; this right believing produces in you, the right living. If you've not received the Lord Jesus into your life, there is no way you can experience this love. If you are not born again, this is a good time to become one of God's beloved; say this prayer, with belief in your heart. Prayer: Lord Jesus, I know You came to die for my sins, and to give me life. I receive and believe the love, that You have for me and I enthrone You as Lord and Saviour over my life. Come and take Your rightful place in me, in Jesus Name. For the love of Christ controls us, since we have concluded this, that Christ died for all; therefore all have died. 2 Corinthians 5:14 Charis Ville Capsule Allowing the love of Christ fill our hearts is the key to having a glorious life. Romans 5:5 states, "For hope that we have cannot disappoint, because the love of God is shared abroad in our heart". The "bible hope" does not dilly-dally. Hope, for the new covenant believer, is the confident expectation of good, with no "maybes" attached to it. And this hope is assured, because of the love of God that is shed abroad in our hearts, by the Holy Spirit. Christ's love in your heart gives the full assurance of your expectation. What have you been hoping for beloved? The sure way to having that which you've been hoping for, is to allow Christ's love fill your heart. He is able to do exceeding, abundantly, above all you might ask, think or imagine. And when would He be able to do exceeding, abundantly above all that is imagined? This is answered in the preceding verse Ephesians 3:19; "and thus to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge..." So beloved, when you know the love that Christ has for you and allow it fill your heart, then He will do more than you could have ever imagined. He would exceed your expectations. Know that Christ loves you and receive His love, by believing in it. *To be continued* Prayer: I have the assurance of good expectations today. I let the love that Christ has for me fill my heart. I receive Your love, daddy God. BB Pin: 26655112 Shalom, Charis Ville Ministries. Please Share. |
