http://www.cnbc.com/2016/04/25/saudi-arabias-government-officially-unveils-long-term-economic-plan.html?__source=newsletter|breakingnews

Saudi Arabia's government unveiled a long-term economic blueprint on Monday for life in a low-oil price world.
Titled "Saudi Vision 2030," the plan includes regulatory, budget and policy changes that will be implemented over the next 15 years in the hope of making the kingdom less reliant on crude. It aims to build a "prosperous and sustainable economic future" for the kingdom, according to the press release.

The plan said the country will raise its share of non-oil exports in non-oil GDP from 16 percent to 50 percent.
The planned economic diversification involved localizing renewable energy and industrial equipment sectors and creating high-quality tourism attractions. It also plans to make it easier to apply for visas and hoped to create 90,000 job opportunities in its mining sector.

Most oil producing nations has moved on While some are still praying for oil to rise. What an irony.

Nigeria is actually planning to move on too. We can only pray that our plans work.

If sex is just physical, then why does it affect someone spiritually even when they are two good people having it (so far they are not married couples).?
Ok.. Don't tell me that it is just because of the consequences that follow it; because if you say such, then it means that if these consequences are put under control in the first place, then sex would be just fun and nothing else (so far it is not with a prostitute)..
But No.. Sex is affects a person spiritually (once they are not married couples, with or without contraceptives). We humans might not know exactly how it happens. But it really does.

Why do u feel sex affects spiritually without knowing how or why?

Does your culture say so? Does the bible say so? I just need to know what informed your feeling that you are affected spiritually specially by sex. Sin generally affects ur conscience which invariably cud affect ur expressions towards God. Sex is bodily sin and affects the body. Don't allow tradition or culture confuse you.

Your decision to stay away from fornication and other sins should be based on doing God's Word. When people who had sex outside marriage supposedly suffer, they are not suffering because they had sex. If you must attribute it to something, they are suffering because they did not do God's Word which is wisdom.

It is categorically written in the holy book that " He that joins himself with another is one in the flesh". Emphasis here is FLESH.

Tell me the basis of ur belief system!
Romance / Re: Does Sex Connect Someone To Higher Realms.?? by donmarshia(m): 2:15pm On Apr 16, 2016
God's Word provides answers:
Or perhaps you don't know that the man who joins his body to a prostitute becomes physically one with her? The scripture says quite plainly, “The two will become one body.” But he who joins himself to the Lord becomes spiritually one with him. Avoid immorality. Any other sin a man commits does not affect his body; but the man who is guilty of sexual immorality sins against his own body.
1 Corinthians 6:16-18 GNT
http://bible.com/68/1co.6.16-18.GNT

The idea above is that sex involves joining of bodies, and is not spiritual. "" The two will become One body".
Consequence of sex affects ur physical body. E.g Pregnancy, Disease, etc

When u join urself to God u become one spiritually because God is a Spirit.

The only way to attain a spiritual connection is by fellowshipping with God in Spirit and in truth after receiving Christ into ur life.

Sex doesn't take u anywhere. Whether u keep ur eyes open or closed during orgasm doesn't change a damn thing.

"NOTIFICATION ON THE RELEASE OF OANDO PLC’s 2015 AUDITED FINANCIAL
STATEMENTS
The Management of Oando PLC would like to advise our valued shareholders, key stakeholders,
and wider investor community that from available indications we are unlikely to complete our
2015 audit and issue our audited accounts on 31 March, 2016, as required by The NSE Rules
(the Rules).
We have worked diligently with our external auditor, Ernst & Young (“EY”) to ensure a swift
conclusion to the audit process. However, after reviewing the financials, EY indicated that the
Accounts may likely need to be referred to the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (“FRC”)
pursuant to Rule 5 of the recently publicised FRC Rules. We expect the process to be concluded
on or before 31 May, 2016, however this is dependent on the completion of the external review
process as referred to above.
The company’s management would also like to bring to the attention of its shareholders and
the investor community that the accounts of the company at FYE 2015 will be in line with its Q3
2015 performance. The expected decline is attributable to the industry’s downturn, prevalent
economic headwinds, as well as fiscal and monetary restrictions driven by a challenging
macro environment.

While we are actively restructuring the business to adapt to this difficult period, we are optimistic
and steadfast in our commitment to return to profitability in 2016.

I suspect Oando management of trickery. They are suddenly acting all honest and sincere.

There OER business posted a profit which was not expected. The stock rallies, and they immediately come out to tell us that we should not be carried away. " That full year will be in line with Quarter 3.

Alright, but then this press release came in around 1:30pm, on Friday, yet the bids didn't reduce neither did the offer really increase as the stock still closed on its possible highest for the day.

So its either that the news was not perceived as bad by players, or it is already fully factored in the price or the market was yet to hear the news as at Friday or the current good news pushing the stock is stronger than the supposed bad news.

All the same, let's wait till Monday to see.

I have shares of Oando though, and I am currently sitting on a 9.8% paper gain which I don't intend to lose.

best to sell before closure for short term players ! IMO (cash in 10 - 20% after fees)
else its a liquidity trap cause of d rush for the exit pre closure date & post closure.
your patience will be tested with capital tied up pending supposed div payments
we keep learning

Truth is, you can't predict the market. Before, we have had seasons when immediately after ex div (Mark down), prices recovered same day. So capital was preserved why dividend was earned.

I feel an increase in short termers in the market is affecting us. If we still had huge impact from Foreign investments, which most times are long termers, they would not be thinking of playing short term. A typical huge fund manager buys in, earns a div yield of 11-12% which is cool, waits close to one year to review if the investment should be disposed of, expecting that at least capital should be preserved within the period. So in essence you have more buyers before dividend mark down date and less sellers immediately after.

We just need to understand the times and play.

The funny thing is that u won't see Ucap to buy until it gets to 2.21. A 30% upside from 1.7naira.

Then the dividend yield will be 14.25% less withholding tax.

I find it necessary to also add that the expected return on equities like Ucap and Afripud is naturally higher when compared to much more liquid stocks. So a dividend yield of 14% now for an illiquid stock might be less preferred to a yield of 12% for a very liquid stock. Lessons for another day.

Afripud at a dividend yield of about 12% already lost its steam. Everyone is scared of being trapped after payment of dividend. I expect a bit more upside in the coming days though.

Zenith's div yield less WHT as at Friday's 12.79 price is 10.9%. I expect a price appreciation to at least 13.95naira before div payment making it a yield of 10%.

GTB might likely hover around is current price of 16 naira until Ex div day.

In essence, Ucap's div yield of 18.5% less WHT on Friday's price of 1.7 is solid. I expect a 30% upside here to 2.21 before the bulls ease and little bit more upside before dividend payment. Probably a 2.52 naira price before ex div day, taking the div yield to 12.5%, less WHT.

I do not have any UCap unit.

My opinion above contains some true factual info but the conclusions are not really based on any extensive research, and should not be used solely for an investment decision.

In a sane economy, when the Fed reduces interest rates, the equity market is bouyed as some investments are transferred to equity.

With risk free rates, (NTB) specifically around 7% max for the 364 days tenor, it baffles me that with a dividend yield of above 10% for some stocks, there is no immediate positive reaction. This is an anomaly unless the argument below is in place.

One could argue that capital preservation is not certain,( gain 10% on dividend yield, lose 5% on capital loss) or that the risk involved in investing in Nigerian equities considering the macro economic environment warrants a higher risk premium than 3%. (10%-7%).

If the above is the case, then, we are in for a long thing. Despite all, I go chop my dividend and at the least sell my equity holdings at cost price.

still looking at champions result, were they paid back some money as tax in 2004? why? its +ve as against negative.

They still had some tax claims based on previous years losses, so the claim reduced their 2014 loss. When the 2014 result was released in end of Feb last year, the silent bull wey carry the stock from 4 naira plus to 8 gave me some good money, but beware their illiquidity. The 2014 was a loss but was way better than the previous year's heavier loss.

Their change of financing from zero debt to 100% equity was the best decision ever.

The company now has a lot of cash, 1.2 billion in cash and cash equivalents, despite buying machines of almost 650m in the year.

Their trade payables is also high which is good, as it is probably interest free.

Champion is still a small coy nonetheless but has a technical advantage with big daddy Heineken as their Oga. When the economic situation changes and everybody starts shayoing, dem go do well.

What is your estimate of FCMB's loss even if there will one? Oando made a great loss of N13.44 for 2014 Full Year, but its share price has never gotten to N2 not to talk of 65Kobo. The probability of FCMB getting to 65Kobo is very small!

Edu, you are seriously battling for FCMB. In my experience, I don't do companies that just declared a bad result, reason being that I cannot guarantee how other investors will react, especially in an already bearish market caused by general world macro economic issues.

An over reaction by investors could lead to a tempoary crash, but of course, if u are in already and can't get out, U can only pep talk urself out of the situation until things improve. I do it too.

Though seriously, if u can offload ur FCMB units, pls do. Offloading at a loss ain't bad especially when some stocks like Zenith may still have an upside potential of N2, this new month.

FCMB in their corporate release mentioned that same fate awaits their Q4 results, so why have faith in them. I would prefer having faith in God.

Also note that Oando and FCMB are in different industries and the pricing dynamics of their share price is quite different. FCMB might not get to 0.65k. In fact I feel they won't, but they can.

In summary, I don't see any economic reason to believe in FCMB. If you have to believe in them, let it be because of a Word from God about putting your money there.

For me FCMB is a sell.
