Hello NLs...I so much need your help. my application was rejected last month based on financial reasons. I presented my step dad's SOA of 8.3m fixed deposit acct but he has been disengaged from service due to privatisation of PHCN. Now,i want to re-apply by adding my mum's SOA of 5million who is still in service. And I'm looking at paying my tuition for first semester. What do u think? Pls,if there any other thing I need to do,pls tell me.

My first application that got denied was via paper route n thru an agent...I want to re-apply myself now ONLINE,pls how much will dat cost me? or is it d same amt as d paper route? Pls help me ans dis question...

There are so many questions running thru my mind now.
I submitted my application on 9th july,I really feel I submitted with the wrong email address but correct phone nos. I tracked the application yesterday with the tracking no an it reads my app has been dispatched from Accra to Vac in Lagos.
I went to vac today n dey askd me to come back in a week time...well now,i want to ask;
Could dey hv sent me emails?
Could dey hv called me when my phone was switched off?
And when dey couldn't get thru to me,they had to reject the application? And dat will be all?

Got this msg that my processed passport has been dispatched today to vac from Accra...dat I know denotes rejection cos no med call or prior notice...but my question is just dat,sch resumes 2nd sept,should I re-apply or what do u advice I do now? Thou I do not know what their reason is

Jijola: @Dchris,send it to accra.immigration@international.gc.ca. I would've recommended the case-specific link, but it's currently under maintenance.Include your details in the mail, such as date of birth and numbers that identify your application. They will get it but they won't reply, just an auto response.

Hi, I guess the embassy assumes u've submitted the best documents that u possibly can when they receive your application and calling to add mor cld raise sm questions. Moreover, what u think u shld include MIGHT not be very necessary all you need is God's ascention to your request. You never know maybe your call for meds is jst on the way.. Cheers.

I think the study permit questionaire should be able to explain one's purpose of visit...did u fill it? cos I did not write the sop letter

I havent been keeping up with this tread for some months now but its because my application has taken longer than normal. For those who are passing through the same please dont give up hope.

I applied to and got admitted into SAIT in Sept '13 and applied for my TRV on the 21 oct 13. i had the mistake of applying via paper base and my application wasnt
processed till 31 jan 14 when my classes started 6 jan 14. SAIT refused to defer my admission so i had to reapply and because i did so late i was placed on their "Qualifed Waitlist". Thus my wait began!

The Deputy High Commission of
Canada in Lagos called me 4 times in bi-monthly interval for a new admission letter. I almost gave up until JUly 14 when a new admission letter came just 1 week after the The Deputy High Commission of Canada in Lagos had called me and said they wont hold my application any longer and i had to plead
for more time.

I picked up my TRV on the 23rd of July 14 and will be jetting out soon. i dont know if the guys who were here when i first started commenting are still here but i want to thank you all and to those applying keep believing.

Congrats! I do not understand what u mean by "paper base" u mean,u should hv applied online?
