From my experience, I received a notification when I was documentarily qualified (DQ). Once I became current, I started getting the 60-day notifications. I mention this because I’ve received several of these 60-day notifications after becoming current.

Education / Re: Am Having Issues With Wes by dmitroika(m): 4:27pm On Oct 22, 2022
Hello Everyone,

I am trying to evaluate my Covenant Uni Bsc with WES. The thing is that I entered the bachelor's program though Direct Entry with a diploma from LASU. I also have a notification of result from LASU. Once Covenant uni sends my transcript to WES, can I upload the notification of result from LASU to WES myself or do I also have to request LASU to send the diploma result to WES ? If yes, does anyone have a contact from someone in LASU exams and records? I tried to pay online but I haven't heard anything from them. Thanks.

I have also taking several antibiotics nothing worked my oral swab showed no growth of any microrobes in my mouth

Please what could it be and what solution can help out

wow i can't believe how less people know about simple stuff. OP what you have is a symptom/ warning of a tooth infection. Are you having tooth aches? fever? do you feel pain when you swallow stuff? See a dentist bro. I am saying this because it happens to me whenever i have a tooth infection. Upon visiting the dentist and having the infected nerves removed and cavity filled up, the pain and white stuff in the throat goes away within a few days. No matter what medication you use, the pain wouldn't go away. Consult a dentist ASAP!

U cannot cause such harm on your body o...the body isn't wired to do so even when sleeping.
Like it or not the spiritual exists.

Last time I saw such marks on my body was in secondary school. Sometime in 1996. Then last it appeared suddenly but never did again was when I invited a calabar girl to pH in 2013. I blew my top and she apologized. Yes she was some queen of whatever in her occult and I didnt give a damn.

I also remember a girl who beat two jss2 girls to stupor in d hostel.

The girls dealt with the senior at night. She woke up with those exact scratches all over her body.
They needed to teach her a lesson. It was all over her body. Face inclusive. The girls admitted to doing it to her spiritually. They didnt lay a finger physically.

Travel / Re: Nigerian Man Brutally Pulled Out Of A Train By Inspectors In Germany. Photos by dmitroika(m): 5:41pm On Jun 29, 2017
Hi, since I live in Germany I think I can make some unbiased contributions here. First, the report is not accurate. What the guy did is a criminal offense actually. You must not board a train without a ticket. It is even clearly written in every train, tram and bus coaches and the penalty is clearly written also. I've seen them give Germans ticket fines even.

Now, let's agree that he was poor and could not afford a ticket, but he got caught. Why then was he refusing to exit the train and even struggling with the authorities. Those guys have the right to forcefully remove him from the train. The law is the law. We africans like to tag every treatment as racism, even when we are on the wrong side of it. The thing is that those ticket controllers are very polite people, they talk to you with respect and say thank you when you produce your ticket.

Another inaccurate report is that he had 9 euros and paid them that out of the 60 euros fine. Sorry but that is a big lie. When you are being controlled without a ticket, you will be asked for your passport or ID card to verify your identity, they will then give you a ticket with your name, address, etc. You are not even required to pay immediately but within 14 days. However if you cannot afford pay within 14 days, you can arrange for a monthly installments payment option for as low as 5 euros monthly till you complete the payment.

This is really disgraceful, after destroying our country with corruption and lack of discipline we are now taking it out there to ruin theirs? Their system functions because the people do what they have to do as citizens!

P.S: I know he is "poor", but there are other avenues to go about it than deliberately breaking the law.

citizenisb:
A lot of times we try to project the image of the benign, peace loving drunk from Otueke to cover up the complete rot his administration represented. It is just a repeat of history as most of us know that Shagari is a good man but his administration was very corrupt.

I stay in Abuja and I know that the corruption under the GEJ administration was monumental and the enormous revenue accrued to the government was wasted even much more than Abacha, Babangida and Obasanjo combined. Why are we so wicked to keep on defending his administration.

Buhari has a lot of personal flaws but if we can remember this election was a referendum on GEJ not necessarily about Buhari in the swing states of the South West and North Central.

Whether he appoints Ministers this night or next year it is a huge relief from the madness we just went through for six years.

It will take a lot for us to recover with the depleted external reserves, crash of crude prices, a possible Greek default, reduction in summer travel and GDP/ Oil use due to terrorism fears, a huge slowdown in China, 30 million barrels of stored Iranian crude about to hit the market with the removal of sanctions and two possible interest rate hikes by the US Federal Reserve.

We are in interesting times no matter who is at the helm and the earlier we all hunker down and pray to weather the storm without terrible social unrest that will come with job losses, subsidy removal, Naira devaluation and corresponding hyperinflation adding to the Boko Haram insurgency decimating the North East and the bankruptcy of the states.

Let me give you a brief example; Buhari told the governors to negotiate longer loan tenors with the banks up to 20 years to reduce the strain and inability to pay salaries, do you know how that will affect bank profits and systemic liquidity. What will happen to their Oil and Gas loans if oil prices dip further.

May God help this country but please it is sheer wickedness to bring up the previous administrations records. In other climes they would have been shot by now.

I don't know who you are, but I will find you, and I will shake you!
Thumbs up.

The other guy (golddust6000) gave €45 figure. Let me repeat again...studying in Germany is not free, for you to get a visa you need that €8000 in blocked account, €80 monthly insurance is about 204K a year. That is a lot of money.

Some other stuff you mentioned regarding job are exaggerated

Ok so you believe i'm exaggerating right? fine. So let's put things into statistical perspective here, how many UK Master's grad are roaming the streets of Lagos without a job? and how many Graduates of German University do you see roaming around naija without jobs? I have many friends and cousins that studied in the Uk and are back home with no job, dem just dey for house.

Now i'm not trying to degrade the UK academic system, it's one of the best in the world, but the visa schemes they have for international students ain't encouraging. The German economy is MASSIVE, hence the need for skilled people, by not asking for tuition from foreign students they automatically attract the best students form every country! If you can scale through the admission process to get in you must be good: Thousands of people apply to study in Germany and they pick the best applicants. I wouldn't say the same for Uk, i know a friend from Lautech that finished with a third class and went straight to do a Masters in Uk, she grad with 2.1 there. That is never possible in Germany, you will read like if you wanna die!

About the health insurance stuff, the guy that said that above 29 years of age you pay 45 euros is very correct. Here is how it works, if you are less than 30 years of age you must use the state health insurance, it is called AOK, that one you pay 80 euros, but if you are 30 and above you are free to use private insurances, some are even as low as 25 euros. this is because they are private and the make their prices as competitive as possible. please dont argue about this one o, because you are obviously not in Germany, and I wouldn't argue about the Uk health system since i'm not there and knows nothing about it.

That is not true, not all, just some.

Yes free tuition fee but you still need to have 8000 euro in blocked account and pay monthly insurance.

Yeah but the 8000€ you put in a blocked account is yours to spend when you get to germany, and uf you get a job here you wont need to even touch it, about the health insurance we pay 80€ monthly, if you think that's not fair then tell that to my indian class mate that fell sick and needed a surgery that will normally cost him above 75,000€, health insurance paid for it and even call to check if he's feeling better. Germany have a reputation for best medical services, na air ambulance dem use pick this guy for his apartment when his friends called for ambulance.
Plus, after studies you are given a 18 months visa to get a job, if you do you will be given permernent residence. If you really came to study and passed then getting a job is never a problem. People get offers here before finishing their final thesis. What more can a foreign student ask for?

Education / Re: 15 Good Universities In Nigeria You Can Study Geology/geophysic Without Regret. by dmitroika(m): 12:32am On Jun 10, 2015
I don't understand what OP means by saying geology is very lucrative in Nigeria.. Spare the bullsh*t please. Different geology graduates came here to express how disappointed they were after graduating, and yet you guys think they are unlucky. Ok, make i share my own experience. Both naija and international.
I graduated with a good result in geology in the year 2010, did NYSC, 2 years later i'm still searching.. Ok.. Brain don dey hybernate.. Before e shut down finish make i use am again, next thing i'm in Germany for my Masters. Now here's the thing, when i got here i saw how nigerian masters graduates are being recruited from europe to work in nigeria. Yes! You think you guys are really studying geology in Nigeria? With those 17th century books and curriculum? Maybe we know the theory, practical? Nah.
But the sad thing is geology is not as lucrative as people think it is. How many geologys does the oil industry need? Compared to engineers. Sectors where they can work are very limited. You have to look for a country with oil, good immigration possibilities, and you must have an excellent masters level result! First class i mean. Now, out of 100 geology graduates, maybe 5 can find their way into the oil industry, which is the most lucrative sector for geologists, based on that statistics, i wont consider it a very good option. 5% of 100 is fail. Even 10 is fail. 30% is still a fail. Here in Germany, with an engineering, medical, business or economics degree etc, you are certain to get a job even before graduation sef. Geology nko? Well, you're not exactly needed that much. This is just my opinion though, not necessarily meant to be accepted.

alienYOUTH: I've noticed that when pple talk about Aliens, they always look at it from a human perspective and assume that these creatures will be Humanoid (have similar characteristics to humans), when even here on earth we have characteristics of living things that are already alien to our own ways. Fishes live & breathe underwater, still yet other sea creatures survive at ocean depths where d pressures & heat can kill a man. Most animals make and hear sounds that are below or beyond our hearing capabilities (ultra and infra-sound), other animals see beyond our color spectrum.

The fact is if these beings exist, they might as well be breathing Liquid Nitrogen, have no human-like appearance, & allergic to sunlight; so we necessarily do not have to go as far as looking for planets that have earth-like characteristics. Still yet, these beings may even co-exist with us here on earth, but in a different dimension that transcends our physical capabilities such that both (or more) worlds do not even interact.

It is easy to assume that Aliens will look like us because we will always try to analyze them with our 5 senses, whereas this might not necessarily be so. undecided
