Business / The ''45 Second Presentation'' That Will Change Your Life. by enm(m): 11:59am On Jul 30, 2013
The ''45 Second Presentation'' that will change your life.

Q: Have you ever thought about what it would be like to ''Own Your Life''? This is what i think it means to ''Own Your Life''......

When you subtract the sleeping time, commuting time, working time and things you have to do each and every day of your life,
most people don't have more than one or two hours a day to do what they would like to do; and then, would they have the money to do it?
We have discover a way a person can learn how to '' Own Your Life'' by building a home based business; and we have a system for doing it
that is so simple anyone can do it. It doesn't require selling, and the best part is, it won't take much of your time.

If you are interested, you can contact me through this number 08098219805 0r bb pin 25878918.

"Typical of a man whose upbringing was admittedly characterized with storm and stress, he established the Seadogs Confraternity during his undergraduate years in the University of Ibadan. We all know the implications of that confraternity in the life of Nigerian universities. Such a man cannot, by every societal standard, be a role model."

I still wonder why yurubas worship mediocres and such a character as Soyenka who championed campus secret cultism.

IBB has proved it again that there is no role model in yurubaland, its either they are crooks or cultists or they are committing suicide like awoalowo did.

Yurubas should come to the east of Niger and see abundance of role models to emulate from: great Zik to Achebe to Ojukwu to Orizu to Ekwueme to Tansi to Cardinal Arinze to Chuka Umunna to .......infact NL cannot contain it.

Guy abeg stop this your line of reasoning here. some people will see it as a provocation

I always love things like this because it gives me the means to know our leader better.

Me even though I gbadun the lion and the jewel plus the telephone conversation i can not vouch, accept him as a role model or even elect him into position because i feel something about him his not right and its through things like this that one will know if or she is right about a person?

take dat: An IBB, who has been consigned to the dustbin of history is trying to discredit another in his usual maradonic style. When did it become a crime to serve ones fatherland? Yoruba's will say "aje gbodo on wa eni kun ra". IBB does not have the moral authority to castigate anyone. Only shameless reprobates will rejoice over this manufactured hogwash from a man who committed egregious crimes against Nigeria.

I pray tell us, who among the past and current leaders including the so called holier than thou progressive leaders or politicians can in all honesty and sincerity is qualified morally to castigate his or her fellow club member?

natasha: I will tell you that jobs are hard to come by, so also is keeping a job. There isnt an easy job. Even oil/banking/political jobs have alot of stress attached to it. If you are complaining that you work in the rain and sun (yet you hv a guaranteed income montgly irrespectively of your target met) i am sorry to say this; you are LAZY. Very lazy and a typical epitome of the nigerian graduate who feels the world owes them the right to a xushy, well paying stress free job.
Do you know how many hours the kids who hawk water/buns etc put in daily even at the weekends all for a meagre 200# naira at the end od the day? In the rain, sun, cold, they endure daily hazards like people stealing their wares, sexual harrassments from all sorts, injuries from feckless drivers.
Let me give you examples of life in d uk, there are people who work odd jobs in freezing conditions (-4 degrees typical weather condition for my city) here and end up sleeping on a couch at the end of the night just so they can save up and send money to take care of their responsibilities back home as well as meet the demanda of extended family membera/relatives like you.
I would advise yoj to suck it up, man up, stop acting like a spoilt child and learn to be thankful that you have a job despite you little work experience instead of conplaining that they didnt give you a car. Do you think its cheap maintaining a car? You need to stop this attitude of self entitlement and change your mentality. For someone who has already earned 600k in 6 months and cant boast of a 5% savings na wa o. Afraid she is catching me (as sum1 i know wld say).
Take what u can if u can from my words and i wish u well.

$£yi:
Lagos state gov saw the need to construct a bridge on a federal waterway to ease the traffic in the state, built the bridge and tolled the bridge after completion.
Lagosians have the option to either use the longer existing route freely or use the shorter newly constructed route.

Already, Lagos gov has successfully reduced the traffic on the old route, such that citizens that don't care about the tolling of the new bridge won't pass the old one, and the fact that many Lagosians are always in haste means many will go for the tolled bridge, leaving the old for the common Lagosians. Thereby splitting the traffic.

What has the federal government been doing all these years that it was obvious that a bridge is needed on that waterway to ease traffic?
If the federal government had constructed the bridge, will the Lagos state gov go ahead to toll the bridge?

Looks like the federal government is discouraging the state government in taking up responsibilities that they(fg) are incompetent of.

The FG shouldn't have mentioned anything related to the bridge, because it is their incompetent @ss that Lagos government is saving.

No sane human will pass through or see the bridge and won't appreciate the brain behind it. In short the Federal government is envious of Lagos state.

You and your fellow journey men should clap for yourself and read it again.

Reduce their salary and allowance and block every black hole in revenue generation and remittance to the state account. After doing all this are still found themselves in the same spot, they can now come talk.

Dbeliever: What does Nigerians or the member states stand to gain fron this forum if i may ask? I personally see no importance of NGF.

We stand to gain a lot from this forum not in term of money but in term of competition among the governors to developed their state. collaboration between state for the purposes of development and a discussion forum to discuss matters on governance in their state and sharing of ideas. That is if only they stick to the true purpose of the forum.

yd849ja:

Like I earlier stated 'its either GEJ's way all the highway rite?' based on your logic as long as they dance to GEJ's tune all would be well in your wilderness of tyranny. How u conjectured that they are the one that hand twisted GEJ on the issue of subsidy shows how sentimental about GEJ u really are, when the whole world knows that subsidy removal was the brainchild of your revered GEJ that can do no wrong and that of Okonjo. And how you amount illegality as constituted by ur president to political mastery beats me. I guess we are in Nigeria after all. How the governors would benefits from subsidy removal is still an ambiguous logic to me so Ill like you to educate me on that. The last time I checked fighting the president over SWF that tend to shortchange every state of the country is constitutional. Like I earlier said your president mindless interference with the NGF only shows his desperation and nothing less.

I never said or implied that GEJ should be allowed to run uncheck but what i don't subscribe to is the governor leaving their own constitutional duties to interfare with that of the president.

why do we have division of labour? the governors err in trying to hold power over the president through their collective power, something that supposed not to be. Nothing wrong in advicing the president or calling his attention to things but everything is wrong when they step out of their boundary to become a political tool to coerce the president in doing their bidding both at the party level and in the governance of the nation.

All this governors, can they take it or accept it if all the local council chairman in their respective state come together to form an association in the name of good governance and peer review and then step out to act as a pressure group demanding from them good governance?

The governors of today are too powerful, powerful than the president, powerful than than the vice president, powerful than the senate president, powerful than the senate and house of rep, their respective state assembly, council chairman and counsellors are all rubber stamp to this governors. Is this the democracy we agitated for? where is the balance of power in this present setup. How can the principles of check and balance applied in this present setup?

The first step to rectify this is what GEJ did, causing division among them, weakening their collective power over the president and how i wish the senate and house of rep and state assemblymen will do what is right and seek their independent from this governors but too greedy and scared of what their governors will do to them by using party machinary against them in preventing them from returning.

Please the idea of the removal fuel subsidy stemmed from the governors when they were crying that they don't have money to pay the 18500 minimum wage, yes ngozi did carried it on her head preaching here and there why it must be allowed to stay but it all started from the governors. God bless oshomole for being man enough to stand by that decision in the midst of wide spread protest or do you think a man like oshomole will just stand up to stand by the president if they the governors have no hand in it?
Politics / Re: Should Nigerian Governors' Forum Be Banned Or Disbanded? by enm(m): 8:39pm On Jun 26, 2013
abu abdullah: there wouldn't have been any problem if the presidency had focused on priorities and not meddle in irrelevant matters. Nobody cared about NGF until the presidency came in. Scrapped or not, what is the impact on average people like us? To God will we return and every man will account for his affairs.

The president wouldn't have interfere if only they have face their business and run the association for the purpose it was created in the first place

yd849ja: The level of IQ of most of you on this forum shows the level of ignorance in this country and why we have the present crop of peeps in government. If you lots are the future of Nigeria then I have no doubt that the future is actually bleak for this country.
To start with the existence of NGF is constitutional (freedom of Association). Then issue of banning/not doesn't even arise. Also they actually serve the interest of you ignoramous lot but you are all too blinded by your sentiment for Jonathan and his reign of illegality to kno this. They are a peer group advancing the well being of their states contrary to what you might want to believe. The same NGF helped your GEJ to gain political prominence but I guess you are all suffering from amnesia to remember this. The current situation of the NGF bothers on legality and otherwise by you know who? So because GEJ wants to control NGF through illegality by the unscrupulous parade by Jang and the refusal of the rightful parties suddenly makes NGF evil. I get you lots logic it's either GEJ's way or the highway right? It might be Amechie today but you and Tomorrow. Nigerians think and stop being sentimental about anything GEJ.

How are they serving the interest of ignoramus like me? by over stepping their bound or by corruption they perpetuate in their respective state?

Who armed twist jonathan to scrap the fuel subsidy when he refused to back down on the meager 18000 minimum wage? and where were they when we all rose up in protest? which one of them came out to stand by the president apart from oshomole?

When an association move from it original noble role which in this case is peer review, collaboration between them to move their state forward to a sort of pressure group, cabal, mafia abi na godfather dictating who to become president, vice president e.t.c should not be encourage by all.

Believe me there is more to this than meet the eye and he who wear the shoes knows where it pains most and don't forget jonathan was a former governor so he know best.

And to me what jonathan did is a classical demonstration of political mastery to free himself from the clutches of this governors and at the same time reminding them that hr is the president, they are the governor and each with him or her own constitutional roll to play in the governance of the country.

Lagos state does not need to tax more than they are already doing. Let the federal government today declared lagos a special status and more money to lagos and lagos to create or demand more tax, this problem will persist.

The problem is not the people rushing in on daily basis but corruption on the part of those at the helm of affair and their attitude to duty.

Tackle this problem and everything will fall into place.

Gbawe:

I don't care who is lying. It does not matter whether it is the news source or the quoted doctor. What is important is to show that Amosun never promised free healthcare. Free health care is only for children under 5 and adults over 70. When you work out the percentage of the population that applies to, in relation to all the inhabitants of Ogun State, then come back and speak.

Gbawe my dear fellow good citizen of nigeria and friend, let call a spade a spade and shovel, shovel.

The umbrella body of doctors in ogun state came out to make a statement as a body that there is no such thing as free health care. Do you want to tell me that this doctors are lieing and are in consort with the opposition to discredit AMOSUN government.

Do you really believe that if truly there is free health care for people above 70 and children below 5 the umbrella body won't mention it in other word engaging in distortion of fact and do you think they will involve themselves in such distasteful act without compromising their integrity?

Walahi, english can be a very tricky at times and if care is not taken it can land one in trouble. Do you know that word "is" can made or mar a person before a competent court of laws.

When a statement is made in generalization it should be reported or presented the way it was made. For crying out loud he made a statement referring to all but why must premium time now present it as if he singularly mentioned Nigerian government, yes we all know nigeria government is corrupt so also is you.

Distorting of fact in whatever way should not be tolerated. Facts must be presented in their original state even if it is summary.

Those of you telling J.T Rawling to go and relax are wrong, do you not know that it is an assault on his personality and an act of dishonor. If he should take up the to competent court of law, he won't loose.

You people should just liken this case to or just imagine that you are the commander of a troop about to attack a place and an intelligence report was presented before you and it is the intelligence report that you will use in determining your scope of attack not knowing that the report have been distorted because the facts were not presented the way they were presented in the first place. What do you think will happened if you should go ahead based on the intelligence report before you?

Premium time err big time and people should not support them. This is act of deliberately misinforming the public all in the name of profit. Going by this how are they different from the so called lie lie jonathan led government. This is also corruption.

Now to some of my fellow poster, mimiko raised some issues una dey relegate to the background, an allegations against the ameachi camp.

He said ameachi presided over the election that saw him re elected as chairman. the question is is it true or not and if it true, is it accepted as a democrat

He said that the voting materials was provided by ameachi or it camp on the d day? question is was there verification of the materials by all party and if not what happened to the principles of fairness to all.
