Politics / Re: Not Every Employer Is To Pay N70000 Minimum Wage, Akpabio erred - The Cable by Druss(m): 9:37am On Jul 25
Houseontherock1:
Please don't blame Akpabio...he's a typical Nigerian polithiefcian with little or no knowledge of the laws of the country they rule over...even the so-called lawyers among them undecided

As for companies with fewer than 25 employees who rake in millions in profit, they usually pay their few employees well undecided

He is part of the issue. How do you expect such a man to value education? Someone that cannot educate himself on the laws.
Politics / Re: You Cannot Pay Your Gateman Or Driver Below N70,000 - Senate President by Druss(m): 9:32am On Jul 25
Teenaira:

Everybody knows the policy is not for small businesses. You have to have employed more than 5 persons for it to apply, otherwise all small businesses will close down immediately.

Not everybody knows. An idiot was arguing with me that Akpabio is sounding like he has forgotten or is ignorant of the law. Minimum wage is for companies of certain sizes.
Politics / Re: You Cannot Pay Your Gateman Or Driver Below N70,000 - Senate President by Druss(m): 9:30am On Jul 25
This law is similar to Tinubu removing subsidy. They are not looking at the unforeseen consequences. I expect people to start offering apprenticeships instead of employment. People may lose their jobs as well. I expect if I have a stay at home maid, I will now be charging her for rent and food consumed.

Fake news.

Yawn. This game they are playing - I would advise the public to not take sides. The closing scene would be interesting.

A body of lies, by liars, and supported by liars. Reno, Bayo and co have an agenda. I suspect most non-ignorant Nigerians ignore them but then again they know their targets. Those that want to deceive themselves that this govt is not functional because of opposition. Numbskulls.

From the story, one of the people that were interviewed by FIJ said she took them to court and she awarded to be compensated for damages which the company never paid. So terrible if this is true

Not surprised.

Fake news. Retard Obi supporters will never tire. Election loss still dey pain una body? If you think you can smear the Oni just to get at Yorubas, you are mistaken.

You cited one Mrs Offiong and many allegedly duped, don't they have full names? If you truly lost millions on naira to fraud, will you be afraid to have your name in print or to go to the Police or Court.

Your hatred for South Westerners will eventually destroy you

Think before typing. In this country where police arrest victims, why would anyone put their real name? This story is not fake news. Nigerians from all parts of the country were duped.

I am willing to testify that this story is true. People in my family were among those defrauded by Imperial Homes. The names are correct and the story line is correct.

Some people on this thread should be placed in a mental home. Their contributions have been nothing but juvenile.

Politics / Re: Bismarch Rewane: Nigeria Moving From Debt Sustainability To Debt Trap by Druss(m): 7:07am On Jul 13
SmartPolician:
Huncle Bismarch Rewane, it seems you have suddenly forgotten that you were appointed to serve in this government.

In fact, every APC government gives you the opportunity to serve as an economic policy adviser, what do typically achieve as a professional adviser?

Perhaps he has given advice and they have not listened. I see nothing wrong with what he has said. Nigeria's government costs are increasing. Insecurity is worsening. Food supply is getting worse. The very things one should do to help kick-start recovery .. in fact let me stop there before I get pissed again.

Politics / Re: FG Reaches Agreement With Oil Companies On Supply Of Crude Oil To Local Refinery by Druss(m): 4:26pm On Jul 11
This is talk. Agreements have been in place for a while. NNPC cannot force an IOC to do anything with the oil they produce after they have given NNPC their share of the production.

Perhaps they are referring to NPDC or SEPLAT. These people are playing with Nigerians' intelligence.

We should continue thinking our problem is non-Nigerians and not our lootocrats in executive, judicial, legislative and other arms of government. Shoutouts to the ones in private business and the banks. These heinous acts wouldn't have been possible without your collaboration.

Business / Re: Dangote Accuses IOCs Of Crude Oil Price Manipulation by Druss(m): 6:54am On Jun 24
It is good to note that from the start of production, more than 3.5 billion litres, which represents 90 per cent of our production, have been exported.

If the above is true, how much was supplied to Nigeria? It looks like they have been exporting their products.
TV/Movies / Re: My Experience Using A Smart TV by Druss(m): 10:57pm On Jun 23
Check the resolution of the media you are using. The higher the resolution the more the download rate. Some people will say they want 4K TV. Their pockets can't handle it.
Business / Re: Dangote Accuses IOCs Of Crude Oil Price Manipulation by Druss(m): 10:52pm On Jun 23
UncommonLogic:
The govt should mandate these IOC to sell a percentage of their oil to local refineries. This is a matter of national security. It's pure common sense. Many countries have laws protecting their local companies. Nigeria should do the same.

You really need to read up on the deal Nigeria via NNPC has with the IOCs. Dangote Refinery should come clean with which IOCs!

Let him name the IOCs? Is it the same IOCs that gave them crude stock earlier this year?

Another distraction. Instead of announcing, just do it. Also look at reducing the cost of governance.

It is as I thought. We do have such laws.

https://www.mondaq.com/nigeria/antitrust-eu-competition-/1231334/competition--anti-trust-regulation-in-nigeria-restrictive-agreements

The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act ("FCCPA"wink, 2018 is generally the primary legislation for the regulation of competition and protection of consumers in Nigeria. One of the salient objectives of the FCCPA is to prohibit restrictive or unfair business practices that prevent or restrict competition (as captured in Part VIII (Section 59-69) of the FCCPA).

People. Turns out Nigerian journalists have struck again. Finidi NEVER made those comments about Osimhen. Anyone close to Victor should tell him to make peace.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.vanguardngr.com/2024/06/finidi-george-reacts-to-victor-osimhens-outburst-in-viral-video/amp/

NFF needs to blacklist that journalist that reported this first. Evil persons!!

I would be proud of him for taking responsibility. He can look at himself in the mirror and feel no shame. He will not jump at shadows and he will still be my son.

This is wrong. 2nd Corinthians 5 ; 17 says

Therefore if any man be in christ , old things are passed away, and behold all things become new.

All he would done is confess before God, seek forgiveness.

For if we confess our sons, the Lord is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

You are wrong to call him wrong. He did nothing wrong.

Can you tell me how it will affects his career? How will you say he "must" apologize? What about a lying coach who heaps his woeful performance on a player who wasn't even in camp? So, you think the NFF is not a laughing tool now appointing the coach? Why did you think Finidi lost his coaching opportunity with the Super Eagles as the head coach just with two games played?

Next time, read about the word "must".

Are you minding the person! They dont realise some parties in the NFF just played Finidi and Nigerians because they wanted a foreign coach. Finidi was used to demonstrate local coaches were not good enough and he has gone to worsen the case with poor man management.

Hmmm. Victor will never get to the level and achievements of Finidi. His rants on IG is uncalled for and he should be suspended by the NFF for this rant. What an impudence from a small boy because of small change he has? Shame the NFF would not have the balls to suspend him. Can he do same at Napoli? Dem no born am. Shior

This is an idiotic post. Victor Osimhen shall excel in life. He shall surpass Finidi George on all stages. If you are not happy, GOD shall keep you alive to witness.
