I have an advice for you, DO NOT BUY A USED BLACKBERRY!!! Why? I am a victim of such, I bought a used Blackberry Torch for very close to the price of a new one. It does everything but it won't ping! The Pin is unique to each Blackberry and the previous owner, so they will normally block the pin through Blackberry Protect or declare the phone stolen. So that they can keep their PIN and their BB Friends don't start pinging you thinking its them. Tell me what use is a blackberry that doesn't ping? You might as well buy the best Samsung Or Nokia brand new. My advice is try the pinging before you buy a used blackberry, and buy from someone with a return policy if the pinging doesn't work. Because they can switch the PIN off anytime through BLACKBERRY PROTECT. |

The problem is once you choose a processing country and have your picture taken with your fingerprint then you can't apply anywhere else anymore, or else you could be done for double identity. So in a way at collection stage of application its a point of no return. Thanks for your advice anyway. |

It is a chaotic experience to obtain a Nigerian passport from Nigerian embassy Dublin. I have been going to the embassy to obtain my passport for the last few weeks and they keep telling us the Passport issuing machine is broken. But to the amazement of people that were given a collection date for their passport and who have paid a fortune to travel to Nigeria, an insider told us that the machine isn't broken but they have run out of Passport materials. And there is a notice in the embassy that the machine has been broken and would affect passport issuing from June-11-2011, and according to them up till friday july-1-2011 they claim to be waiting on someone from Nigeria to fix the machine. We have a ticket to travel this weekend and we are confused what to do as my passport is expired and can't use it for travel. The tickets are non-refundable, non changeable and non transferable, we stand to lose around E6000 if unable to travel. Please I need help and advice quick on what to do as am tired of going there everyday and they keep saying " you are wasting your time coming here as we can't do anything about the machine" its madness there as people are not pleased considering this is one of the busiest travel period and if they were not equiped for this period you wonder what they are doing in the embassy all year round. Are you going throgh the same situation or would you know the best solution to this issue please share your opinion. |

@spyder880 Nice plans, but why is the staircase position not indicated on the second plan which I assume should be a ground floor plan? Thanks spyder880, the existing plan was for a duplex but I have since decided to build a bungalow instead. So the staircase area is non existent on the new plan because there will be no use for the staircase on a bungalow. So that space is being added to the livingroom. Please I need all to give any idea or useful tips based on my new plan. |

Asaba — Commercial sex workers in Umunede Delta State, have allegedly beaten three customers into a coma over their refusal to effect complete payment after several rounds of sex. LEADERSHIP SUNDAY gathered that the angry prostitutes descended on their customers who were said to have taken Viagra (hard sex drugs) before seeking them out. Expectedly, commercial sex workers in Umunede operate from different brothels to woo unsuspecting travellers, en route Benin-Asaba to the eastern parts of the country at night into having fun with them. The going rate, for what is called "daybreak", is N8,000 to N10,000 depending on what is agreed upon. Sources said the incident which took place on Thursday night involved Igbo traders travelling from Benin to Onitsha who were stranded at Umunede when their vehicle broke down at nightfall. Thus, the traders sought accommodation, only to discover that all the hotels were brothels filled with sex workers. They were said to have negotiated to sleep with a few of them on "daybreak" menu but this was not to be as they tried to elope without paying in full. Eyewitness said that the prostitutes, in anger, teamed up and dealt them heavy blows, leaving them with deep-cut injuries. They were taken to the hospital in Benin after the intervention of some elders in the area. Sources close to the hospital where the victims were admitted (University of Benin Teaching Hospital UBTH) said they might not survive following heavy loss of blood. A medical doctor who did not want his name in print told our correspondent on phone that the victims were in bad shape and still in danger due to deep cuts in their heads. All efforts to stop the bleeding failed, he said. The victims' names were given as Emeka, Nnamdi, and Cornelius who hail from Imo State but live in Benin City where they deal in vehicle spare parts. Police spokesman in the state, ASP Charles Muka could not confirm the story. He said he was yet to be briefed on the incident but the divisional police officer in the area confirmed the story, adding that the case was under investigation after six of the prostitutes were arrested while others took to their heels. http://allafrica.com/stories/201101171433.html |

Just out of curiosity, has the pastor in question been known for manipulating the church fund? or does the person who started the thread a friend of this pastor to pass a character judgement? if not do we forget that people like Bush, Clinton, Blair Obama are members of a particular congregation and pays tithe and its not a crime for your church member to be wealthy or privileged. Nigeria: FRSC to Clamp Down On Right-Hand Vehicles 9 March 2009 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) has declared its intention of clamping down on right-hand vehicles forthwith, saying their presence on our roads, 37 years after the nation changed its traffic system is no longer acceptable. In a release signed by Ijeoma Nwachi, the Lagos State Sector Public Education Officer, the Lagos State Sector Commander, Mr. Jonas Agwu said the commission is "alarmed by the resurgence of right hand drive vehicles on Lagos roads," and has thus begun "clamping down on such vehicles." According to the release, "so far, six has been impounded in line with the provisions of the National Road Traffic Regulation (2004) which states that "no Motor Vehicle shall be registered or driven on any Public Road if the steering apparatus of the motor vehicle is fitted on the right-hand side of the vehicle." Agwu affirmed "that the usage of such illegal vehicles will no-longer be tolerated forthwith, as this is against safety standard and the National Road Traffic Regulations, 2004 especially after 37 years of its official prohibition as provided in the right hand steering drive change over Act of 1972." He noted that such vehicles constitute potential cause of road traffic accident in the country as the driver position and steering apparatus of such vehicles do not align with the requirements for maximum safety of other motorists using left hand steering vehicles as permitted under Nigerian laws. He further emphasized that those engaged in importing such vehicle with the intention of converting them should have a rethink as such importation is illegal while the conversion is risky and poses a threat to other motorists The FRSC commander also therefore called on other government agencies involved in traffic management to desist from registering such vehicles and enjoins all road users to support and cooperate with the Command in its determination to make Lagos roads safer by abiding by road traffic rules and regulation, as violators of the law will be arrested and prosecuted accordingly. |
