Romance / Re: The Worst Action Your Partner Took After A Breakup? by Deschil: 3:31pm On Dec 29, 2013
I disagree with this my guy; the people who hurt the most are those who have invested the most...it won't hurt you if you didn't invest your emotions, time, money etc in the relationship. Unexpected/undeserved break up is unbearable.
acidtalk: I won't be surprised one bit if a report comes out from psychiatric homes and its stated that more than 1/4 of the patients in there is as a result from breakups.

People dey craze finish if you plate the issue of a breakup to them. And most times I wonder why they are upset when they didn't put in their best in most cases to see that the relationship is fruitful.

Dino Melaye, go and settle the issues with your non-feminist wife before insulting Princess. Your wife is not the feminist type yet you put her through hell. Shame on YOU! People dey criticize, Dino sef dey put mouth. Mtcheeewww.
dinachi: Feminism, the greatest cause of modern day divorces. Princess may be jovial but she is not humble! What kind of irreconcilable differences will make a woman to start disagreeing with her husband two weeks after wedding? I keep saying it . Men beware of Nigerian feminists. Woman who will mouth equality only when it suits their purpose. They don't have any humility. They want to take all the decisions and you must concur to prove that you love and value them. When it comes to finances they will never take equal responsibility. FAKE FEMINISTS!

It is a very big pity and I saw the signs after her saga with the pastor of the church where she was not allowed to sit at the front of the church with her short irresponsible gown she was wearing. Instead of being ashamed, she rather went to twitter to rant about the matter. She will only be successful in marriage with a man she can convert to a foot mat. And what an ugly creature! Men Beware of Women Like Princess. Please take charge of your relationships from the beginning and if the lady is a feminist leave her alone. Generally feminists end up as Lesbians or Never married women.

Mintayo: Loool,i completely support tpia on this.
@Op,open ur eyes, put behind what u have against her, and read her posts again, she actually said it all.
Following the Words of Jesus,we are not suppose to judge any man,pls note any Man,neither shld we condemn!
The Bible says" we should all workout our own salvation with trembling and fear..."
God's will is for us to come to Him with boldness through Christ Jesus who is our high priest BUT unfortunately today we have gullible n lazy christains who CANNOT sit down with Bible and the Holy Spirit for a personal study hence there been tossed ard by ur so called "men of God".
Pls the energy we use in judging or condemning the men of God shld be channelled to the great commission, which is preaching Jesus n God's kingdom and i bet you d result will be awesome cus when ppl start studing and reading via d help of the Holy Spirit, there will b no more sheeps to be fed upon by 'your' so called 'men of God'.

Acidosis, tpia@ and Mintayo have so much in common; they are either the same person's moniker or they are all just coincidentally identical in their sad thinking. If tpia@ spews her evil, she dissapears and then this two come on-often quoting/supporting one another. Visit tpia@'s page and you would notice the sick game.

Your thread is nothing more than the usual satanic attacks on christians and christianity, like I said, if you are not happy with your pastor or his wife, find somewhere else t go or sit your cranky behind at home, na by force? Just thank seun for giving you a mouth.

Tpia@ has several monikers, this is one of them! ACIDOSIS
Acidosis: Op and all those attacking tpia should please stop smoking whatever it is they're smoking. Smokers are liable to die young.

Now to you @Op..
Of course, you and I know you aren't posting the whole truth here.. I'm quiet sure you acted rudely at some point.

There is something attached to that word - Daddy. It is no pride at all..

A Pastor is supposed to be a spiritual father, right? Then calling your Pastor Daddy only signifies a cordial relationship between a father and his son/daughter..

Personally, considering my long term relationship with my Pastor, I can't imagine myself calling him by his name - Pastor abcd. Biko, don't mind me, that was how I was brought up. I recognise my elders @home and in church. I call ALL elderly men & women in Church DADDY/MUMMY
Its not about Pastors, but elders.

So dear OP, bridle your tongue! Meanwhile, I don't patronise Kingdom antagonists. Come back and post the full story or forever keep quiet...

LOL! You're even boiling, just cos your 'mother in the Lord' talked to you. na wa o

Religion / Re: Is It Right To Judge Men Of God? by Deschil: 6:38pm On Dec 22, 2013
Deep, insightful answer.
birdman: It is possible to judge a "man of God" (MOG) and not sin. When you choose to affiliate with one ministry over another, you have already judged that ministry and the man behind it. There is nothing wrong with that. Its called discernment.

To paraphrase Paul, even if the motives are not pure, they preach Christ. If the fruit of the tree is good, leave the personal issues the MOG may have to God. And if the fruit is bad, ask for wisdom on how to raise the alarm instead of attacking the MOG personally. When you attack without love, you may unwittingly be working against God's plan - God's plan can involve even a disobedient MOG.

There are many questionable MOGs I can name, but you cant deny some people have been blessed by those ministries. I'm not going to support or give blindly into those ministries, but I'm not going to scuttle the good work God may be doing there either.

tpia@:

case by case basis only.

it is wrong to generalize and attack all pastors just because you have issues with some of them.

when you do that, the only thing left for you to wait for is God's judgement.

there is no need to get panicky or start throwing insults, i assume you are ready to stand by what you type or else you should have kept your fingers in safer threads besides ones where you undermine God's work.

Religion / Re: Is It Right To Judge Men Of God? by Deschil: 1:33pm On Dec 22, 2013
"Judgement" isn't always in a negative light. Biblical judging is about EXAMINING the actions of a man of God. A Pastor will impregnate a young girl and people will say "judge not". A Pastor is caught robbing, people say "judge not". A Pastor was even caught burying a child by 2am or so, people said "judge not". What was Jesus doing when he called the Pharisees "white washed sepulchers, full of dead men's bones"? Matt 23:27. He EXAMINED their actions and named it for what it is...aren't we supposed to be like Jesus?

I am not surprised to find you on here, again. Doing what you do best. My quote is from the Bible, where is yours from? How can a truly spiritual Christian's judgement "undermine" another true believer? "Deep calls to deep", "the spirit beareth witness"... Don't come on here tpia to stir your characteristic trouble-please.
tpia@:
this is wrong and demonic:

when your judging is undermining people who are serving God in spirit and in truth, that judgement will fall on you.

Religion / Is It Right To Judge Men Of God? by Deschil: 1:20pm On Dec 22, 2013
I am tired of hearing people say "thou shall not judge." When they have nothing to use to defend a man of God or out of fear. Fact is, according to the Bible; 1st Corinthians 2:15 "He that is spiritual. He who lives the spiritual life. Judgeth all things". "Examineth", in the margin of the Revised Version. 1 John 4:1 too says "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world."
The spiritual man, helped by the indwelling Spirit, is prepared to study the deeper truths of the Spirit. Yet he himself is judged of no man. None who are not spiritual are able to sit in judgment upon his higher life. He is on a higher level, and the carnal* man, from his lower level, cannot well estimate him.
http://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/1-Corinthians-2-15/
So only unspiritual people should refrain from judging. Do not give people who abuse the grace of God room by saying "thou shall not judge."

This Pastor has really offended the Catholics & they won't stop this RIDICULOUS stories till their motive becomes too glaring. Reminds me of Yorubas and Stella Oduah and the Jonathan supporters and Obasanjo. Even if this spurious story was true, how is that your business? Earlier it was "armed" men in his Church! DonColz1: The Pastor of the Household of God Church International, Chris Okotie, recently bought a Rolls Royce Coupe, the 2014 Bespoke Edition, to mark his 30 years as born-again Christian and 27 years as a pastor,SUNDAY PUNCHlearnt on Saturday.
According Okotie’s close aide, the pastor spent N120m on the luxury car and had earlier spent N33m on a Range Rover Autobiography to mark a milestone of his church.
The source, in a text message, said, “Pastor Okotie just bought a Rolls Royce Coupe, 2014 Bespoke Edition at N120m to mark his 30 years as a born-again Christian and 27 years as a pastor. He had earlier bought a Range Rover (Autobiography) 2014 Model for N33m, reputed to be the costliest SUV in the world to mark this ministry’s milestone.”
Checks on the Internet showed that the cheapest price of same Rolls Royce model is about N65m, but it could be more expensive if armoured.
Fifty-five-year-old Okotie was in the news recently for the controversial comments he made during a church service in which he claimed that “all Catholics will go to hell,” and referred to Pope Francis as anti-Christ.
