Religion / Re: Fake And Sweet Mouthed Pastors by eghosaobas: 11:44am On May 05, 2009 |
"A few months ago, when I was in Warri with members of my extended family, I was invited to a church programme. The church is located at Iyara Street. Rather than preaching salvation, it was all prosperity, how to give and invest in the lives of men of God. I had no choice than to put on my recorder to record the rantings of the guest speakers. The host pastor, who is also the founder/General Overseer, summarised it all when he told the congregation to go and close their bank accounts and bring the money to sow a seed of faith in their lives (pastors). Those who did not have money, let alone bank accounts, were told to go and borrow, deluding the congregation that it is only when they do that, that God would be challenged to answer their cries and heart desires. Right now, the GO has three cars and a personal driver! Perhaps, the next plan will be to establish a Bible college or university, and later, the purchase of a jet! Thereafter, the Isiekwenes of this deceitful world would feed us with all kinds of propagandist explanations." These above text is edited from REAL TRUTH contributions on Adeboye Jets 2, . this is one of many ways that this men of Devil(not men of God) operates. if they are realy from God they wont behave the way they are behaving, using their brain to decieve innocent people of their hard earned currency. If you are looking for the best house and cars today, turn to the so called self acclaimed 419ers they have them. so were are we going? |

Women wears are wrappers and skirts, not trouser. Since women started wearing trouser and find comfort in it,they are diplomtic and dragging it with men. Men that tie wrapper in niger delta do so cos its their traditional wear. Have you ever seen an hausa or yoruba man on wrapper? No cause its not their custom to do so. |

Maddock & abhosts, what i realy meant is that people are abusing the priviledge by turning themselves to COPERATE BEGGERS, all in the name of soliciting for air time assistance from the public, this makes the muslim to make jest of us. If any pastor dont have money to go on air,why not start a door to door evangelism. For the contributor that talked on sms and phone calls. Do you demand of money from whomever you call or send text to? |
Religion / Is Television Evangelism By Force? by eghosaobas: 1:53pm On Apr 19, 2009 |
When I was growing up,you will see people coming to your houses to evangelise and bring people to God. Some will get your contact address for follow up. But these days what we have now are pastors and in most cases and their wives coming on air and television as host and co host of a Christian program. At the end of the program they will be soliciting for money from the public to be able to sustain the program, they will display on the television an account number were you are to send the money to. Some will just preach for 10mins or 15mins and next would be how to send the money to them. If you watch Christian programs on a Sunday, most of them are begging for one money or the other, while some a specific on the amount you are to give, like Bishop Lanre Obembe is always asking for 1000 a month. So you can see where we are coming from. I now start wondering if they are forced to preach on air, what has happened to our door to door evangelism? |

They are human beign like us,but i dont think they pay tithes as they preached. If anyone of them should pay tithe to their church he has not done anything. So from what i gathered most of these big names we hear dont pay the tithe they promote,if they do to were or to whom? |
Religion / Re: Are Miracles Real? by eghosaobas: 5:54pm On Apr 15, 2009 |
Yes oo,they are all stage managed, if its true why is yinka ayefele still moving about in a wheel chair. We have thousands of men of God who claims they perform miracle every day,so you people should bring him out of the wheel chair, abi he nor get faith reach? |
Religion / Re: Should We Stop Giving Tithe? by eghosaobas: 5:46pm On Apr 15, 2009 |
I quite agree wit you,thd most anoying part of it is that the universities owned by these big churches charge the highest fee in this country,if you are not the son of high and mighty you cant get through to their universities. |
