Computers / Re: Please I Need Urgent Help On My Hp Laptop? by chegson: 2:02am On Aug 11, 2012
I have given you my own best advice just as a way of helping a fellow Nairalander. If you stay at Ikorodu(as per your statement)
and you are still finding it difficult to get to Computer Village in Ikeja, what will then happen if you would need to go outside Lagos
for solution to your problem?.We really need to do away with some of our lazy attitudes for us to move forward in life.

I am presently based in New York,USA.When i arrived newly,i took it as a challenge to have broad knowledge of the State of New York to enable me
move arround with little or no problems. With a copy of New york City Subway MAP in my hand,i would purchase MTA Metrocard and start moving
from place to place through Trains and Buses. It does not take me two months to know nearly all the nooks and corners of the five Borroughs..
Namely, The Bronx, Queens, Manhattan, Staten Island, and Broklyn. Each Borrough(local Govt Area) is bigger than Lagos State as a whole.

Anyway, from Lagos Garrage,Ikorodu, take a bus going to Yaba or Oyingbo, drop at Ketu bus stop.Immediately after the Pedestrian bridge, just beside
Ketu Police Station, is a garrage from where you can join a bus to Ikeja.Drop at the last bus stop b4 the bridge and ask anybody for direction.
You do not need to know anybody or have a God-Father to have your problems solved.

Best of luck.
Computers / Re: Please I Need Urgent Help On My Hp Laptop? by chegson: 11:44pm On Aug 09, 2012
There are Computer Technicians everywhere but, i will advice you to look for a very competent one that will not
add more to your problems. I gave my faulty Laptop to one so-called Computer Engineer in my area for repairs sometime last year.
The Engineer collected money for mother Board replacement and absconded with both my Laptop and money.

My advice for you is to take the faulty computer to Computer Village, Look for a good Technician there, let him examine
the computer in your presence, pay the cost of repairs and if possible, stay there until the repair is done and take your computer
back home with you.

@ poser Most girls in that age bracket are yet to develop matured mind. Some might demand so much from you without giving you any respect.
But i belief, with perfect understanding, genuine love and affections for each other, good relationship can be built up.
Romance / Re: My Aunty's Husband Wants To Marry Me. He Says He's In Love by chegson: 1:18pm On Jul 27, 2012
If you truely love your Aunt, you ought to have called her and ask her the state of her marrital affairs as at now.
If she comfirms that the man was actually planning to send her out of her matrimonal home and bring the relationship
to an end, then you need to let her know everything that has been going on between yourself and her husband.
You will also need to bring the whole matter before members of the family. I do not belief the idea of collecting Dollar
from the man secretly will be in your own best interest.

Business / No Ban On Okada: Fg. by chegson: 12:11pm On Dec 05, 2011
The Federal Government has dispelled the rumours going about for some time now, that it intends banning Okada usage throughout the Country come 31st December, 2011.

The Hon. Minister of Environment,Hadjia Hadiza Mailafia, told the State House Correspondents on Saturday, 3rd Dec. 2011, in Abuja, that the Fed. Govt. has never taken such decision. She even wondered about how the rumours got into circulation.

She had assured all Okada Riders that the Fed Govt. had no intention of stopping them from earning their living.

So, to our Okada Riders, ARIYAaaaa, REPETEEEEEEEE
Family / Re: Who Should Take The Greater Share Of A Wedding Budget? by chegson: 1:03pm On Dec 03, 2011
There shouldn’t be any conflict as regards whose duty it is to finance a wedding because there are no hard and fast rules in respect of the issue. The two families should not go beyond their limits, but base their budgets on whatever they have saved already for the marriage.

The important thing for both families to know is that wedding day marks the beginning of a journey of two people that have agreed to live together, and do things together, for the rest of their lives.
Both families should handle the issue in a way that it would not lead to conflicts or misunderstanding because, this might tell on the happy relationship needed for the building of the foundation of the new home of the intending couple.

Although, in my own part of the country, it is the duty of the Bride’s parents to provide for the reception, but entertainment budget are shared among the two families in relation to the number of invited guests.
The side with larger guests is expected to contribute more.

Both families should put into consideration that it is not good to impress their guests on the wedding day, only to start dogging, or running away from creditors after the event. It is therefore advisable for both sides to cut their coats according to size so that the couple can have a joyous married live.

Business / Re: Paying Online With GTBank Naira Mastercard by chegson: 7:36pm On Sep 06, 2011
Velo, to enjoy a secured online payment transaction, you have to apply for a GTBank "CARD SECURE" an additional security, for your Naira Master Card.

This can be done by obtaining and completion of "INTERNET BANKING FORM" and cough out an additional sum of # 3000.00 {three thousand Naira only) to enable the Bank issue you an Internet Banking Hardware Token.
This will allow you create for yourself, a unique code ( known only to you ). The code gives you an additional security while making any online payment transaction.

For any payment to be authorised on any website, the unique code you created has to be provided and verified, otherwise, the transaction will not scale through.

With this arrangement, your Naira Master Card is protected from any unauthorised online usage

Business / Re: Home-based Business by chegson: 2:41pm On Sep 02, 2011
One of the easiest ways to generate income stream as a Home-Based Business is through INFORMATION MARKETING. It is very easy to do and offers great and very rewarding profit potentials. The process is so simple.

You can create Information product from the skill you have, what you love doing, your passion, etc.and sell for money.

You can look for the problems or difficulties people want urgent solutions to, and at the same time are willing to pay for. For example, some people are looking for how to loose weight, How to play Guitar, How to repair GSM Phones, How to get cheap land, etc. The list are endless. You can create information product on any of these , package it well, convert it to pdf format, and sell to people who need them and make money for yourself.
